After the devastating news of not being able to have our party at our house one month before the grad party we were panicking. After discussing a plan with Madison and Collin we came together beautifully. All everyone talked about was how delicious the food was. Thank you to Ashley our server for taking care of all of us. “My family used the Game Room 2/23/25 for a Memorial Gathering for my brother, Andrew Clark. Though the reason for the occasion was a somber one, the Game Room was perfect in atmosphere, size, amenities, and decor! Food was top notch, service superior with our 2 bartenders who kept dishes clear and beverages flowing. Erin, the manager was a jewel to work with! She answered questions and offered suggestions and took every phone call with grace and sincerity. “We have been here a few times and it's always good. Service is decent, food is hot and decent. The place always seems to have a few tables, but never overly busy of the times we have been here. I ordered my burger medium rare, and it was well done, but it was hot and didnt sit in the window for a long time. It was seasoned well and was still nice and juicy. The girlfriend got a chicken quesadilla and really enjoyed it. The garnish was a little odd being rough chopped salad lettuce and diced tomatoes, but the quesadilla was really good. We got potato skins for an appetizer and it was decent, just basic sysco frozen potato skins tho. Nothing is over the top delicious, but nothing is horrible either. Just, decent bar food. Def check this place out, but dont expect a 5 star meal either.“

“Stopped in here over the weekend on a whim and was so glad I did! It is small but cozy and comfortable with warm decor. You could actually talk without shouting (like most sterile modern places). Great menu selection with so many of my favorite dishes available, I had a hard time choosing. The food was superb; honestly better than I expected. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, with great portion sizes. Too many places serve frozen, nuked, soggy, bland meals these days, you won't get that here! The service was fast and friendly. Will definitely go back!“

“The Lakes catered a bridal shower for us today. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. We had the Michigan Salad, Firecracker Pasta w/Chicken and Salmon w/Citrus Cream Sauce. The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.“

“It was so good we had to go twice in one weekend. Great food! We had an array: Mushroom Swiss Burger, Greek Salad, Chicken tenders, Mozzarella Sticks, Coconut Shrimp and Potato Skins. All of it was delicious. We were lucky enough to have the same awesome server both nights. Shout out to Hannah for being amazing! The view is incredible and the atmosphere is comfortable. Highly recommend!“

“Went there for a bridal shower. The catered food was delicious. Love the room off to the side. It’s spacious and great decor. Bathrooms were clean. Only walked through the main bar restaurant, but it looked nice. If I lived closer, it would definitely be a place that I wanted to go to again.“

Came in for taco night, THESE TACOS ARE AMAZING. I got two corn tortillas with everything on them. The fresh jalapeño is diced to a nice size, complimentary of the taco itself instead of large chunks that over power the seasoning. The meat itself was seasoned to perfection. Everything else was fresh and the portions were perfect. Definitely coming back for more taco nights!“

“A very comfortable place with very good food and service! I love the Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday night with the Bourbon Glazed Salmon being a close second. One of the best French Onion soup bowls if you like the cheese melted over the bowl. (which I do!)“
