I'm normally not one to complain, I merely make suggestions. I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken, Shrimp Fried Rice, and an egg roll for dinner this evening. The order was easy to place through GrubHub, and the delivery driver followed directions to the letter and was on time. Unfortunately, he dropped the food off on my porch and left without my tipping him; I never put tips on credit cards; I always pay cash when it comes to tipping. Anyway, everything was delicious; the only thing was the Sweet and Sour Chicken was a tad bit overcooked—it could have used two to three minutes less in the fryer. I was able to doctor it up by pouring the sweet and sour sauce over it and allowing it to soften. Next time I place an order, I'll simply ask if they could cook the chicken a little less. Lotus Pond has always been my family's go-to Chinese Restaurant since I can remember; my parents started taking me there when Mr. and Mrs. Kuey were the owners—that's how far back. Unfortunately, they passed away 10 years ago, but I still carry on the tradition. I get carryout from Lotus Pond; it's the best Chinese food in my book. Thank you!“

“The best Chinese food in metro Detroit! We go here at least once a month. The staff are super friendly and the service is insanely fast. As soon as you place your order, the food is on your table.
The portion sizes are great and will leave you with to-go boxes to take home. The Sichuan Cold Noodles and the Garlic Cucumber are must-orders.
Highly recommend eating in > take out based on service, portion size, and speed“

“Absolutely 5⭐️! It was my first time trying Wing Hing and I’m beyond impressed. Hands down the best Chinese food around! Everything was fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency. The portions are generous and everything I tried was amazing. On top of that, the owner was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back—highly recommend!“

“This was our first time eating here. We were immediately greeted when we walked in. There is a self ordering kiosk and we were offered the option to use the kiosk or to place our order with the restaurant staff. He was super helpful and patient. All of the food looked and tasted delicious. We also tried the Mango Green Tea with mango jelly.“

“Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and the quality was very good. But it wasnt spicy at all. My only issues were the brown rice that came with it was too small of a small portion and I needed more to go with the main dish. Extra rice was 6 bucks for another small bowl. I asked if they had Sriracha and they brought a small mini plate of it. I looked over the bill and they charged $1 for the Sriracha. Asked for a lil extra ginger and they added $2 for that. The server said there would be an extra charge for rice, but didnt mention anything extra for the ginger and Sriracha. I don't like being nickled and dimed for things that should be included, especially a sauce. Server was attentive and did a great job.“

First of all, this place is take out only, or at least was when I was there.
I got beef and broccoli and not only was it generous, but it was just that. No carrots or other filler.

“When I was younger I used to eat at a local Chinese Restaurant, hanging out with friends after school and eating there with my family. The food is exactly the same as I remember, delicious as ever. The restaurant in my town where I grew up has closed down a long time ago so coming here brings back childhood memories. Not only is the food at a great price but every bite holds memories.“

“I've ordered carry-out from May Hong before and it's always been amazing. It's ready when I've walked through the door and piping hot, plus tasty. A personal favorite is the Sesame Chicken. Egg rolls are also delicious!
However, a friend and I decided to dine in two weekends ago. There may have been a rush before us that had just left, but there was only a single clean table available, and one staff person handling all the orders and cleaning.
We ordered, and I waited half an hour--no exaggeration--for a bubble tea. I decided to try something new that night, the honey chicken. No real taste of honey to be found. Stick with the Sesame or Sweet & Sour Chicken since you can't go wrong with those.
Also, the booths? A group of people left behind me and new people came in. Every time someone moves behind you, you can feel it and it's quite jarring when you're trying to eat.
The staff person we dealt with tried her hardest, and she was very, very nice, just severely overworked.
May Hong is still worth ordering from for the food, but keep it to carry-out. Dining in isn't the best experience.“

“We have ordered from here quite a few times! Everything that we have tried so far is delicious! They are one of the few places you can sub lo mein for rice in a combo dinner. The General Tso is always great! My kids love the sweet and sour chicken and orange chicken. We recently tried the Hong Shui Gai and Moo Shui - both were great. I was a little bummed they served it with tortillas instead of the spring pancakes but it was still delicious! Hot mustard sauce is also a big hit in our house and has a the perfect level of spice!“

“The best Chinese in the state of Michigan . We used to live a couple of blocks down auburn rd and we would take out once a week. Now the last 5 years whenever the wife , kids and I want Chinese we have to drive 1/2 hour to get Pings . Really there is no eating at another Chinese place once you have one bite of their generous and delectable proportions . House made duck sauce and egg rolls are the best ever !“

“The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. It's wonderful to get a true representation of other cultures. I would eat here two to four times a month. The staff are nice, the menu has so many options. They have savory, slightly sweet options. I did mot have spicy this time but... I want to. They have a bar but I did not have anything but I would love to see what cocktails they have. They have a flavorful tea, I needed sugar but boyfriend had as is. The vegetables were amazing and the chicken feet were a new experience but I now know, enjoyed and plan on eating again. They have small plate offerings so great for families, meeting, get together, dates and more. It is pretty accessible. The parking lot is a little tricky but I have seen much worse and if you have a walking disability would say the sides of the entrance don't have as much of an angle. The bathrooms have enough room for a wheelchair. I would rate the bathroom 8/10. Chinese Broccoli was juicy, tender and flavorful, Dim sum was great, the dumpling/buns are both must haves and next time we go back I will want more of each.“
