“I love bringing newcomers to Asian Corned Beef for their first corned beef eggroll. All come skeptical, all leave wanting more. What a unique treat that you must come experience. Get the one with corned beef, swiss, and kraut. Be sure to add the duck sauce. They can be life-altering if they come fresh out of the fryer. My only complaint is this location has no seating indoors or out. Get at least 3.“

“This was my go to Chinese food back in the day when I lived in Detroit. Haven’t been able to get good Chinese food north of 8 mile in a while. Decided to drive to Detroit to check out Chan’s again. Almond chicken and shrimp fried rice, just like years ago. I had a hard time calling in to place an order, but finally got through with food ready in 15 min. Arrived and waited 45 min. Although irritated on the wait, was well worth the wait. Don’t forget the egg rolls. The best of the best. Highly recommended.“

“Good food terrible service from the bartender older Caucasian lady with the glasses didn’t catch her name . This was on 6/10/26 around 2:45/3:00 pm.
My daughter and I stopped by this restaurant at the airport hoping to try something new, and the sushi was absolutely amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely exceeded our expectations. Most of the waitresses who assisted us were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.

Unfortunately, our experience with the bartender was disappointing. We ordered our food to go only because our flight was approaching and we wanted the ability to close the containers if needed, but we had planned to eat inside the restaurant. While I stepped away to use the restroom, my 12 year old daughter was approached and told that the section was closed. I then was coming back from the bathroom and could see my daughter with a look of confusion on her face e . Mind you she was just sitting eating her food not bothering anyone and we just seen another customer sitting there who had just left before we sat down. I was willing to move to the open side of the restaurant, but was then told that because our order was placed to go, we needed to leave and the was the purpose of ordering to go, is to go. So rudely.

I explained that we had purchased and paid for our meal there and simply wanted to finish eating and could move to the open part of the restaurant.Due to our flight, I didn’t have time to speak with a manager, but I felt the situation could have been handled much more professionally.

Overall, the food was outstanding and the majority of the staff were wonderful. I just wish the service we received from the bartender had reflected the same level of hospitality.Did not get to catch her name but it was on 6/10/26 at around 2:45/3:00 pm. It was very rude and uncalled for!“

“Immediately when we walked in, we were offered a pastry to try! Everything was delicious. Clean restrooms and extremely friendly service. If you're walking the riverfront and smell fresh bread sort of scent, I'm pretty sure it's this place! Can't wait to be back!“

“It was our first time trying out this restaurant and to start, the restaurant itself was quite cleanly. There were a variety of menu items ranging from Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese cuisine.

The waitress helped take our order at the front before we sat down. We chose to get the drunken noodles with chicken and the honey garlic chicken. We did not have to wait long before our food arrived. The food was piping hot indicating it had been cooked fresh and was very well seasoned. The prices were reasonable as well considering their portion sizes. Overall, I would recommend checking out this restaurant if you are in the area.“

“Usually I get delivery, first time dining in. Small, cozy place, friendly staff. Food was really good, great selection of sushi. Fish was very fresh. Prices very reasonable, they have parking at the fron. Will be back.“

“Mays is a goto for me!!! I’m in love with the King Ka Lee I believe. It’s the yellow curry with rice, chicken and potatoes. Perfect for a winter day. The food is always cooked fresh and you can watch them cook it. It’s really fast I like to order when I get there because it only takes a real 5 mins. And I add a Thai tea for the spice. Ima medium + spice kinda guy. If you want to go crazy add mushrooms.“
