Our 3 tier cake had white raspberry, chocolate and lemon and the cake is tender and light as well as the frosting. Our guests enjoyed the cake too. Also, you have to try Amy's cinnamon rolls!“

“L.A. Cafe is a quirky little coffee shop that also offers breakfast and lunch. I've had their dark roast coffee as well as their chili nachos, and they did a nice job with both endeavors. Their menu and their indoor seating are somewhat limited, but that doesn't seem to create any problems, at least not on weekday mornings. I really enjoyed speaking to the young lady who works as their hostess/server; she smiles a lot and can hold her own in any engaging conversation. All in all, it's really good to see this alt oasis doing so well in a sea of regressive minds.“

“I visit this location for lunch from time to time. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Today I grabbed a large order of sliders and tray of fries to feed 6 people. The staff offered plates, a set of large spoons for my family to scoop out fries, salt, and plenty of ketchup to boot. I only stopped short of a 5-star review as the drink station could be cleanlier and sometimes you can taste a hint of fish on some of the fried foods. However, I must say everyone at my get together loved the food, so I'd certainly recommend them whenever you are in the mood for a tasty slider.“

It took me a good twenty minutes to find the place because there was NO signage! My Lassi was warm and the rice was cold. Luckily the lamb was hot enough to warm the rice. I will definitely order again because the food was so good, but seriously, no sign?!“

Though the reason for the occasion was a somber one, the Game Room was perfect in atmosphere, size, amenities, and decor! Food was top notch, service superior with our 2 bartenders who kept dishes clear and beverages flowing. Erin, the manager was a jewel to work with! She answered questions and offered suggestions and took every phone call with grace and sincerity. “Best pizza in Michigan. They lost my favorite bartender or she quit, oh well doesn’t stop us from coming. The noise can be a bit overwhelming and the service is very good, but the service staff have never asked me if I was a mug club member or if my name was in the system (if you reach 200 points you get $10 off) and for the amount of money that we have spent in there, we would’ve had $1000 off by now. I didn’t know this secret until recently. The beer is better than average 6.5/10. Their prices just went up this past week. We would always get the pepperoni pizza for $19, now if you order the pepperoni pizza, you can choose two other toppings for $21. I don’t want the other two toppings I just want pepperoni so that’s a bummer that it cost two more bucks for that. It’s a nice spot.“

“Been coming here for years. Food is great. Always get the soup, salad, and breadsticks. Can’t go wrong with that. I have ONE complaint though. It is a waiter whose name is BUCK (I think). He’s got a southern accent (or sounds like it). This man has been there for years. He is rude & condescending. He said to me and my family when I asked him if my son could have a glass instead of a kid’s glass, Buck said “Last time I checked, it was all over the table.” First off, I had no idea what he was talking about. Wrong customer he’s talking about, not us. Second, you don’t talk to customers that way regardless. And then we came back a few months later, and we were stuck with Buck again. We asked him about something that used to be on the menu and if they still served it and he said “Never heard of it.” We have witnesses him giving the same treatment to other customers as well. How this man has stayed employed this long I’ll never understand.“

We ordered Shrimp, fried pickles and cheese sticks. When dinner entrees came out, 2 out of the 6 entrees were cold. Waitstaff also did not clear our plates most of the night so they piled up. The best part was it was my husbands birthday and they came out with a big dessert with sparkling candle. I would give it another try.“
