My partner and I went here for the first time tonight. There were more menu options than I originally thought which was nice! I got the chicken katsu curry and it was delicious. The chicken was moist but crunchy on the outside and the portion was a good size. My partner got the bibimbap which was also good. I also highly recommend the pork dumplings! The cheese katsu was absolutely amazing! Perfectly crispy on the outside, loaded with melty cheese, and the meat tasted incredibly fresh. The shredded cabbage salad was also super fresh, and the sesame mayo dressing tasted homemade. Everything was delicious and well-prepared. It was the perfect late lunch, and I’d definitely come back!

Salt + Lite is a restaurant that offers a combination of classic Korean and Japanese dishes. The menu has more options than expected, including chicken katsu curry, bibimbap, pork dumplings, cheese katsu, katsu, tempura udon, tonkatsu, gukbap, and curry pork katsu meals. The chicken katsu curry is delicious, with chicken that is moist but crunchy on the outside, and the portion is a good size. The bibimbap is also good, and the pork dumplings are highly recommended. The cheese katsu is absolutely amazing, perfectly crispy on the outside, loaded with melty cheese, and the meat tastes incredibly fresh. The shredded cabbage salad is super fresh, and the sesame mayo dressing tastes homemade. The katsu is very unique, a thicker cut of meat with a light fry on the exterior, served with a side of rice, pickled daikon, katsu sauce, wasabi, and salt. The tempura udon is incredibly flavorful but felt almost too much, too heavy and hearty and difficult to finish. The gukbap has a lot of meat and the broth is clean and flavorful, and the kimchi tastes really authentic. Meals come with pickled radish, sauces, and miso soup, and complimentary Miso soup is given with meals. The Korean fried chicken sample is free. The food is very crispy and has that umami flavor. Everything is fresh and packed with care, still perfect when eaten, and even the leftovers are amazing. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant looks like it is still working on the bar, with no alcohol on the menu yet.
