I have ordered from Scalzo's a number of times in the past two months. Always a good experience. Last weekend, I ordered an extra large pizza for an impromptu gathering ... the box was so big, I had to open my hatchback to fit it in the car and my guests raved about the quality and quantity of the topping.
Nicholas makes the best pizza in Waterford hands down. Very friendly and my new favorite pizza place
Ordered a basic pepperoni pizza. It was pretty ok but the pepperoni was way too greasy and salty, a bit overpriced too for what it was. The meatball sub was really solid though. I’ll try one of their signature pizzas next time.

Based on the reviews, Scalzo's Pizzeria & Bakery is a local spot that offers great customer service and food. The crust is absolutely perfect, airy, and cooked to perfection. Customers love the Mac and cheese pizza and the Burger with perfect pickles. The pineapple specialty and sausage and pepperoni pizza are also great, with extra fried wing that were on point. The best breadsticks by far are also a highlight. Employees talk with customers like real people. While one order had raw pizza dough, the issue was fixed with a partial refund and an apology, and the rest of the meal was perfect. Ordering online is easy, and the restaurant out does the likes of MIKE'S, Calabreses, and Sir Pizza. It is a new go to spot that just don't miss.
