“The new owners have improved the interior and it is now open on weekends, which is nice. They now encourage you to use an app instead of calling in orders, which charges an extra fee. “Went here because it's the only thai place around with beer. Started with the Shrimp Rolls. Not what I expected. Awesome jumbo tail-on shrimp wrapped up with ground pork and spices. Yum. Followed with Gang Gai, chicken, medium. They give a pretty serious medium here. I was worried it would be milder. No worries there. Needed a 2nd beer. Again, yum!
Only knock: no soup with dinner? Only thai place I've been to where they don't give a cup of soup with dinner. Most give with lunch as well.“

Ordered their Pad Thai, when it was served, I saw beef cooked in Pad Thai sauce on top of pre-cooked noodles, was a bit wondering when I have my first bite, but you know what, it tasted pretty good, though without the heat of stir fried, but it has its own unique taste in the good way.“

“We are regular customers at Sawasdee Thai Restaurant. Came in for lunch or dinner multiple times.

We would often order the drunken noodles in mild level spice with shrimp and extra fried tofu. Like the texture of the noodles and the savory flavor of the sauce.

Also Love to order their crispy but not oily spring rolls, 2 pieces for $5. We also tried the $8 chicken roll - my opinion was that is was overpriced but tasted good with the sweet and sticky dipping sauce.

Tried their red and potato curry options. They put a lot of sauce but a few ounces of meat on the dish. We usually order extra vegetables or protein to balance the ratio of their sauce to the meat. Still we end up going home with take away sauce after dining in.

Thai iced tea is also good.

Background music in Thai. Dining area has limited number of tables and chairs for dining in. Reservations is not needed except if you are planning to have a company group lunch or dinner, better call ahead to give them time to cater to your needs. Not ideal to bring pets because of the limited space.

Prices had gone up but their food portions remain the same. If they ask you how spicy and you answer mild … the food will still be flavored up a notch spicy.

“Ordered the tofu basil fried rice. The medium spice was truly medium (to me), and I liked how they used full basil leaves instead of just basil seasoning. The cold cucumber slices were also a nice addition, as it has a nice cold refreshing contrast to the hot rice, and helps cut down on that spiciness that starts to build after a while. I also felt the portion size to lunch price was fair. Customer service was friendly, as well.“
