“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My husband (a Navy Veteran) suggested we try Buck Shots for dinner. I called to ask about Veterans Day specials, 25% off. Just before 6pm we walked in, 5 minute wait, we liked it immediately! Our waiter, Jeff, was very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We ordered the loaded fries, loaded tots and chicken bowl. OH MY GOODNESS, everything was delicious! We will definitely go back again!“

“My friend and I went to brunch at the Fed. Our server Megan was the sweetest nicest server we’ve ever had. She was amazing. The ambience was absolutely beautiful. The live music was perfect. My friend had the shrimp and grits and I had the avocado toast. Unfortunately, our food wasn’t as good as everything else. But the Cinco de Mayo mimosas hit the spot. I will be back for brunch again to try something else. I hope I get in Megan section again.“

Each outstanding! The buttercream used on both was the most perfect creamy, sweet blend. And the deep chocolate coating covering the buttercream bump was our favorite. Both cupcakes were "Best in Class!" We understand that next week the Cafe will be featuring a fresh asparagus salad with a poached egg atop so we'll be back earlier in the day, and maybe for breakfast, too! Next visit, when we are heading straight home right afterwards, we'll be taking Ellen's made-in-store butter pecan ice cream with us to try. I understand it's amazing!“

“We got Amy Cakes cupcakes for our wedding last August and couldn’t be happier! The cupcakes were ready to pick up day of and were delicious. “I travel a lot for work and so I try a lot of different smoothies & recently I was in town and stopped by here to try out a smoothie - it was hands down the best smoothie I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and it was healthy! (It was the protein shake with espresso, I forget the exact name.) The staff was super friendly and helpful explaining their menu and what they offer. I highly recommend this place!! (The smoothie was full when I got it but I drank some of it before I remembered to take the picture lol.)“

However, this place has become our go-to spot when we want to dine-in, in my personal opinion, it’s the most authentic restaurant we’ve found thus far. Flavor is there, the portions are generous, the dishes are what they are, they have that home-made essence to them; overall this place feels and tastes like home, highly recommended!“
