“This was my first Einstein bagel experience and it was great. Very affordable and they had a lot of deals! I only remembered to take a picture of my muffin but the breakfast bagel and lunch bagel was great! The coffee was amazing too. A++ to the nice staff.“

“Enjoyed my time at Mad Nice. Went late evening and found two friendly staff members. It wasn’t busy, so I felt advantageous and got to know the baristas a bit. I found them to be very personable and inviting, traits that unfortunately seem to be getting harder to come by these days. It’s always comforting when you come across people who still naturally carry them.

I purchased a cortado, which was made very well. Overall, enjoyed my visit.“

“Stopped in today while I was in the area. Been wanting some fresh “homemade” bagels. Got my husband a sausage egg and chz bagel and he loved it. Got my self 2 bagels and cream cheese and got 2 dog bagels. Everything was good and reasonably priced. Will be stopping back by whenever I’m in the area again.“

“This is the best Einstein bagels you will go to in the state. I’ve been to a lot of them and non-compares. The only other Einstein bagel that was better than this was back in the day in Commerce my friends mom Colleen was the GM. Ferdarrel is amazing he always greets me with a hug smile and a positive attitude give him a raise! Christian made my food today and it was so good. We got two breakfast sandwiches the all nighter and a plain bagel with turkey egg, and cheddar cheese I will definitely be back. This is my local place and it’s so good.“

“Pretty much identical to Jersey Bagel (Birmingham, Bloomfield, W Bloomfield) but not quite as good. I believe the owners of Bagel Spot used to own Jersey Bagel. I had an egg bagel with egg whites and onions - it was a little light on egg whites and the onions were raw and too thick-cut. I much prefer how they scramble them in at Jersey Bagel.“

“Rafael did a great job in a very busy and stressful situation. Lot of people waiting for food and to order. He kept everything moving and helped the others at the perfect times.
Food came out quickly and a little sloppy but still delicious.

“I’ve been coming to this place for years, so I’m kind of shocked that I have never reviewed it before now.
I am a huge bagel fan and these are probably the best bagels in the Detroit area. Today I had my “go to” item - an everything bagel i with lox spread. It was excellent, as always! The lox spread here is different than most places - this isn’t just pink cream cheese that has a vague flavor of salmon - it has substantial pieces of lox right in it! The menu also covers a lot of other territory. My wife was interested in the cheese steak wrap but doesn’t eat a lot of beef, so they were able to substitute some grilled chicken in for her and it was great!“

“If you want an outstanding bagel, you MUST try New York Bagel. I walked in and was greeted with such friendly energy from the lady at the cash register. Fresh Parmesan bagels were coming right out of the oven, so of course I couldn’t pass them up. How fantastic. Crunchy outside, soft steamy inside, most delicious flavor. And for a mind blowing price. Overall amazing establishment and I will absolutely return here for more bagels.“

“Amanda and her team at this location in Rochester hills have been nothing short of caring helpful and kind , they have made a huge difference in Avondale football camps by donating bagels for these young men for after practice making sure they are full on delicious protein filled bagels. “I’ve been driving past this place everyday for the last year and just recently stopped in and haven’t stopped since. I am always greeted when I walk in and the women are super helpful. My first time she explained the entire menu to me and all the options. Even told me what bagels just came out of the oven. And when I tell you it was UNREAL I mean it! Egg and sausage sandwich on Asiago was so fresh and so tasty. I’ve gone a handful of times since and ever single time I walk out in a better mood. Elaine’s has amazing bagels and their hazelnut coffee is unmatched. You got yourself a regular. I recommend this place to anyone!“

“LINA IS THE BEST! I had a tough week and accidentally left behind my (very good but fake) Gucci purse. I was shocked when I returned the next day and Lina presented me my bag. Not a thing was missing - including my raybans! It would have been a disaster to lose the contents of my bag (e.g. all my work keys!!). So, this Einsteins bagels just made my day/week/year so much better. Thank you to everyone who made the effort to get my bag back to me safely. And again, thank you Lina!

“First time customer. I wasn't looking for bagels, but I am glad I stopped in. The bagels were great, the service was fantastic. I'm reading some of the reviews, this area is difficult to please anyone. So many pretentious, impossible to please customers. I hate that for a small business trying to compete. This place deserves a better overall rating. They really are great and fairly priced. Definitely stop in and give them a try.“

“The food? Amazing. I have always loved Einstein bagels. However, I have to say, the young woman working the order register needs to improve her customer service skills. When I walked in, she was chatting with another young woman who was working there. As I approached the register, she turned her back on me rather than greet me. When she turned around she still said nothing to me. When the manager asked her why she was having a conversation instead of assisting me, she said,"she's looking at the menu!" I was looking at the menu because she was obviously too busy to ask me if I needed assistance.“
