She was vibrant, inviting, and SO helpful & knowledgeable with the menu as this was our first time ordering at Johnny’s! We will be back tomorrow!!! ??“
“I'd heard about Bunny Bunny and wasn't sure what to expect when I visited! Rather than a standard sit down restaurant like I had envisioned the space is set up as a walk up counter where you place your order, receive a buzzer, and pick up the food on a tray when it's complete. There is a duo the runs the kitchen and cook all the food so be prepared to a wait a minute. It's not a full back of the house situation! What I love about Bunny Bunny is the freshness- with the counter and open kitchen design you can see them freshly preparing food made to order. The menu seems to be rotating - we had a chance to try the popcorn chicken, naan, and crab fried rice which were all tasty. Bunny Bunny is connected to a bar upstairs called Collect where you can find additional seating, beer, wine, and a few spirits. Overall i'd recommend Bunny Bunny if you're looking for something unique and different to try that's not a traditional sit down restaurant experience.“
“Wow wow wow… I love this place I love the quality of the food the great service delicious drinks! This experience is different and I love every bit. Everyone is so welcoming servers, host and My man Marty. Being a family with small children some places kinda are rude I’ve noticed even having well behaved children… it’s different here Marty and our server were interacting with the kids and us adults too it’s was nice. Felt like we were taken care of and it’s an awesome feeling. I recommend cheeseburger egg rolls, rib tip bao buns,Thai ribs are bomb, chicken fried rice..chicken dumplings are perfectly spicy if you’re into it.. I tried the cocktail ghost I really liked the balance of sweetness/smoky/coconutty…my husband enjoyed his drink I don’t remember what it was. All in all it’s great I’ve been here before and service and food always gets better. I like how everything is shareable as well.Kid-friendliness: Kids are all there food as well as found some dragons!!!“
“I remember when my mother told me there were new ppl running the restaurant now... I was worried, as her first experience wasn't great...The food portions were different and she didn't enjoy her shrimp egg foo young. Fast forward to Christmas eve, we wanted to have Chinese for our family dinner. The restaurant I wanted to get food from said it was at least an hr wait, so that was a no go. I decided to give my old fave spot a try, and boy am I glad I did! My large order was only a 20-25 minute wait, the food was delicious, and the customer service was excellent! I miss the lady that was previously there, but the new young lady is just as awesome. She even helped me carry all the food to the car, and making sure I was safe. Thank you, you were definitely appreciated!!“
“The best Chinese food in the city . I live west but I travel to the east just for their food. It’s like their Chinese food is premium top tier compared to others . They have nice portions of food . You have a choice of shrimp, chicken or vegetable fried rice with no upcharge. Every meal come with a shrimp egg roll( nice size) . But Christmas Eve I came in got the number 6 I believe which is the pepper steak in rice with extra broccoli. In this is the day that I have to discontinue coming here I received food poisoning which I am still recovering from. I’m really sad about this because I can no longer eat Chinese food because I am scared. But I will say out of 6 years of eating here they have the best service and best Chinese food I’ve ever had . I will still recommend but b cautious .Vegetarian options: Vegetable fried rice is really good. The vegetable soup also very good.“
“The staples of all GOOD American Chinese takeout spots!! You can tell the fryer is clean and the sauces are F-ing delicious! Nothing over the top fancy, but damn good consistent flavoring. Well worth their great prices!!!! Sweet Sour Chicken = On Point!“
“The crispy shrimp balls, chicken skewers and gyoza were so good. The shrimp balls were my favorite and the dipping sauces were both so tasty. Even my bf that was full from dinner earlier was stealing bites of my crispy shrimp balls, then happily ate the gyoza and chicken skewers when they came out. Jasmine is so friendly and was so happy to hear that we enjoyed her food. I'm looking forward to trying more items from their rotating menu!“
“I use to live close by a few years ago and the food was always good and reasonably priced and they stay open later than most. Went back there because the only place that I had found where I live now, and the Chinese food was really good, closed down shortly after covid. Just disappointed that they haven't upgraded their payment system to accept anything other than cash. I had to stop by the ? on the way.“
“Would always drive from west 8 mile to east 8 mile just to get their food that hadn't seemed to change since I first discovered this place years ago while attending school on the east side...now I'm in Taylor and having a difficult time finding good Chinese food...was in the neighborhood and decided to stop there to see if they still got it...best shrimp egg foo young ever, almond chicken could have been a little more tender...egg roll was so good...so was the fried rice, it was light and fluffy...have to go back...and the staff was so friendly.“
“We recently moved down into West Village from North Macomb County. Part of our bucket list was to find a go to Chinese Restaurant as this is one of our favorite carry out options. Well this past Christmas we celebrated on the 24th. Christmas Day we didn't want to cook and decided to try and find a Chinese restaurant that was open for carry out. Well we landed on Dynasty. I can tell you with 100% honesty that this is some of the greatest Chinese carry out we've ever had. Great portions. Tastes amazing and the family is wonderful. We've been back several times and will continue to order from here. The restaurant itself isn't much to look at but please don't let that turn you off.Highly recommend!!!“
