“I actually quite like the food here and have ordered many times. No issues with the taste👍

Just a suggestion though: I would recommend having more combo meal options as the ones on the menu are not very good. I don’t like chicken fried rice, I prefer noodles. I also don’t like to get the soft drinks or the spring/egg rolls either. I once asked if I could replace the rice with noodles because i didn’t want soft drink or the egg roll but i was told that it would still be an upcharge. Even though, it would actually level out the pricing. I just don’t want to order every single item alone. I wish that we could choose what we wanted instead. I go to Multifood and grab a huge container of food for 15$ that I could eat twice, and get whatever I want. Just don’t want to have to spend 40$ every time I eat here because I have to order everything I like separately. If there is a change I’ll definitely be back as I said the food itself tastes great, and I always am always pleased.“

Recently ordered for delivery, and a couple of small items were missing.

Even though it was a 45 min wait, they tried hard too delivery missing items within a suitable time frame, and included a bonus item.

This was my first time ever ordering something, and not having everything in the bag.(Like 19/20)

Their combo dinners for 1 are really good value, and they give you the option to modify them from half-and-half to a full serving (ie lemon chicken) for their combos at no extra cost.
Take out is quick and most times ready a couple minutes before your pick up time so there's little to no waiting once you get there.“

“This place is my newest favorite Chinese food spot in the Detroit area. It's not traditional Chinese food, it's the Chinese food I grew up with in my home town. The fried rice and lo mein have fresh ingredients and it isn't greesy just to be greesy. I'm particular about the noodles used in lo mein, this place has the right thickness of noodle. Their egg rolls are delicious, crunchy on the outside soft but cooked on the inside. Some places fill an egg roll too much, here they are just perfect. ABC chicken was all white meat, had fresh broccoli and two breaded breasts sliced with a side of gravy and fried rice. I'm excited I found a Chinese food place that has exactly what I want. Just keep in mind, your picking up food in a restaurant maybe 2 people are working in, so don't be impatient or disappointed they don't have tables to serve you at. Just be greatful 15 minutes was only 15 minutes.“

Parking: Other business in a complex that I also visit. Grocery store, Little Ceasars, Social security office and ladies get your nails ? done also there.

I usually go the opposite way but we went there and I tried it. The food was excellent and they gave us. Huge portions it's enough food to eat for 3 days.“

“We had a great experience at Dan Dan Asian Restaurant. The pan-fried pork dumplings were fantastic, crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. The dirty noodles were also very good, and the California rolls hit the spot.

The chicken was tender, juicy, and not covered with too much batter ,like other places , right amount of sauce 😋
Soup was very good ,, no mushy won ton inside, firm with good broth.!
Egg roll good as well..
House rice 🍚 fantastic , lots of shrimp. Chicken beef, very tasty

“This was my go to Chinese food back in the day when I lived in Detroit. Haven’t been able to get good Chinese food north of 8 mile in a while. Decided to drive to Detroit to check out Chan’s again. Almond chicken and shrimp fried rice, just like years ago. I had a hard time calling in to place an order, but finally got through with food ready in 15 min. Arrived and waited 45 min. Although irritated on the wait, was well worth the wait. Don’t forget the egg rolls. The best of the best. Highly recommended.“

“Small Chinese restaurant that no longer allows dining in so it is strictly take out now. I have been coming to this place for many years, but there has been ownership turnover. However, the food still seems to be consistently very good. My favorites are sesame chicken and spicy noodles. They have a good selection of egg rolls such as pork, chicken, etc. and they are of good quality and good taste.“
