“Well besides the nice people being at the counter, the store was clean and well lit. Now the food was so damn good I couldn't believe it. I am glad it was Monday night and they were the only ones open. Thank you Almond chicken was awesome and was done right. Sweat and sour chicken was most wholesome and delicious. The dragon roll was an attack on the senses but damn man! Most rewarding to the taste buds. We will be back!!“
“We have a gluten allergy and a peanut allergy in our household. Thai Legend was very careful with our allergies and it was amazing to feel well taken care of. Also the food was delicious!!Dietary restrictions: Very safe with our gluten and peanut allergies“
“This place has become my favorite Asian cuisine restaurant, especially in Pontiac, maybe of Metro Detroit. It's a small establishment that does not look very impressive, especially from the outside, but the food has been fantastic. So far I have tried their Chinese and Thai foods, all have been some of the best I've tried, but their crab rangoons are easily the best I've ever had. I would return for those alone, but I'm excited to try new things each time. Their orange chicken is one of the best I've had too. Their pad thai is very good, but I have had others that are probably even tastier. Still, I'm sure their other dishes are amazing. I hope other will find this hidden gem and help to keep them in business! I want to keep trying their food for years to come! I may update this after I have tried more dishes, especially the pho, the bowls of it I have seen were huge and looked and smelled incredible. Oh! And the Thai tea and coffee are very good, very sweet though. And prices are very good and reasonable! Especially for the portion sizes.I should also mention the work staff! Usually seems like there is one waiter and one cook, but they are quick and polite. Not overly friendly or talkative, but their English is pretty good and they were easy to order with and open to some substitutions when asked, which was greatly appreciated.Vegetarian options: There may have been a few labeled vegetarian dishes, but many of the dishes could easily be had and enjoyed without any meat.Parking: Open lot with plenty of parking spaces, maybe not in the best shape, but no issues.“
“I LOVE BK Sushi!!! I'm def a regular here because I live in the neighborhood but if I ever move away, I'd drive! Everything on the menu is excellent. I eat vegan and the cooks are happy to remove dairy and sub for coconut milk on any veg dish. Their sushi is great too although I haven't had it in a while. Staff is super kind, I think it might be a family business because there's sometimes kids running around which I find adorable. The restaurant itself is a takeout place, there aren't tables to eat even if you wanted to. That's okay though, i think it's better enjoyed at home!“
“Update.I’ve eaten here a good amount of times and tried a lot of their other dishes. I haven’t been able to consistently take photos so will add more in the future:- Pad Thai, Pho, Gang Gai, Pineapple Fried Rice: Easily 5/5 and consistent in taste.- Thai spicy wings . Not crispy and too drenched in the sauce.- Yum E Shan Salad, Chicken Laab . Both salads taste similar and not worth reordering… Heads up to ask for sauce on side to avoid saucy greens.Gangpah . Barely any meat. Sauce is pretty much soup. Lemongrass is overbearing.Restaurant . Well organized, clean bathrooms and kitchen.“
“I love it her the food warms my heart. I dance every time I go. The Thai tea is amazing. I was just telling my mom I want another. Service can be better I’ve had a time or two where I got the wrong dish. However the dish was good so I didn’t complain. Just pay more attention when we call pass that keep doing y’all. I love it.“
“Bangkok Thai is definitely my new favorite Thai place! Their curry noodles are packed with flavor and spice and the shrimp were plump and cooked to perfection. We also had the most amazing orange chicken that remained crispy while covered in a flavor-packed sauce. Lastly, we had the Pad Thai and this dish is better than any I’ve ever had! This was a 10/10 for our family and we will be back soon!!“
“I found this restaurant by chance. I placed an online order with this restaurant, Thai Taste To Go, thinking I was ordering at the Thai restaurant we normally order from. Turned out to be a wonderful mistake. We order from here now almost weekly. Food is delicious and generous portions. My wife has celiac and they prepare gluten free, no cross contamination. Highly suggest fried rice, basil fried rice and red coconut curry.“
“These folks understand proper Wok cooking. For those not familiar with it, “wok hei” refers to the smoke induction when using a high heat pan. Literally “breath of the wok.”There is no place in southeast Michigan that does it better or more appropriately. I don’t know what the cook’s name is but he deserves a medal.“
“This is an awesome Thai restraunt. One of the best in the Highland area. The me u serves all the dishes you would expect from a Thai restraunt and the appetizers and soups are very good and are served in really good portion sizes. They have great lunch and dinner options, and the Thai iced tea is awesome! They are always super busy with carry-out and the restraunt is a nice atmosphere and a great place to bring the family and dates. I love the Pepper Steak and Pad Prik.“
“Was not my first choice for Thai but was glad as heck to stop in.Attentive waitress and knew what she was doing. Food was very good and the place was clean. We each had the Drunken Noodles with Chicken, medium plus on the spicy side and Pad See-Ew also the same way, both were exceptional. Big note here, while moderately busy we didn't have to wait and that is so important.Job well done“
“Nice take out place! Worker was super nice and food was good! Rolls are a little smaller than what I’m used to but cheap enough that I can order two. I got a ginger salad, which was huge for price. The website kind of sucks, if you have any customization, I recommend calling to place the order.“
“This has been our favorite Thai place since 2019. We go there every week pr every other week. We love it! All dishes are light meals and a perfect meal for lunch. I never have the feeling that I overate or the food is heavy on my stomach. You can put your ingredients together however you’d like to. Pad Thai with glass noodles, mild and extra sauce is my favorite. Soooo good!!! Because of the pandemic they changed the style of the restaurants from ceramic dishes to paper, but what never changed was the high quality of the food and the good service of the staff. I highly recommend this place.“
“Updated review due to new name and ownership. ? Fast, friendly service. Hot and sour soup was good. Thai tea was delicious! Drunken noodles were yummy, but for like $15+ it only had 2 broccoli ? and just a couple mushrooms (I substitute them for the peppers) so that was disappointing. The spring rolls were so fresh, crisp, and hot... it was outstanding! My only issue here is with the atmosphere... they had drain flies buzzing around me and hanging out on the wall next to us while I was trying to eat, this was extremely annoying and gross. Gnats are usually smaller, these were bigger and fuzzy. The restaurant smelled intensely like bleach so I'm assuming they're trying to get rid of this issue.“
“If I can give more than 5 stars I would give 10 stars!!!We ordered Kow and Lomein. Everything was seasoned perfectly and super delicious!Atmosphere was also so nice! And we had complimentary ice cream after our dinner! This place is hidden gem!!Thank you to the chef and everyone who works at this place and makes it beautiful. :)“
“Really lovely place! The food came out fast and everything was affordable and delicious, especially the lunch deal. Medium spice level was actually perfectly medium spicy ❤️? Also love that you can order a small size soup. Thai iced tea was tall and creamy and delicious. The inside of the place is also really cute and clean. Would come back again :)Vegetarian options: You can get tofu as the protein in most dishes!“
