“Stopped by to grab dinner here a couple nights ago after hearing good things about it from friends, they lived up to the expectations I had. The food was delicious , menu had many different options to pick from, I recommend the Korean ribs and the b1 smash drink. The service was amazing, super friendly and attentive. I will be coming back soon!“

“Still one of the best fish and chips around. It's just disappointing that the all you can eat Friday "fish fry" is no more. $19 for a generousportion. Add 2 drafts to wash it down and It's $45 per. Another sign of the times which likely explains a significant number open tables.“

“Cute little place in downtown Pontiac. Loved the NY theme with the colorful lights. Excited to go back when it's warm out so we can check out the rooftop. Definitely enjoyed the music videos playing on all screens. Bartenders were extremely nice and attentive. Drinks and food were fairly priced. We loved the chickfilla sandwich. The toppings were fresh and the bun was super soft. Bang bang sauce was perfectly spicy. The famous bowl poutine had a lot of cheese and gravy. The chicken was crunchy. The sandwich and regular size poutine was enough for 2.“

“We've been going here a lot lately because it's awesome!! The decor is cozy and comfortable like a log cabin. The service is spot on and the food is delicious!! As we've gone here quite a bit, we've sampled a good portion of their menu and I can honestly say that everything we've had has been great!! And it appears to not be a secret because it's always busy!! Just a great place to be!!“

“*7/2024 Still the #1 spot for us in the area hands down!This is our go to spot for dinner and a few drinks. It's the closest restaurant to our home and we're glad for that. Awesome food (Big Buck Roll up and Fries are my favorite), great staff, and the ambiance is off the charts for our liking.They have lots of IPA beers to which I don't drink but in the summer they usually have some pretty solid brews on tap.“

“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. Wine, was by the glass and was both red and white and light, semidry and elegant. Our perfect dinner ended the perfect evening. Thank you 220 Merrill for a wonderful 50th.“

“The fish & chips is excellent. Possibly the best I've ever had. The blackened Mango Mahi is also very good. I haven't had anything else but I'd bet you probably couldn't get a bad meal at this place. The only thing I don't like is the inside dining room is small and usually VERY noisy. The dining room under the tent is always chilly in the fall and winter. Every server is always attentive, professional, and hospitable.“

“Excellent bar and Grill! Many of us go here after rollerskating at the nearby Rolladium roller rink. They serve food late, which is great because we’re hungry when we arrive! Their sandwiches and hamburgers are a wonderful as well as their nachos. We will continue to come for grub after Skating !!!“

“Quite a bit more upscale than I had been expecting, yet the happy hour prices were great, as was the food and service. The bar tender couldn’t have been more friendly. The steak tips were $10 (happy hour) and were fantastic and larger portion than I had expected. My only beef (haha) was the beer selection.Kid-friendliness: There are better options if you have little ones.“

“The Lakes catered a bridal shower for us today. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed it. We had the Michigan Salad, Firecracker Pasta w/Chicken and Salmon w/Citrus Cream Sauce. The entire experience was outstanding. I've dined in before with my family multiple times and the food has always been delicious. I would highly recommend The Lakes.“

“Went after work on a Thursday night. Place was pretty busy but they sat us right away anyhow. I ordered the potato soup which was super yummy, I ended up saving it so I could bring it home. I also ordered the Nachos which was an appetizer, it was pretty big and I was not able to finish it by myself. Chips and flavor were delicious. The waitress was really nice and friendly as well. Place was clean.“

“Great place to eat, love their birthday deal! Every time we've been here has been great. Waitstaff could use some attentions to detail, but I've never had any major issues, and I know there are a lot of newer waitstaff. We come back every year for birthdays and will continue to do so.“

“Front staff was a little short tempered and fairly rude this visit. We just needed to seat 5 people at the non high top tables as we had one person who was handicapped joining our party. Waitress was pretty good, and the food was decent.Parking: When super busy parking is a little tricky but right next to Busch's grocery store, so can walk a lil bit if needed. They have several handicapped parking spots.Kid-friendliness: Our waitress was ok with my autistic daughter.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“

“Underrated joint easily accessible from Dixie. Decent food (they have more than bar food) good service, big place with plenty of seating. Has a sort of mixed family/bar vibe, which is a bit odd, OverTyme isn't quite sure if their customer is a 65 year old bar fly or a 12 year old playing arcade games. Either way there is a place for both.“

“The Irish egg rolls were so good. I ordered the Boom Boom shrimp assuming the shrimp would be covered in spicy sauce. I got fried shrimp with sauce on the side which was okay. The burger my bf got was top notch.It was pretty steady on a Tues night and our server was fantastic. Would definitely go back again.“

“Love this place. Across from Walled Lake. Karaoke is great on Friday nights but very crowded. It's a bar type of atmosphere.Parking: It depends on the day. During the day it's fine & early evenings. Nights when things like Kareoke are taking place the lot gets crowded & you have to find other parking close by.“

“I've been coming here since I was a kid and they're still one of the best places for a good lobster bisque and filet mignon. The service is usually pretty good and I always enjoyed getting to sit by the tennis courts to watch people play if/when they're there. Make sure you look up the hours and days they make the bisque otherwise you won't get it. Special days only but definitely worth it. I'd be sad if the restaurant closed because it's nice for a special occasion.“

“Duffy's Pub is a great place to hangout with family and friends! Karakoe on Wed and Sat night til 1am! Jules Z is the best server in the building! She brings your drinks and food out asap! Jules is very attentive! I highly recommend having her as your waitress! She is the best!“

“My second time here. I love the menu... hard to choose between traditional Irish favorites, American staples, and modern twists. I'd love to come back when green beer is flowing. This is the kind of place where a great party is just a moment away.“

“What a great evening. I got to catch up with a friend I haven’t seen in a year and decided to come here because I wanted to go somewhere I haven’t been before. I’m glad I made that decision. Mary was our server, and let me tell you, she is absolutely fantastic! Good customer service is so hard to come by these days, so it was a real treat to have someone so kind, energetic and dedicated to her job waiting on us. I also went with her recommendations on the food and she did not steer me wrong. Thank you Mary for making my evening .I had the Black and Blue burger and onion rings, and split some barbecue boneless wings. Everything was delicious and the burger was cooked to perfection. “Such a lively place in downtown Birmingham! The burger here is one of my favorites in the area. The grilled cheese and the tenderloin appetizer were some other favorites. The nachos and buffalo wings have also been recommended by other people. Service was very efficient and friendly.“
