This place exceeded my expectations ! The quality is unmatched, reasonable prices IMO for the amount of food. Friendly staff & cute place . Will make this my go to for authentic Mexican.
The Birria here is the best I’ve had, unrivaled. The Tres Leches is great, but used to be better (used to be more soaked, drier now than it used to be ). But still an excellent Tres Leches, and I’m grateful they have it, as it’s hard to find. The grilled chicken here I want to love, but every time I’ve ordered it, it doesn’t seem fresh. Best Mexican food in Metro Detroit, without a doubt. I live half an hour away now, much closer to Mexican Town, yet I still make the drive to La Botana because it's the best. Been coming here for 10 years and it's very close to my heart ?
