“Underrated joint easily accessible from Dixie. Decent food (they have more than bar food) good service, big place with plenty of seating. Has a sort of mixed family/bar vibe, which is a bit odd, OverTyme isn't quite sure if their customer is a 65 year old bar fly or a 12 year old playing arcade games. Either way there is a place for both.“

“Cute little place in downtown Pontiac. Loved the NY theme with the colorful lights. Excited to go back when it's warm out so we can check out the rooftop. Definitely enjoyed the music videos playing on all screens. Bartenders were extremely nice and attentive. Drinks and food were fairly priced. We loved the chickfilla sandwich. The toppings were fresh and the bun was super soft. Bang bang sauce was perfectly spicy. The famous bowl poutine had a lot of cheese and gravy. The chicken was crunchy. The sandwich and regular size poutine was enough for 2.“

Always improving, always hiring quality help, always a good time.Kid-friendliness: This place caters to kids but it is still definitely a bar. No language restrictions or kids meal specials. “I've been coming here since I was a kid and they're still one of the best places for a good lobster bisque and filet mignon. The service is usually pretty good and I always enjoyed getting to sit by the tennis courts to watch people play if/when they're there. Make sure you look up the hours and days they make the bisque otherwise you won't get it. Special days only but definitely worth it. I'd be sad if the restaurant closed because it's nice for a special occasion.“

“We met friends for Wednesday's half off burgers at 24th Street Sport Tavern, in the historic district of Oxford, MI. It was a well maintained older building, with a unique atmosphere!! I didn't think I could eat the entire half pound "Tavern Burger" but it was SO Good that I couldn't help myself!! The server was pleasant & attentive, keeping us supplied with everything requested! Mary was our server, and let me tell you, she is absolutely fantastic! Good customer service is so hard to come by these days, so it was a real treat to have someone so kind, energetic and dedicated to her job waiting on us. I also went with her recommendations on the food and she did not steer me wrong. Thank you Mary for making my evening .I had the Black and Blue burger and onion rings, and split some barbecue boneless wings. Everything was delicious and the burger was cooked to perfection. “Excellent bar and Grill! Many of us go here after rollerskating at the nearby Rolladium roller rink. They serve food late, which is great because we’re hungry when we arrive! Their sandwiches and hamburgers are a wonderful as well as their nachos. We will continue to come for grub after Skating !!!“
