“Excellent food and service“

“Been here a few times and always feel taken care of. Lots of options and knowledgeable staff (especially as a celiac the GF options are ACTUALLY an option)

My girl Z will ALWAYS take good care of you and makes you feel like she loves her job and loves being your server. She charms my nana every time and I’m forever grateful for staff that has the patience to entertain her. She even brought out a dessert for her and threw in some sparkles in her drink just to make her feel so loved and special during her birthday. Above and beyond. She’s the BEST.“

“Love this restaurant! We travel from Windsor Ontario to eat here because of the great food and drink. However the best part of Troy Yard House is the staff. Namely Sara who works the bar. She is simply amazing. I marvel at how she commands the bar yet encages with each of her customers. We have been here several times and attend based on Sar's schedule. We truly appreciate her as well the other staff who make this a GREAT place to be!“

“My wife and Enjoy the customer service every time I hate I don’t remember our waitress name she was awesome, she knew the menu, she came over to us every time on time, she was great! This is my wife’s favorite she love the Ribeyes well done, Ocean Prime never miss with her stakes. That olive oil truffle popcorn should Be sold in stores, I never had popcorn this good ever and it’s to live for!!!“

“We enjoyed our dinner with a group of family and friends. Our service was excellent and the additional staff helped out nicely to deliver our meals together and hot. Very nice bourbon selection and several nice signature cocktails. Decor was upscale modern look. Only negative is it was a bit loud?? I'd go back.“

“I had a pleasant experience with this place. All of the food seemed fresh, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is very vibrant.

The 2 times in which I went, our group sat outside, being that it was summer. They had trivia, which I assume is every Wednesday.

As for food, I got the caprese sandwich on the first occasion and the then the Tomato basil soup on the second. Both were good but the caprese sandwich was very good. While the menu is not huge, it does offer the basics and has a few healthier options, such as vegan dishes.

Overall, the atmosphere and food qualiy make this place worth checking out.“

“My family has eaten here several times. Service has always been exceptional. You came to my rescue when our Thanksgiving plans fell through and my out of town guests needed a place to have dinner. Your take-out saved the day and the food was good and plentiful. Thank you for being there for us. We all enjoyed a great dinner and know we can count on your pleasant service in the future.“

“The server Charteria was well-versed with the menu. She was attentive and personable. The manager Kinga came by asking about the server and food. We were impressed with her. The atmosphere was very uplifting. My meal was very good. I had the prime rib sandwich.“

“This comes from a chance experience with this location. Our son wanted chicken for dinner, and we made a quick decision to try this location. The five star rating is based primarily on the young man who was our cashier. His customer service was exemplary of what you want from customer facing employees. He was incredibly cordial and welcoming, informative and engaging. I sincerely hope that he is being groomed for management. The food was good for casual dining. The tenders over the fusion fries were very tender and tasty. The fries were perfectly crispy. Even while cleaning up our area and planning to leave, the young man was simply a joy. We continued to talk about his great service during our drive home. It's certainly made our day.“

“My daughter and I enjoyed a Mothers Day lunch here together. The food was fresh and tasty. We shared a strawberry salad and hamburger. Kitchen kindly split the entrees for us in back. Nice wine offerings and mimosas. Popovers came out fresh from the oven served with their strawberry butter- yummy!“

“I recently hosted my second special event at the Somerset Inn, and once again, it was absolutely fabulous! I held my daughter’s wedding shower here two years ago, and just celebrated my other daughter’s baby shower last weekend. Both events were everything I hoped for and more. The food was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The buffet was unique and impressed all of our guests. The room setup was perfect, elegant, comfortable, and easy to decorate, which really allowed me to create the look and feel I wanted. Pam, our head server, provided excellent service with such warmth and professionalism. Dave, the manager, checked in several times to make sure everything ran smoothly, and Carrie, my banquet and catering manager was amazing to work with, attentive, organized, and so accommodating. From the ambience to the service to the food, everything was spectacular. I highly recommend the Somerset Inn for any type of event, they truly make every celebration feel special.“

“Surprised that this place isnt at least 4.5 stars! I have ordered lunch from here multiple times now and have had amazing food every time. Ive tried their pizza, a couple salads, a pasta dish, tomato soup & grilled cheese, and ALL of it is good. It's a bit pricier but it's really worth it. I work in the area and grab lunch from a variety of different places but Nordstrom has the tastiest food.“

“My wife and I stopped in for lunch yesterday and it was a great experience.

Our server, Tobin, was one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. His hospitality and genuine care throughout our meal really stood out.

Not only was the service awesome, but the food was as well. We’ll definitely be back.

“I had lunch recently at California pizza in the Somerset mall , Troy, Mi Deb was our server and she was extremely attentive to our needs , she came up with suggestions in terms o choosing the cheese and the right dressing that paired with the ingredients in the salad. Very pleasant and helpful. Salad was fresh and plentiful, they also serve a delicious complementary bread with olive oil. I’ll frequent that restaurant more often in the future. Thank you DEB for making our first experience in that locale very enjoyable!“
