I love Thai food, and this is definitely in my top 5 for metro Detroit! I ordered the Pad Se Ew with shrimp, and it came out literally less than 5 minutes after I ordered. They only do carry out right now but there is seating available. My food was super hot and SO good! I didn’t love the spring roll but I just prefer the smaller version. I parked in the lot next door for $1.25/hr
Best Thai food in the Detroit area. Reasonably priced. Meals are pretty large. Calling ahead is not necessary, they're very very fast. Usually takes less than 5 minutes to cook both dishes I order. If you don't like spicy food, be sure to order it "mild" or put the spice on the side. Anything medium or beyond will have you breathing fire.The only negative about Bangkok Cafe is that it's located in Ferndale, the land of "pay to park". I have been going here since I was in high school. I joined the air force and after 3 years I came back and they still remembered me. I was so busy talking to them when I left that I forgot my credit card. A year later I came back and they still had my credit card and remembered to give it back to me.10/10 the best restaurant in all of metro detroit. When I come back home it is a must stop ❤️Also get the Tom Yum Gai soup, Chicken Pad Thai and the Egg Rolls ❤️
