“I've been coming to Beijing Garden for over 10 years, and they still deliver every single time. The food is consistently delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor — the kind of place where you can order anything and be confident it will be excellent.

They get extremely busy on holidays, but that never compromises quality. Staff stay calm and focused during the rush, and the kitchen keeps turning out great plates; for me, that reliability on the busiest days matters more than speed.

One of the few restaurants where I’ll happily spend a little more because they truly embody the higher qualities of food and service. Highly recommended.“

I look for the number of reviews and I try to find helpful reviews to give me more incite into what I may be getting into. My wife works in a business where the reviews really matter for bringing in new customers. She often talks about the long-time customers who keep returning but have never left a review. Those are really the voices that should matter more to people who want an honest review of the company they are looking into. Unfortunately, even though I like looking at reviews, I seldom leave one unless I'm very satisfied with the company or really disappointed. In both cases, I leave my emotions aside and tell things as I experience them. This means that if everything wasn't perfect, I don't ding them for minor stuff. I give people the benefit of the doubt because we all have those days when we aren't at our best. When I read bad reviews about restaurants that I frequent often, I wonder about the person leaving the review. I feel that they are either competitors with malicious intent, someone who didn't try to listen to resolve whatever issues they perceived to be happening, or simply someone who's looking for a reason and is too hard to please in the first place. So with all that out of the way, let me get to the Lim's Star review. I love Chinese food and it's one of the first things I looked for locally when I bought my house 10 years ago. There are several in what I would consider my drivable area. Lim's Star is in my top 5 or higher depending on what dish I'm looking for. 10 years means I've been coming there since before the current owner. Do I miss the dinner rolls? Not really, since I get better quality food and personalization of meals on request. The new owner knows us on sight and remembers what we like to order. He even allows us to modify the ingredients to our liking. He is very friendly and will engage in small talk to get to know his customers better. We eat at or buy takeout from Lim's Star at least once a month, sometimes more. Has everything always been perfect? No, but I really can't recall the last time I was dissatisfied with my order or service. Based on my long review, I'm hoping you can tell I have had many enjoyable meals from and experiences with Lim's Star. Seriously! If you are on the fence or willing to try something new in your area, start with a dish you know to compare. I doubt you will be disappointed in your comparison. Mark J.“

“First time trying Ah-Ha and was very pleasantly surprised. The crab & shrimp boil was delicious but the cajun seasoning could have been spicier. I was thrilled to find marinated pork belly as the pork in my noodles (pork and vegetable option). This was a "need a towel, not a napkin" kind of meal - messy and great! We will definitely be back.“

“We love PF Changs and so any opportunity to eat here is never missed and this location didn’t disappoint either. We ordered dynamite shrimp, orange chicken, Mongolian beef and kungpao with steamed rice, and we left really satisfied! Ended with a ‘Wall of chocolate’ that was just gorgeous. “There must be a different Royal Wall than we went to for dinner tonight. The place was DIRTY and didn't look like it had been cleaned or the floors swept at all this year. The prices were a tad high for the quantity. The quality was just okay, but I would NEVER go there again. Beware of these reviews. They're probably from the workers there...or the owners.“

“Came here with a tour. Happy to see that it was packed with local people of different ethnicities, having a good time, sharing the same wonderful food. Though much of the dishes are quite Americanised, like the icy cold chicken and Chinese broccoli with beef, glad to see that it is with dedication and heart; nothing mundane or tasteless like the “pre-packaged” food that we are used to now in Hong Kong. BBQ-Pork “Chaa-Siu”, however, could easily be the best I’ve had in the US in the 7 years I lived there. You have to try it. Authentic, juicy, and tender.

I am also pleasantly surprised to see most waiters and waitresses here speak Cantonese.

The wonton soup is the best in the downriver area, even though this place is not part of that exchange. Our waitress is so sweet and has kept up with everyone. This building/atmosphere is clean and friendly and just beautiful. Tjere is plenty of room for an intimate meal just for two or a large gathering. From the moment I called to place my order, the wonder lady “wife” who assisted me was incredibly kind, patient, and super sweet Her customer service truly stood out and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
When I arrived to pick up my food, everything was ready on time, and the service remained just as warm and welcoming in person. As a visitor traveling from Orlando, Florida and exploring Detroit and Chicago, this was easily one of the most pleasant pick-up order experiences I’ve had on my trip.

“My friends and I love going to Jiang Nan Noodle House. My friend from NY was visiting and recommended we try this place. One of the best Chinese noodle place in my opinion. I like their Veggie Flat Noodle dish. The broth noodle soup can be a little less flavorful. My other favorite dish is the mung bean noodles appetizer. I do see a lot of Asians eating at this restaurant, so it does mean its good! “I just picked up a carryout. Oh my!! My husband gave his pork chop suey a 10/10. He actually said it was the best pork chop suey he’s ever had from a restaurant. I have to say my shrimp with sizzling rice was an 11/10. Superb. We are both pretty discerning about food. And to have us both pleased, it was great! “I heard good things about this restaurant for years, and got chance to visit it today. They enlarged the menu items. They serve a combination of typical Chinese food and very authentic Chinese. They also have take out service. Quite a busy place when I was there. I had authentic style Fish Fillets in Hot Chili Oil and Chicken Stew with Belt Noodles with customized spicy level. “The food is quite good on the Cantonese-American style. They're basically only open for dine-in service at lunch time, I think. I did eat lunch in the restaurant but it's clear they much prefer people to order take out. Most of the dining room is blocked off.