“Hello Everyone I Ordered the S&S Chicken,Fried rice with all the meats, crab Rangoon, egg roll, fried crab claws. Food prep took 20 min longer than advised time. The rice was very flavorful lots of meat and CLEAN shrimp but just a tad bit on the dry side. The chicken was crispy hot and delicious. Crab Rangoon light and golden, eggrolls were great too! They were out of the deep fried crab claws i was kinda bummed but I'll try next time. All condiment and sauce i asked for were provided and server was very polite!“
“Great food. I've been going here since the 80s. Had a dip in service and food in the past but bounced back in recent years. The atmosphere is alittle out dated but i have so many memories, so it's not a major knock on the business. 4.6 out of 5“
“This is the only place that I get my Chinese food from; usually my first or second stop after arriving in Detroit. Shrimp fried rice, crab rangoon, beef and broccoli and pepper steak are my favs. Their food has been consistently good, and they have remained in the same location for over 30 years! Open Tuesday-Sunday, closed on Mondays. Check out their menu here:“
“Found this place online searching to replace the previous restaurant that I ordered from. I'm extremely picky about Chinese food and this place has met my expectation. The food always tastes fresh, I love their egg rolls (reheats well), they serve generous dinner portions and don't try to break your bank, their prices are fair which allows me to visit very frequently. The only place that I get Chinese takeout now. The crowd is definitely an indication of satisfied customers. The owners/staff always seem pleasant even when busy. Glad that I found, I appreciate good food.“
“The outside of this place and the inside will make you turn around and leave. It needed updating probably 20 years ago. But the food is the best on the east side. The owners are cranky/nice people. The neighborhood loves them and they love the neighborhood.Parking: There’s parking in front of the building.“
“This is a take out Chinese Restaurant that only accepts cash. The beef and broccoli was not the best but far from the worst. The meat was tender and not chewy, the carrots and broccoli wasn't over cooked or raw-crunchy. Mine was not as seasoned as my daughter's, she had the same thing. The sweet and sour meal, I got no complaints about it. This place is rare for several reasons: price, shrimp comes in the rice (egg roll as well), and quantity plus they offer the option of sauce on your meal or on the side (sweet &sour)! Many locations have charges for shrimp friend rice, give you white rice and put your sauce in a cup for you to pour yourself. This is great if that is your preference. But I like fried rice not rice that I can get from my cabinet and cook (exception for certain dishes) and to see have my sauce covering the batter.“
“I've been spit on in the lobby of Rikshaw house by homeless. There's maybe no roof? When it's raining outside, it'll rain on you inside, too. I still come back for the food. Here's the deal: Chinese food sucks at most places, you have to find what you like best and go there for only that thing. Rikshaw has the best chicken pieces AND the best sauce flavor and texture for their chicken dishes. The prices make me feel like I'm still getting "too much food" for what I pay and that's important when other options are twice the cost for something with no leftovers. They used to be cash only but take card now.VIP dish: General's Chicken - it's more savory and has tons of onions.Honorable mention: Beef & Broccoli or Special Lo Mein (all meats)If you get Shrimp fried rice, get it with extra green onions and a side of gravy.Parking: Probably some nails and glass in the parking lot. Good thing you're used to it in Detroit.“
“My experience was great when I arrived my food was ready and as soon as I open the bag, everything I needed was right inside and they double bagged my food. I ordered the beef and broccoli and the chicken fried rice. Everything was hot and my experience on the phone when ordering my food was so polite and it was the same when I walked in.“
“For the first time a Chinese restaurant that don't overcook the vegetables The food is axle I compliment the chef and everyone there.Vegetarian options: The Chinese mixed vegetables is axle that I really truly complement them all dude that makes your vegetables what makes it so interesting I never had Chinese mixed vegetables with miniature corn in it.“
“An OG hood classic. Everyone should have a place like this. This is the DEFINITION of cheap Asian food. They keep prices down and the food stays good. The restaurant and cuisine isn't the prettiest but everythings cheap, plentiful, and delicious. Never gotten sick or any negative effects from eating here, it's a win all around.“
“It's always been carry out even before COVID , so they never closed down. The boneless chicken has been my favorite for years ! You call it in and pick it up ! I love , love love it ! I always tip them ! They're closed on Monday.“
“My wife told me she wanted to go here and get some Chinese food. She said she used to go there when she was a kid she know I'm real particular about my Chinese food. I usually go the opposite way but we went there and I tried it. The food was excellent and they gave us. Huge portions it's enough food to eat for 3 days.“
“I went to top China One today I got my girlfriend the shrimp and broccoli and I got the general Tao's chicken with egg rolls and egg drop soup it was really good next week I'm going to go back and try something different I will let you know what I “
“I love this place it's been and forever a lil hidden jem they have lunch specials and the good is always good the lady who shared the phone she is always pleasant never had a bad attitude and no matter what your food is always 30 minutes max try them you won't regret it“
“Food was delicious! Lives up to the “best Chinese in midtown” quo! Everything was satisfying and the service was amazing! Will definitely be coming back here upon revisiting the city! If you’re a veggie lover I recommend the lettuce wraps! Also the dim sum is awesome! So much fun and variety! Lots of yummy things to try!!! 10/10Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options to choose from! You also have the option to make the curry dishes vegetarian as well. There were also some vegetarian options on the dim sum menu! As well as vegetarian sushi options!!“
