“I live, and my daughter goes to school, nearby and we stop here a couple times a month for dinner. Every time, the quality of the food is the same (pretty darn good), but the service is even better. Food comes out hot, fresh, and fast. I'm a big fan of their California Chicken Sandwich and Sliders and their shoestring fries (with just salt). Prices are pretty good for the area.“

“We are from out of town and was headed to a concert not knowing the area we seen buckshots and decided to stop for a quick bite before our concert. We were so impressed! The atmosphere was great, our waitress Paige was so pleasant and attentive and the food was absolutely amazing. We definitely will be back the next time we head to a concert or are in the area. If you have never been here before it is definitely worth the visit. Thank you for everything.“

“Great location, easy to find. Stopped in early on a weeknight. Not much going on, but the bartender was friendly enough, the beer was cold, the counter was clean and the few other customers were all friendly and enjoying themselves.

“Came up from Ohio to visit our Michigan friends, and here is where they took us to eat. I wasn't sure what to expect but it started out with an incredible welcome by a server named Vanessa. I ordered the bourbon bacon cheeseburger I think is what it was called the hamburger with beer cheese and bacon and caramelized onions. First of all it was absolutely huge! Second I have never had a better tasting hamburger in my entire life! And I've been to quite a few places, this beats it hands down! all four of us were absolutely blown Away! We're headed back up soon and that is where we will be eating dinner, and we will be asking to sit in Vanessa's section. Vanessa was amazing with us and all our little nuances and what we wanted and what we didn't want, she was just simply amazing! she's exactly what a server should be like! She absolutely deserves a raise! I look forward to seeing y'all here in the next couple months!“

“The Lakes catered a bridal shower for us today. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. We had the Michigan Salad, Firecracker Pasta w/Chicken and Salmon w/Citrus Cream Sauce. The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.“

“We have been here before, so we had a party here for my son's birthday. It's a nice place, great atmosphere. Plenty of TV's & a cool arcade area. Our server for the party, Savannah, was great. Along with our party, she was also covering other tables & didn't miss a beat. We ordered multiple pizzas, which were great. On top of everyone's drink orders & all the pitcher refills, she was very helpful & had a great attitude. If you're having a party or just want to watch a game, check them out.“

“I went to Time Out on a Friday night around midnight in search of some late night grub. It seemed as if this was the only place open in Waterford! I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well. About 30 people came in not too long after me and atmosphere livened up considerably. The Time Out is definitely a vibe! Oh yeah, I don't drink, but I can vouch for the Coca-Cola tasting good, too ?“

“The regular Waterford scene sees an honest Irish bar with young culinary talent and a penchant for activation. This hole-in-the wall has a lot of character and remarkably good food (by Waterford standards). There is a lot of traditional Irish fare, and you can tell that love goes into the menu. I've heard the burger was good too. I'm gonna go back for that.

Where it's successes are many there is a dive element it is trying to shake - it almost feels like the business would benefit with a reimagining of the space and a shifting of the layout.

I think it would be great to see more Irish whiskeys too.“

“What a great evening. I got to catch up with a friend I haven’t seen in a year and decided to come here because I wanted to go somewhere I haven’t been before. I’m glad I made that decision. Mary was our server, and let me tell you, she is absolutely fantastic! Good customer service is so hard to come by these days, so it was a real treat to have someone so kind, energetic and dedicated to her job waiting on us. I also went with her recommendations on the food and she did not steer me wrong. Thank you Mary for making my evening .I had the Black and Blue burger and onion rings, and split some barbecue boneless wings. Everything was delicious and the burger was cooked to perfection. I will definitely return.“
