THAI TOWN CAFE Reviews
I have been coming here for years and since the new owners took over by a year ago, They have made a small space into a comforting restaurant to eat a great meal. They have upgraded the tables the decor and the overall vibe. Consistency is very important to me and their food is consistently great. My go-to is the vegetable curry with chicken medium. A delicious red curry dish with a hint of basil and just enough heat. Curry noodle, fried rice, pad Thai, all have been great. I'd...read full review
Ok so this Thai place is good, but I found lacking expected flavor I am used to at Thai restaurants. They took my order for take-out fast, and everything was clean here. The Curry Pad Thai just lacked that curry flavor. I tried some soup that was so so and some rolls that were good. They gave me a taste of their coconut ice cream that was unbelievably delicious!!! First time customers to this Thai Town cafe in Troy, MI restaurant, we loved it. Food ingredients were fresh and special instructions were followed as requested. Online menu has a large selection to choose from and app was very easy to use and order our carry out.

Based on the reviews, THAI TOWN CAFE offers delicious, authentic Thai food made with care. The food tastes authentic, with a clear passion and authenticity in every dish. Standout meals include the pad prick nor mai made with fresh bamboo, the kra pow moo grob (crispy pork basil stir fry), and the pad Thai with a rich depth of flavor. Other popular dishes are the pink noodle soup, basil fried rice, and the Yen Ta Fo, which has a rich and perfectly balanced broth. For appetizers, the minced pork bun with egg and the crab rangoon are a delightful surprise. The newest dessert, i-Tim Kati (coconut ice cream), is also recommended. Portions are huge and prices are very reasonable, offering great value. The service is super friendly and welcoming, and the place has a chill and simple vibe with clean decor. Overall, everything is super delicious and highly recommended for anyone craving real Thai flavors.
