The beef noodle soup was very delicious. The broth was rich, flavorful, and slightly spicy. The beef was tender, and the noodles had a nice texture. The fresh vegetables made the dish more balanced. I would definitely order it again.“

“Unusual name and location -- GREAT freaking ramen! You can tell it's legit... like being in Japan legit, with the layers in the broth working together to create depth, aroma, and complexity. I really like the add-on option on the menu too for when I'm in the mood for a little bit more in the bowl.“

“We have dined for breakfast on various occasions. The tastes of the foods was amazing. The presentation of the plates was breath taking, absolutely beautiful. The only shortfall we found in the restaurant was the BLINDING sun on the East side windows. A good set of adjustable blinds would be a welcomed addition on those East side windows. All in all, the food was so good and so hot, the presentation was beautifully displayed and the staff were friendly and well experienced. We will come back and recommend restaurant to others.“

“I used to come here over 25 years ago with a friend who lived in the area. Just had them again last week for the first time in 25 years and it's just as good as I remembered! They give you the largest portions I've ever gotten from any Chinese restaurant! It's enough to feed 3 people easily. “I met some friends on Saturday morning for breakfast at the Imperial Diner in LaSalle. This was my first visit and I was impressed by the atmosphere and cleanliness of this spacious old time style diner. Our waitress, Valentina, was very friendly and attentive to our needs. I could tell that she clearly enjoys her job, which was evident by her welcoming smile and conversation. I ordered a veggie omelette which included toast and and home fries! It was very good! I would recommend The Imperial Diner if you are looking for a place to meet with a group for breakfast, lunch or dinner!“

“I have eaten here several times over the last few years, the food is always fresh, hot, and the portions are HUGE. The place is a "mom and pop". it's ran by the owners, a husband-and-wife team. Because it's just the two of them when it gets busy it takes them awhile to answer the phone and there could be as much as a 30–45-minute wait for your food. It's also carry out only. If you don't mind the no dine in option or the wait, this will probably be one of the best Chinese food places you have eaten at in the downriver area.“

“I was honestly a little nervous walking into this hole-in-the-wall spot but you already know that usually means it’s about to be really good.

I ordered the sesame chicken lunch combo (about $9.15, cash only), and wow… everything was fresh and flavorful. This was my first time trying it since my usual spot was closed on a Monday, and I’m so glad I did. The chicken pieces were big, juicy, and real.. none of that weird fatty stuff.

The guy behind me said he’s been coming here since he was 5 years old, which says a lot.

Only reason for 4 stars is the shrimp fried rice only had about 3 pieces of shrimp, but it was still delicious regardless.

“Tried this place after my go to Chinese restaurant closed down and this place absolutely blew my old restaurant out of the water! The chicken was so flavorful and crunchy, not that rubbery chicken you get from other places. The egg drop soup was absolutely perfect as well with crispy chips to go with it. And the amount of food you get for the price is insane! You could feed a whole family with one meal! I will absolutely be ordering from here again soon and recommending it to everyone I know. This is officially my new favorite restaurant! I can’t say anything about the atmosphere or the restaurant itself because I used DoorDash, but I’m sure the dining experience is just as lovely!“

“Mays is a goto for me!!! I’m in love with the King Ka Lee I believe. It’s the yellow curry with rice, chicken and potatoes. Perfect for a winter day. The food is always cooked fresh and you can watch them cook it. It’s really fast I like to order when I get there because it only takes a real 5 mins. And I add a Thai tea for the spice. Ima medium + spice kinda guy. If you want to go crazy add mushrooms.“

“Really nice folks and beautiful interesting interior. Been on my list opening 4 months ago. Ordered Pupu Platter, Chinese Scallion Pancakes, Large Chinese Veggies Soup and Chicken Egg Foo Young. Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“

“Great service even though my order was towards the end of the nights closing time. I called in a dine-out order and when I arrived party of my order was dropped fresh so it would be hot. No find in capability. I appreciated the extra touch of the space heater at your feet at the counter as it's cold season. Free Oriental style hush puppies were a surprise and tasted good. Egg rolls were fine more cabbage than bean sprouts and tasted good. Our shrimp fried rice was fresh and full of decent sized clean shrimp. The general sao chicken was decent it contained all cuts of chicken white and dark meat, I'm accustomed to all chicken breast so it was different but the sauce great. It was my first time there and I would return. I have no complaints. Thanks for your kind service that's a lost art in customer service lately“

“We were actually walking to a deferent Chinese restaurant but couldn’t find it, we stumbled across this place instead. Very happy we did, food was amazing and reasonably priced. Food is definitely cooked incredibly fresh, our food was piping hot. I got the feeling that is was a local spot, many people came in and out to order or pickup while we were in there. Only 2 things could have made this better, air as that kitchen definitely puts off a lot of heat and a table that was level, but to be fair it’s definitely not a place sit down to eat, more of a takeout spot.“

I really like the eggroll, although it is much more a spring roll. My main reason I choose this place, is because it is fast. Every time I call in my order they tell me it will be ready in 10 minutes. When I get there it is done.“

I immediately called and complained about my meal. If it was not foggy and night .I would have drove 10 miles and returned my ordered. I will go to a Chinese market and cooked my own food.
