This has been my favorite Thai restaurant for years!They have the best Thai food around I stop trying other Thai restaurants because nothing compares to this place!!!

I give this place a one star not because of their food but their customer service which in my opinion is equally important. They didn't put my spices in my carry out bag on more than one occasion. On Apr 3rd I went in to pick up a $38.00 order and ask if I could be accommodated an extra spice and I was told NO it's .50cents and then asked what about the times you didn't give it to me. The person in charge said "do you want it or not " My response was no I shouldn't have to pay for something you owe me. Mine you the spice is equal to a teaspoon in size.I spend money with this place on a continuous basis. Now I'm thinking they are deliberately leaving the spice out to make sure they have enough to make an extra .50cents on customers. Count your change this place is starting to act greedy. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Bangkok 9 Mile in Ferndale.

Tables aren't kept cleaned they look at you as if they really don't want your money. Food has too many juices spills out the bag and the box. I've had better!

I love this place - I've been dining here for decades and the food is consistently excellent. IMO the best Thai food in the metro. The Gaeng Keow Wan (w/ kafir lime leaf) and their soups are excellent. Unfortunately, it has become a carry out place that allows you to eat on-site without table service.

I have been going here since I was in high school. I joined the air force and after 3 years I came back and they still remembered me. I was so busy talking to them when I left that I forgot my credit card. A year later I came back and they still had my credit card and remembered to give it back to me.10/10 the best restaurant in all of metro detroit. When I come back home it is a must stop ❤️Also get the Tom Yum Gai soup, Chicken Pad Thai and the Egg Rolls ❤️

I love Thai food, and this is definitely in my top 5 for metro Detroit! I ordered the Pad Se Ew with shrimp, and it came out literally less than 5 minutes after I ordered. They only do carry out right now but there is seating available. My food was super hot and SO good! I didn’t love the spring roll but I just prefer the smaller version. I parked in the lot next door for $1.25/hr

Stopped by Ferndale today and ordered chicken satay and Tom Yum soup. No shrimp for the Tom Yum. Just chicken. While everything was OK, the Tom Yum soup and chicken satay at Spicy Thailand Restaurant in Warren and Jee’s Top 5 on Fort Street in Southgate are light years better.
Very bland pad Thai, had to add my own sauce at home to make it enjoyable. Good service and portion sizes just wasn’t feeling any flavor at all.
