“The best Chinese in the state of Michigan . We used to live a couple of blocks down auburn rd and we would take out once a week. Now the last 5 years whenever the wife , kids and I want Chinese we have to drive 1/2 hour to get Pings . Really there is no eating at another Chinese place once you have one bite of their generous and delectable proportions . House made duck sauce and egg rolls are the best ever !“

“I really enjoyed the general tso lunch special! The chicken was nice and crispy chicken and the portion was plentiful that came with fried rice and a spring roll. The best part is they are halal certified and when we called the supplier they confirmed they are also hand slaughtered halal. The owner was so sweet and kind. Will definitely be coming back.“

“The experience at the location in Detroit dis not start off well due to a disrespectful, angry, short tempered hostess. When we did not want the seating she was trying to give us and preferred to wait. She shouted out multiple times that she could guarantee it would be 15 to 20 minutes and no sooner. She asked me for my name in a raised tone when I told her clearly she exhaled and asked it again. The Manger was called and took care of everything. The server James made our out of town experience the best it ould be and I personally thank him.“

“We came in for a date night. We have been very stressed as our wedding is 70 days away and he thought this would be a nice break away from planning and family obligations. DJ was our server, she was hands down the best. She joked with us and was very knowledgeable about the menu and drink choices. My fiancé even asked her to keep our food warm while I went outside to handle a phone call from our children. DJ was very attentive, you could tell she had experience. “I'm working out of town in Troy, MI and stopped to get dinner on the way back to the hotel and I'm glad I did. I ordered the almond chicken dinner combo, it came with fried rice and an egg roll, I also ordered some crab rangoon. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! And there was a lot of it! “Authentic Chinese food, authentic Sichuan cuisine. Is it the best out there, probably not, but better than a lot of other popular Chinese restaurant in metro Detroit. The have American Chinese food items too so everyone can enjoy what they like. Food is great, everything we order is on point, except for the dried fish. I think if the stove is hotter and the pan has a higher temperature, the fish and the spices (garlic, chillis) will be less soggy.“

“Came here twice this week I've been meaning to try this place for some time! I had a failed meal prep and didn't have much time so this place definitely fit the bill. They were a little over the time that they quoted for pick up which was 20 minutes but that's OK because I'd rather my food be hot and still being cooked and sitting there getting cold for time passing. The staff is very friendly. I don't know why people have been saying they aren't. The place is a little bit older but what can you expect? It's a great Chinese place. You're there for the food not the decor and also it's pretty much a carryout place considering there is only a couple tables to begin with Not really much of a dining room. I had ordered beef egg, foo young lunch portion for both days and both portions were the same and cooked with fresh ingredients. The portions are massive even for lunch. I do recommend coming in and ordering instead of using all the apps you can save some money there. Looking forward to making my regular Chinese spot when I am getting carry out at work. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu.“

“I love the Gung Bo Shrimp. My brother first discovered this place back in the 1990s. My girlfriend likes the food too and often orders beef fried rice, which she likes. Very friendly people there, but I think I've only eaten there in person twice, so I gave a three stars for atmosphere. I am just neutral on the atmosphere because I don't have much experience.“

“Moved to Pontiac and this is just down the street from me. Ordered General Tso chicken and for $11 I got like 2 lbs. in a big white Styrofoam box (packed) They do NOT skimp on the portions and the Pork fried rice was amazing and the Egg drop soup was also good. I have their menu on my refrigerator and plan on ordering almost everything on the menu before the year is out.“

The girl who took my order was friendly and helpful.
The place was very clean.
The order came out quick , it was hot and packaged nicely.
I got the Cashew Chicken lunch combo and it was really good , plenty of chicken, vegetables and cashews.
Came with a large serving of fried rice and a very tasty egg roll with sweet and sour sauce on the side .
The serving size of this meal was big , plenty for lunch with some left over and it only cost $ 8.85 which is amazing for the quality and quantity.

“I have been looking for an actual "good" Chinese take out. As most Chinese in the Royal oak, Ferndale, Oak park area are bellow average bland Chinese. I got word that Madison heights has some great Chinese spots so I gave Chao Zhou a chance and I was immediately hooked. You can taste the quality in this food.

Chao Zhou sticks out from the rest and is something I can definitely recommend people try. Probably the best General Tao's chicken I've had in a long time. The Singapore noodles was another stand out option that I also loved.

“I have been a customer for 30 years. One of my childhood friends can walk in the door and the lady will yell almond boneless chicken! You want some really good food try the mongolian beef! it is off that charts. My girl loves there hot n sour soup. Says it is the best around. I hate the way it looks but it is good! just wanted to give a thumbs up. Good people, great place....“

I recently visited this restaurant, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The food is authentic, fresh, and healthy, which is so hard to find these days. Every dish reminded me of the flavors and warmth of home back in China. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the dishes are made with care and attention to detail. “Food came out REALLY fast and was delicious. We dined in but witnessed a LOT of call-in order pickups. The woman running the front counter also speaks Spanish! We sat next to a group of guys that said they eat here 3-4 times a week. Atmosphere isn't much but the place I clean!“

As a recommendation, each order comes with an additional order of white rice, if there are only 2 people, do not order the white rice, make the comment so the food is not lost ❤️“
