I don’t expect an airport Japanese restaurant to be great, but I’ve flown through Detroit enough that I remember when the Japanese restaurant wasn’t terrible. The sushi may be decent, but I had tempura udon, which was sad. I’ve never seen such thickly battered, floppy tempura. It was inedible. I never leave reviews - but I feel the need to explain… it’s like the staff have never tasted ramen and have only seen pictures and imagined what it might be like. This was the worst ramen I’ve ever had. I should’ve known better so I blame myself really. Just saying, keep exploring - there are so many better looking options in this terminal if you keep walking in any direction. I regret every dollar and every bite.
This restaurant is a joke, why the heck is the ramen so bland, and why is the egg overcooked like not even a little bit like way too much. Seriously the cookers gotta do some magic if they wanna get the 3 star rating up cuz this is js bad bro honestly. You shouldn’t even have the name of a Japanese restaurant. And as a Japanese/Cambodian myself I’m very disappointed in this. Please Sora let’s do better
