“This has been my favorite Thai restaurant for a while now. When they know you by name when you make a phone-in order, it just feels right. I love their hot&sour soup, and the Prik Khing is my go to for just adding some joy to my life.“

You can tell the ingredients were fresh, especially with the salmon. The GM Roll had a nice crispy texture with a sauce that brought everything together really well. I also appreciated how nicely everything was plated — it felt upscale but still comfortable and relaxed. Service was quick, there was no wait, and parking was easy too. “Our family visits Michigan about once a year, and there’s one restaurant we always make sure to stop at — Asian Express! It’s seriously delicious. Not just good, but so amazing that once you taste it, you can’t stop thinking about it.

The dish we never skip is the spicy fried fish. We always order two servings haha. I’ve never heard of or tasted anything like it before. Every bite is a flavor that can’t be imitated, strangely addictive and unforgettable.

And the sweet and sour pork! It comes out freshly fried, crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside, not overly sweet. Every bite makes you go “Wow~”.

The stir-fried squid is huge, too. We usually save some leftover sauce and mix it with rice for another meal — and it’s still unbelievably tasty. Our whole family keeps exclaiming how good it is while eating.

We also can’t skip the dumplings and shrimp fried rice. The dumplings are crispy outside and juicy inside, and the shrimp fried rice has such amazing flavor. Even with five of us eating, we kept going “Wow, wow” the whole time haha.

The parking lot is spacious, but the dining area inside is a bit small. That’s why we usually go around 4 PM when it’s less crowded. That way we can enjoy our meal comfortably.

Most of all, the owner is incredibly kind. Even though we only come once a year, she remembers us and sometimes gives us free rice or dumplings — it’s really touching. Last year, during our five-day stay, we went twice, so there’s no reason not to go haha. Honestly, we’re even thinking about going again tomorrow.

If you don’t go, you’ll regret it. Our family absolutely recommends this place. Once you taste it, you’ll keep thinking about it — it’s a must-visit when you’re in Michigan!“

“The food was fantastic - sesame chicken, veg lo mein, and veg fried rice. It was so great that they were open on Christmas Day. The wait was longer than any other day since they were the only place open in town (so take that into consideration when ordering on Christmas Day), but well worth the wait! “This place has the most authentic Japanese style feel I have ever been. The food, service, and presentation is the closest I've found to the experience I had in my last trip to Japan. “Had been going to this place for a while before the hostess on the phone told me their spice levels. Mild, Med, Hot, then 1X - 10X extra hot. She told me 5X is about habanero and 10X is about ghost pepper level.

I tried 4X and it was close to the hottest thing I've eaten lol. Even got advice on what I could do if it was too spicy. Very pleased with my order, I don't know if I'll go hotter than that, but the food was very flavorful in its own right, disregarding the spice.
