“We have dined for breakfast on various occasions. The tastes of the foods was amazing. The presentation of the plates was breath taking, absolutely beautiful. The only shortfall we found in the restaurant was the BLINDING sun on the East side windows. A good set of adjustable blinds would be a welcomed addition on those East side windows. All in all, the food was so good and so hot, the presentation was beautifully displayed and the staff were friendly and well experienced. We will come back and recommend restaurant to others.“

Because it's just the two of them when it gets busy it takes them awhile to answer the phone and there could be as much as a 30–45-minute wait for your food. It's also carry out only. If you don't mind the no dine in option or the wait, this will probably be one of the best Chinese food places you have eaten at in the downriver area.“

“I was honestly a little nervous walking into this hole-in-the-wall spot but you already know that usually means it’s about to be really good.

I ordered the sesame chicken lunch combo (about $9.15, cash only), and wow… everything was fresh and flavorful. This was my first time trying it since my usual spot was closed on a Monday, and I’m so glad I did. The chicken pieces were big, juicy, and real.. none of that weird fatty stuff.

The guy behind me said he’s been coming here since he was 5 years old, which says a lot.

Only reason for 4 stars is the shrimp fried rice only had about 3 pieces of shrimp, but it was still delicious regardless.

“We got take-out, the special dinner for two. The chop suey and the fried rice were the standouts, some of the best chop suey I've had and excellent mushroom fried rice. Service was quick and friendly. Bit dated interior, but also kinda cool in a retro way.“

Their combo dinners for 1 are really good value, and they give you the option to modify them from half-and-half to a full serving (ie lemon chicken) for their combos at no extra cost.
Take out is quick and most times ready a couple minutes before your pick up time so there's little to no waiting once you get there.“

“We were actually walking to a deferent Chinese restaurant but couldn’t find it, we stumbled across this place instead. Very happy we did, food was amazing and reasonably priced. Food is definitely cooked incredibly fresh, our food was piping hot. I got the feeling that is was a local spot, many people came in and out to order or pickup while we were in there. Only 2 things could have made this better, air as that kitchen definitely puts off a lot of heat and a table that was level, but to be fair it’s definitely not a place sit down to eat, more of a takeout spot.“

We ordered almond chicken, General Tso chicken, sweet/ sour chicken and sesame chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was all nice white meat and the sauces were fabulous. Egg rolls were yummy too.

“We had a great experience at Dan Dan Asian Restaurant. The pan-fried pork dumplings were fantastic, crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. The dirty noodles were also very good, and the California rolls hit the spot.
Service was excellent and fast, which made the visit enjoyable. The restaurant was clean and there was a fair amount of parking available. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the generous portions.

“This is my first visit to Mandarin Kitchen. I ordered #4 almond chicken combination with wonton soup and egg roll and hot tea. The almond chicken was pretty good topped with brown gravy. Wonton soup and egg roll was nice and hot and (egg roll was) crispy. 4 and 1/2 stars.“

“This new company is excellent the restaurant I remember the old restaurant and they had fallen but this new restaurant China House I oh my God the food is so delicious I did it in remembrance of my husband we used to come after we went grocery shopping and I thought I'd try out the new restaurant he is deceased now so I did a memorial in his behalf today and remember it's of him the food is fantastic fresh the vegetables are fresh the rice is fabulous the fried rice it's fluffy and well cooked I give 10 stars to the chef and the lady at the window was so kind and respectful I mean what a big change thank you the egg rolls were well cooked the egg drop soup sorry the wonton soup I never seen such large wontons and it was magnificent and the crunches that go in the soup we're excellent thank you so much I had a long day and I thought I'd stop and get egg rolls but I said no I'll get my dinner and Rememberance of my husband of 38 years and it is fantastic God bless you thank you and their service is fast and efficient and it's so clean in there is unbelievable and so much room and so much space“
