Amazing food run by a husband and wife very sweet good people
RESERVATION ONLY. No walks in. Extremely authentic Shanghaiese cuisine. The best hot soup dumplings I’ve ever had.
Dishes were authentic and tasty here. Will definitely return especially for those soup dumplings! One thing I didn’t like is that we had to call a day or two earlier to make a reservation and to order the menu items.. Don’t forget you cannot walk in and get food here!

The dumplings are a must-try, and reservations are highly recommended at least a day in advance for customized dishes. Every penny goes into quality food prep, making the extra steps worthwhile. The restaurant may not have a fancy exterior, but the fresh and hot family-style courses create a delightful dining experience. Chef Jeff shops for fresh ingredients after receiving orders, ensuring each dish is prepared with care. The restaurant's dishes, such as steamed pork dumplings (xiao long bao), smoked fish, braised pork shoulder, and sweet wine soup with rice balls, are exquisitely prepared and super-delicious. Jeff’s interpretation of Shanghainese food is considered one of the best, surpassing many other places across the USA and abroad. Call ahead for a reservation, as no walk-ins are allowed, to enjoy the freshest ingredients and personalized service. Guests often enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, with the chef and his wife stopping by to replenish tea and chat, making it a truly enjoyable dinner experience.
