“Excellent Thai food, professionally, prepared one of the few Thai restaurants, you can get papaya salad, which is phenomenal, very spicy even if you order medium it has a good amount of spice so be careful. I’ve had almost anything on the menu, but the yellow curry and green curry are phenomenal. Their service is great. They have two waitresses at all times never have to wait too long. Highly recommend to any family and friends“
“The food tasted great! My only problem is I think the oil they used may have been old. If not for that, I would've given them 5☆. However, as good as the food was, I would definitely consider them a dinner option. The service was great! The staff were friendly! If you're in Southfield, Michigan, give them a try.“
“These folks charged me $14.70 for the lunch Pad Thai with shrimp and it had exactly 6pcs of shrimp in the noodles! But barely any green onion. I literally drove 30 mins in my lunch bc the website looked appetizing. Pad Thai sauce tasted good.“
“These my ppls!! They go above and beyond every time! Like most restaurants, they have their bad experiences & customers; but overall they wear GLOVES all the time, I’ve never got a hair in my food, if they mess up they are cool about fixing or reimbursing me. I just know there so humble and awesome. Lunch specials are amazing, dinner portions are larger! I jus love this place, for lunch, dinner, snack to split with someone , it’s all great!!“
“Wow. Tbh I was a little skeptical bc good Thai food can be hard to come by these days, but Saab Sis Thai is a keeper:- Generous portions.- Reasonable prices.- Great balance of flavors (Just a reminder that Thai medium can be quite spicy haha). In particular, the grilled tilapia was great! (Pro tip: kindly ask for a reheat and they will refry the other side so both sides are crispy.) The balance between the fish and the sauce was ?.The papaya salad Laos style with the crab was a great accompaniment to the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai entrees we ordered. The service and vibe was also on point. Keep in mind the place isn’t that big, so if you’re coming with a party of 4+ you might want to call ahead.Looking forward to coming back again!Edit: Came back again to make sure the first time wasn’t a fluke. It wasn’t haha. The pad see ew might be the best I’ve ever had. I found that “mild +” is the right spice level for me. The papaya salad + fried tilapia is the perfect combo for a flavor bomb with a cacophony of textures. We will be back again!“
“Best Thai meal at a restaurant I’ve had. Sensational. This place is worth the drive. I see a lot of reviews about small plates. That’s probably if you do the taste testing option. My daughter and I each ordered our own meal and the proportions were large enough to bring leftovers home. The flavors are incredible. They are deep and layered, and have the perfect spice. My daughter had the Jungle Mussels. The broth could be a meal on its own with the garlic toast to dip in it. The chicken curry (KHAO SOI ) was also the most flavorful version I’ve had. My only pause was the whole drumstick. I would have preferred smaller pieces in the broth than picking apart the chicken off the bone. The Coconut pan cake appetizer was fun and different. So delicious. My daughter had the non-alcoholic blackberry and cardamom tea. I had the Special Thai tea with rum. Both were delicious and complimented the meal well.My daughter was treated with a desert of coconut ice cream with a crumble topping and sauce. Was so good, no other ice cream desert could compare. The service was attentive and had a menu prepared for us to indicate the allergens we needed to avoid. The atmosphere was laid back and casual and tastefully decorated in a fun, modern and crisp way. Can’t wait to go back.“
“As a Thai American, I don’t usually eat at Thai restaurants in Michigan because many places don’t make authentic Thai food. I now have a place I can order all of my favorite Thai dishes, and all of the flavors are on point. The fried rice and pad Thai taste just like they do in Bangkok, and pad khing tastes like how my mom would cook it for me. They truly care about good food here, and I will be going back soon!“
“We work down the road and were looking for a new Thai place to get lunch from. Food was ready quickly and was absolutely amazing! The chicken was really tender and not rubbery like you get at some places. Veggies were fresh and the sauce wasn't overly salty. We can not wait to order takeout again. The inside is adorable and cozy, I can't wait to dine in with my husband as well.“
“Really great, flavorful Thai food! The dine in space is cute, and the service was great! Everyone was so friendly. I ordered the Bangkok fried rice, medium spice. It was a huge portion, and they were not shy on the shrimp and chicken. I also ordered the tofu tod which was also really good. I would definitely come back!Vegetarian options: Everything can be made vegetarian“
“This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants. This is a family business and Kai is one of the reasons I continue to come back. She knows I continue to order the same thing. Kai asked if I was going to select and new dish for the new year.....ummmm, no! lol Kai had me try the Kow Pad Nam Prik Prow years ago and I've been ordering it ever since. I order it mild since the peanut sauce already gives it a little kick. I make it my own by adding broccoli and chicken. The spring rolls are awesome too. It's always delicious and enough for two people or two meals. You need to give them a try! You won't be disappointed. Note: The dining room has been closed since the pandemic. They are still carry out only. I recommend you call your order in and then it's ready to grab and dash.“
