“お食事ありがとうございました! This is by far the BEST Japanese food I've ever has in my life. We walk in, they tell us to pick a table. No wait, no nothing. Almost immediately the waitress gets our drinks and gives us time to order. 10 minutes go by, but we have some soup. She brings out our dishes and holy mother of pearls.

It was DELECTABLE. I got the Kake Udon, hibachi shrimp, hibachi filet mignon and the bento box to share.

The udon noodles were delicious. They not only used the rich, flavorful miso broth, but they added yummy greens in them too.

The shrimp tempura? Perfection. The california rolls were so fresh, and for once it didnt have that store bought taste.

Dont even get me started on the hibachi shrimp and filet mignon. The filet mignon was well done yet so perfect. Tender, flavorful. The vegetables? It was competing with the steak. It was so good. The shrimp was amazing.

Overall, we came here thinking it'd be some mediocre Japanese spot, but it turned out to be the best ive had in Michigan. LLL FOOD¤☆”

Obviously the famous dill pickle pizza is amazing but I also regularly get the chicken parmesan, which has a pasta sauce base and spaghetti noodles under the cheese! I've never seen something like that at any other pizza place. The pretzel pizza with pretzel crust and a nacho cheese base is another fun one to try. The staff is always super friendly and efficient when I go in for pickup. The food is always hot and fresh with quality toppings. Makes for great leftovers. It's dangerous how close I live lol.”

We've had many good personal dining experiences with the Dixie Diner, so when we needed 150 piece chicken order for Mother's Day, and I knew they had chicken "buckets" on the menu, I gave them a call. We had a dilemma, though. Several of the mothers wanted non-breaded chicken, rather than the amazing broasted chicken Dixie Diner is known for (if you haven't tried it yet, it's a must do!). Long story short, Dixie Diner agreed to make 50 pieces of baked chicken - and it's not even on the menu! The ladies were blown away. We got so many compliments on it, I had to try it personally. It was absolutely delicious! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked! Calling it amazing doesn't do it justice. HIGHEST compliments to the chef! On top of that, the service was top notch. The waitress cheerfully helped me carry five trays of piping hot chicken clear to the opposite side of the parking lot without a single complaint, and still smiling when we got there. I wish I would have gotten her name so I could thank her personally. Needless to say, this is our new go-to for our special events! Thank you SO MUCH, Dixie Diner, for making all of our Mothers feel so special. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”

“Had carry out for the first time since the new ownership. Sadly, a little disappointed. I ordered the the Zip Sauce Alfredo with chicken .It was really good! However, it didn't have much chicken in it at all the the garlic bread that it came with was soggy. My wife got the "Double Fajitas" with steak and chicken. The steak was pretty bland and there was barely enough meat for 3 small fajitas. My oldest daughter got the Enchilada Dinner and really enjoyed it. Great flavor! My Youngest Daughter got pancakes and bacon. Unfortunately, they bacon was a bit undercooked and rubbery and they forgot the syrup. We love to support local business and We have gone to the restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. So I am hoping this is just some of the early "bumps and bruises".”

“L.A. Cafe is a quirky little coffee shop that also offers breakfast and lunch. I've had their dark roast coffee as well as their chili nachos, and they did a nice job with both endeavors. Their menu and their indoor seating are somewhat limited, but that doesn't seem to create any problems, at least not on weekday mornings. I really enjoyed speaking to the young lady who works as their hostess/server; she smiles a lot and can hold her own in any engaging conversation. All in all, it's really good to see this alt oasis doing so well in a sea of regressive minds.”

“Red Wood Grill is an underrated gem in the Waterford area. Solid service with good quality food. A bar and dining area with great atmosphere and decor. The brisket egg rolls are super creative and phenomenal. What was most impressive was the relatively low price especially for barbecue. Also, an added bonus that we found attractive was the amazing smell throughout the whole restaurant as the smoker was right out front and in plain smelling and viewing distance!”

“Came up from Ohio to visit our Michigan friends, and here is where they took us to eat. I wasn't sure what to expect but it started out with an incredible welcome by a server named Vanessa. I ordered the bourbon bacon cheeseburger I think is what it was called the hamburger with beer cheese and bacon and caramelized onions. First of all it was absolutely huge! Second I have never had a better tasting hamburger in my entire life! And I've been to quite a few places, this beats it hands down! all four of us were absolutely blown Away! We're headed back up soon and that is where we will be eating dinner, and we will be asking to sit in Vanessa's section. Vanessa was amazing with us and all our little nuances and what we wanted and what we didn't want, she was just simply amazing! she's exactly what a server should be like! She absolutely deserves a raise! I look forward to seeing y'all here in the next couple months!”

The coffee menu has good choices. The Waterford location is my closest location so it is always clean and the drive thru is spacious. One suggestion though, maybe invest in a new sign out front, the current plastic could use a good cleaning or replacement.”

“Im not gonna sugar coat it, this pizzeria is the most consistent quality pizza I have ever had. From jets to hungry howies to cottage Inn these places do not match the consistent quality of this specific store. On top of that it doesnt cost 20 dollars just to get 3 toppings on the pizza. I can feed 4 adults with a medium pizza 2 toppings a dozen of breadsticks with sauce and still wouldn't have to pay more than 20 dollars, if you are sick of paying 25 plus for a Luke warm hour old pizza from a multimillion dollar company, order here.”

“I went to Time Out on a Friday night around midnight in search of some late night grub. It seemed as if this was the only place open in Waterford! I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well. About 30 people came in not too long after me and atmosphere livened up considerably. The Time Out is definitely a vibe! Oh yeah, I don't drink, but I can vouch for the Coca-Cola tasting good, too ?”

“We ate there on Sunday, March 1. While the became busy, the service NEVER lacked. Our service was excellent. She was so pleasant, accommodating, helpful and happy. The food was also great. Mom wanted some traditional Chinese food with bean sprouts and our waitress helped mom find a number of options that gave her the vegetables she wanted. She was also very accommodating for our 3.5 year old grandson- she gave him special treats. My husband said we were at Wing Lauk about 13 years ago but began to goto another restaurant that was closer, but not as good. We will definitely be coming back here when we want Chinese cuisine.”
