Chans has good food. My problem is you never know when they are open. The service is quick and the food is always hot, which I like. Chans has been in this area a very long time. They could very well update the interior while you wait.
The food was okay. Nice customer service! She didn't get frustrated at my questions or I didn't get cussed out for asking them. That is a ++. Just couldn't stand the fact that's it's Cash only. I had to leave & come back because I only had a card. It was my first time there.

This was my go to Chinese food back in the day when I lived in Detroit. Haven’t been able to get good Chinese food north of 8 mile in a while. Decided to drive to Detroit to check out Chan’s again. Almond chicken and shrimp fried rice, just like years ago. I had a hard time calling in to place an order, but finally got through with food ready in 15 min. Arrived and waited 45 min.
