“The best Chinese in the state of Michigan . We used to live a couple of blocks down auburn rd and we would take out once a week. Now the last 5 years whenever the wife , kids and I want Chinese we have to drive 1/2 hour to get Pings . Really there is no eating at another Chinese place once you have one bite of their generous and delectable proportions . House made duck sauce and egg rolls are the best ever !“

“Our family visits Michigan about once a year, and there’s one restaurant we always make sure to stop at — Asian Express! It’s seriously delicious. Not just good, but so amazing that once you taste it, you can’t stop thinking about it.

The dish we never skip is the spicy fried fish. We always order two servings haha. I’ve never heard of or tasted anything like it before. Every bite is a flavor that can’t be imitated, strangely addictive and unforgettable.

And the sweet and sour pork! It comes out freshly fried, crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside, not overly sweet. Every bite makes you go “Wow~”.

The stir-fried squid is huge, too. We usually save some leftover sauce and mix it with rice for another meal — and it’s still unbelievably tasty. Our whole family keeps exclaiming how good it is while eating.

We also can’t skip the dumplings and shrimp fried rice. The dumplings are crispy outside and juicy inside, and the shrimp fried rice has such amazing flavor. Even with five of us eating, we kept going “Wow, wow” the whole time haha.

The parking lot is spacious, but the dining area inside is a bit small. That’s why we usually go around 4 PM when it’s less crowded. That way we can enjoy our meal comfortably.

Most of all, the owner is incredibly kind. Even though we only come once a year, she remembers us and sometimes gives us free rice or dumplings — it’s really touching. Last year, during our five-day stay, we went twice, so there’s no reason not to go haha. Honestly, we’re even thinking about going again tomorrow.

If you don’t go, you’ll regret it. Our family absolutely recommends this place. Once you taste it, you’ll keep thinking about it — it’s a must-visit when you’re in Michigan!“

It’s understandable that people get things wrong sometimes but Panda has no way to correct things like this; I messaged the help option on the app days ago but I have gotten no message back. Tragically, I have a peanut allergy and absolutely love Chinese food. Sometimes I will go into a restaurant to ask if my allergy can be accommodated and the answer is no, which is fine! I appreciate the honesty! I was worried that might be the case here but it wasn't!

I ordered orange chicken (which is safe) and asked about the roast pork lo mein. The woman at the counter informed me that all their lo mein has peanut butter, BUT she could make it without if I wanted it. I was kind of surprised and was already prepared to order something else as a side just in case, but I took her up on the offer because I love lo mein!!! She noted my allergy on the receipt. Although I do not understand Chinese, I 100% know I heard her say something to the kitchen about an allergy/allergen as the food was being prepared.

Non-allergy related stuff: the food was delicious and the portions are generous. It was my first time having anything other than veggies in lo mein (I don't deviate my Chinese orders much due to food allergies) and I loved the pork in there! I am excited to have leftovers for the next few days! My boyfriend ordered General Tso's chicken and although we got it to go, he started eating it in the car before we drove off because it smelled so good lol.“

Ordered the crispy pork and roasted duck. I would imagine that eating while everything’s hot would be so much better, but the pork was a little dry with skins that weren’t crispy; however, the duck even when cold was delicious. Usually the ducks I’ve had in Chinese BBQ can be very salty, but this one was a good balance of sweet savory combination. It was tender and fatty, and the skin has a good flavor to it too. Definitely would recommend the roasted duck.“

“One of the best Roast Duck, Roast Pig spot here in Madison Heights. I drive from Lansing just to come pick up roast duck or both when I really wants some or when I'm in the area I always stop by.
They also sell other meat there including cuttlefish, pig ears etc. its a small spot only for pick up and go. Price went up like everything else but cheaper then the one in Grand Rapid. I highly recommend. They only take cash.“

“Idk why this location is rated 3.5 stars it is the best panda express. Food is always fresh and good the employees are all very kind and have awesome personalities. They never have an issue fufiling a special request or making things right if need be and are never mean if you have issues on your end once my card was being weird about processing and they were really kind and patient about it. I come here multiple times per week they have a good selection of both delicious and healthy options for someone on the go working across the street at the hospital like me.“

“Stop by there Wednesday January 7th. 2026 at 9:15 p.m. I went to this location because the other location on Gratiot and Roseville in MI couldn't make me any super greens at 5 minutes to 9:00 p.m., closing time for this location is 10:00 p.m. I drove to the Sterling heights Van Dyke location near 16 Mile and arrived there at 9:15 p.m. and they set me up with a warm plate of super greens along with the rest of my order. It took them less than 2 1/2 minutes to produce fresh super greens. The question in my mind is if super greens is a side item along with chow, mein or rice and the Roseville location was running low on both of those. How were they going to service the rest of the customers for the next hour without any side items available for their entree item?“
