“Imo they are the best Chinese restaurant left. China jade was sold to New people, East Ocean is not the same quality. i never liked the take out place by kroger. But their food here is always the same. They give good portion sizes. Still use bean sprouts in their eggs rolls, still put bok choy in their won ton soup, they put veggies with their sweet and sour chicken. Great service. It's hot and made right. They make their food how they always have and haven't cheapened their food up like similar restaurants in the area did.“

“This is an excellent spot to stop and eat. The buffet is still reasonably priced and the wait staff is always friendly and courteous. The men's bathroom could use some improvement. The restaurant is clean. Great place for large groups. Good variety of food to choose from.“

“Surprisingly good for such a small place. I especially like the hot & sour soup. Seems like every place makes it a little different, some good, others, not so much. Their version is awesome. Also, the pad Thai - very tasty.“

“I order two dinners and crab rangoons. I definitely would order sweet and sour chicken again. Almond chicken was good but didn’t care for gravy they had. But I would never order crab rangoons from here again, they were horrible all you taste is onions“

“Ok, complete review edit. This used to be the best around, then it took a bad dive once the first owner left. Now I decided to try it again. It's been years now since i last was in there. So I'm so so glad I did. Please, everyone who used to love going there, please try them again its so much better, almost like it used to be. I'm so glad I tried it again. I'm telling everyone to go back. It's worth it the food is back its great the prices are still the best and the place is finally clean and no bad smell anymore. Please, everyone, give it another chance. im so glad I did. Thank you. For bringing this place back, I have missed it dearly.“

“We had a power outage in the area, and this was the only Chinese open in Waterford. We came 30 minutes before closing, and the owners were very nice and went above and beyond for us. Being vegan, they made accommodations for me.
I ordered the veggie lo mein, and the portion size was huge. The flavor was pleasant but could have used a little more garlic and spices. There were no dinner combination options that came with fried rice and egg roll or soup. I ate my fill, and had enough to last me for a late night snack and lunch the next day.
My partner ordered either Sesame or General Tsau Chicken, and it came with white rice. He said the flavor was good and portion Very Generous. We both ordered veggie egg rolls a la carte and pop. The spring/ egg rolls were a bit too sweet, and the plum sauce was pale yellow instead of classic orange. I would not get those again.
My boyfriend devoured the chicken dish and still had leftovers!!!
The owners let us sit there and eat from the carry out containers, and told us to take our time. It was very nice and friendly.
I later noticed that they had Tofu stir fries available which I overlooked. I think I would have been better off with one of those.
Our total was over $30, like 34-37-- including the drinks. Usually we pay $20-36 dollars and we order combination plates.
I would possibly order from them again but would specify preference for more garlic and spices for my vegan options.
The fact that the owners were so nice and accommodating, letting us sit there and eat after closing, and having to cook my complicated Veg option after a long day tells me that they take pride in their restaurant, and would go above and beyond to accommodate any future modifications“

“Moved to Pontiac and this is just down the street from me. Ordered General Tso chicken and for $11 I got like 2 lbs. in a big white Styrofoam box (packed) They do NOT skimp on the portions and the Pork fried rice was amazing and the Egg drop soup was also good. I have their menu on my refrigerator and plan on ordering almost everything on the menu before the year is out.“

“Great tasting and affordable Chinese. The new management has really made a difference. We ordered the Almond Boneless Chicken dinner and not only was it delicately battered & delicious, but there was ample portion for both my lovely lady and I, as well as a leftover piece for midnight.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Taste of Home!
I recently visited this restaurant, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The food is authentic, fresh, and healthy, which is so hard to find these days. Every dish reminded me of the flavors and warmth of home back in China. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the dishes are made with care and attention to detail. From the rich flavors to the comforting atmosphere, this place is an absolute gem. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone craving real, wholesome Chinese food. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Thank you D and G.
Vegetarian options: Lots of mixed veggies

“First time here and it was very good. Being a native metro Detroiter I recall the days of fabulous almond boneless chicken (ABC) from one particular restaurant. 30+ years later, I’m still searching for that taste. This place is pretty darn close. The lunch combo portion was huge, more than enough for two very generous servings. In fact when I picked up the order the bag was so heavy I checked inside to be sure I had gotten the right order. The chicken was tender and breading crisp despite my not eating it for 45 minutes after picking it up. The gravy is the a bit salty neon yellow I recall. The fried rice with a few bean sprouts mixed in was equally good. I did not care for the eggroll, but its importance was marginal. The place is primarily carryout, although they have a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your food. My order was ready promptly. So if you’re one of those metro Detroiters looking to satisfy“

“I've been coming here since I lived in Walled Lake. The food is absolutely amazing, and I highly recommend the almond chicken. The people there are very kind, and the atmosphere is amazing. The sushi is absolutely delicious and makes my mouth melt. This is some of the best asian food I've ever had. I recommend this place“

“This is our favorite when we want carryout Chinese food!
The food is well prepared. Good portion sizes. Quick and efficient service—they text you when your order is ready, which is convenient!
We’ve ordered a few different foods from this restaurant and we’ve enjoyed all of them. My favorite is the Pineapple Chicken.
It’s not luxury dining, but it’s a great option when you don’t want to cook and would just like a quick and easy, good meal. We spent about $30 for an entree, a combo meal, and a shrimp roll. There was more than enough food for my family of four.“

“Let me start by saying the lady that owns this restaurant was there by herself at the time I went to order some food from wing hing. She cooked that food so good ? I told everyone about it. It's so flavorful in every bite. Everything was cooked to perfection. She needs an award for best Chinese restaurant in Michigan. I live far from Pontiac but I wouldn't mind taking a trip when I'm in the mood for some good Chinese food. Thumbs up to this woman for working alone that day with a waiting area full of hungry customers she was definitely getting the job done.“

“Love this place. When I use to Live in Jersey City NJ, did we have better and more authentic Chinese. Yea, but this place excels in the type of food they serve. I've only had it around 10, for the normal quick Chinese spot, this place us great. They don't skimp on protein that's for sure. I have had a hell of a lot worse. This placebos a 10 for me.“

“This is our favorite takeout Chinese restaurant in Clarkston. They do a great job at cooking the food as requested (veggies cooked through) and have some gluten-free options. They work with you and will substitute chicken without the breading when requested. We will be ordering from them on Christmas - our tradition.“

“The chicken absolutely slaps. Friendly front of house, mixed with an absolutely wild and pleasant amount of food was worth the 5 stars. Parking and location are the only negatives I could think of. When I think “Chinese takeout”, this hits the mark.“
