“I have never had a bad meal at Capital Grille. Food, service and ambiance is always 5/5 here. Yes, it is expensive. Yes, they have a dress code but that is what makes it special. The care they go to to make sure you have an exceptional dining experience puts them above most other restaurants. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and they usually have multiple daily specials. Aside from dinner we have been here for Easter and Mother's Day brunch as well. I highly recommend the lonster frittata if you come for brunch, it is excellent. You can't go wrong with their scallops or any cut of steak here. If you enjoy cocktails, they make the best espresso martini around.“
“Well, if you follow me, you know that if in a city/state that has a Ruth's Chris (RC), I'm going. I went. I was disappointed. It pains me to even say it. I've only had 1 bad experience at an RC, and that was in San Antonio. Well, we have somehow circled back around to a bad 1. This time, in Detroit, Michigan. Well, technically, it's in Troy, MI, which is a little suburb outside of Detroit.Service was slim to none.1. We asked for more bread. We never received it.2. When I made my initial order, I was very detailed and requested extra croutons with my salad and A1 for my steak. Neither came out.3. Our table was cleaned once. Yet, our empty bread plate, appetizer plates, salad bowls, and used napkins were plentiful on our table. I stacked them to make room.4. Our guy was rarely seen. He popped up to ask about dessert and the check. You know, at times when it was obvious that you were possibly waiting on someone or something.5. Not a service complaint, but it was extremely dark in there. I know a certain ambiance is expected, but almost everybody in there pulled their phone out to read the menu. I didn't because I just knew it so well, but damn RC turn on the lights. Don't Teddy Pendergrass me.“
“It’s a great pizza most of the time, though the quality can suffer a bit if they are super busy. I also wonder if they are losing out by not being open earlier during football season. They are so close and convenient for me, but they are closed when the games starts, so like a lot of people that like a pie for the game, we go elsewhere.“
“Breakfast was delicious. I had the big easy omelette. Would definitely order that again. Mom had the veggie omelette without peppers and onions. She seemed pleased with her choice. My husband had the breakfast BLT. All very good. Will have to try lunch or dinner next time.“
“I'd give more stars if I could! The staff was amazing. We really enjoyed the food. Everything about our was visit was wonderful. I highly recommend going here!!!!Vegetarian options: Cheese and fish are on the menu as well as some appetizers that did not contain meat.“
“Quaint and modern little spot. Can definitely see it livening up during the warmer months. I had a reservation for my husband’s birthday. Aperol for me and a wise and handsome for husband. Both good. We shared the steak tartare and braised beef apps. Both were delicious. Nice just and flavor with the tartare. The whipped feta with beets was smooth and delicious. I got the scallops and risotto. The risotto Nero was interesting. I don’t know if they added cheese but there was almost a smaller gelatin consistency. Scallops were nicely seared. Other main was the tagliatelle with lamb ragú. It had a nice hint of spice and the fresh pasta was evident. Dessert was a VERY rich chocolate ganache-like dessert with small malt balls on top. There was a hint of thyme which was a good contrasting flavor.“
“Unwined has GREAT wine and even BETTER staff! The rotating menu of wines makes it a very easy spot to revisit. They have something for all tastes, including food! Small bites and snacks are perfect to pair with their wines. The highlight of Unwined is the events they host! The themed trivia nights they host are a blast and you can tell they put thought and time into making these events fantastic. We are frequent flyers and will continue to be!“
“Really nice wine list, and couple that with the cheese plate and it's a wonderful start to a relaxing evening. Melanie was our server, and was attentive and fun. The lamb ragu, if you like pasta dishes, is a hit. The dessert choices are not extensive, but then again, the restaurant is not massive in size. I'd rather the volume of choices to be part of the entrees, and not at the finish, when I'm already full!“
“I love everything about V&V. The owners are lovely. The atmosphere is delightful. The food is delicious and I have never had a bad glass of wine in the dozen or more visits I have made since they opened their doors.Vegetarian options: The veggie panini and grilled cheese sandwich are my favorites!Parking: Parking is available on the street and can usually be found on further than a 3 minute walk from V&V’s front door.“
“The chef’s skill in preparing this dish was evident, as every bite was a harmonious blend of tender grilled chicken and creamy Alfredo sauce atop perfectly cooked fettuccine noodles. It was truly a meal to remember. Hats off to the chef for creating such a masterpiece! If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Da Francesco’s. “My wife and I enjoyed the ambiance of the downtown Auburn Hills area, lots of people around. I appreciate they have a patio here, but we opted to sit inside to avoid the heat on the evening we went.I love the concept- wines from wineries around Michigan that usually we wouldn't even know about. Maybe they're way up north or wherever, but this place brings it right to the neighborhoods of Metro Detroit so you can try a few to see what you like. The flights were bit pricey, 3 of $16, but the pours were generous. I actually would've preferred half-pours if I could've tried three more instead for that price.I didn't find anything I couldn't live without, but my wife and I each ordered 3 different wines in our flights, so we could actually both try 6. Therefore, we went with 6 dry reds, because that's what she drinks. I liked a few of them.I'd definitely return to try some more. A good date night. This is the second location we've tried, Shelby Township being the other.“
“At Smokys, you'll discover a haven where camaderie thrives, making it the perfect spot for both close friends and the opportunity to forge new connections. This unassuming local cigar lounge not only offers a great space to savor a meal and a smoke for aficionados but also boasts excellent ventilation, allowing even non-smokers to partake in the experience.Elliot and Lindsay see that every moment at Smokys is enjoyable, ensuring your needs are met and creating a truly comfortable retreat for all that visit.“
“Daniel was our server, and WOW did he do an amazing job. My wife and I came for her birthday and Daniel had some Excellent suggestions for dinner. His assistant, Jenny, was very professional. We WILL DEFINITELY come back again. Thank you for an amazing evening!“
“Visiting from Pittsburgh, PA - I stopped here on Sunday for the first time. Luke was very pleasant and accommodating. The tastings were awesome. I didn't have a chance to sample any of their food but I definitely plan to come back again.“
“My server informed me at the very end of my meal that the restaurant has lied to customers for over a year about having gluten free carrot cake and they have just been feeding people with intolerances gluten containing cake. So disrespectful. I got glutened after I spent $200 on my meal and was assured I had chosen gluten free dishes and precautions were being taken. Like look, I get it. Food allergies are a pain in the *ss but if you can't accommodate people with them don't lie to your customers. There are lots of other places in the metro area who do take allergies and medical conditions seriously. Way to ruin my birthday. Im going to be sick for a whole week because I have Celiac Disease. Thanks a ton.“
“I ate here on Wednesday night (Feb 7 2024) with a large group, 12 people for a friend's birthday, and it was fantastic! The food and drinks were incredible, but I was most impressed with our server, a guy with a black beanie and beard. Our group split our check into 6 different checks and I imagine it was such a pain to organize everything given we all had multiple plates and drinks. He was so friendly, helpful, and just a great server. Thanks for a great experience! I have also been once before and it was great then too. Love this place“
“La Collina always has great food and service. Our last visit was no different. They made a birthday dinner even more special. It is a small, intimate place, so it can get a little noisy, but it is part of the ambiance. Don't pass up trying this gem.“
“The food is very good and so is the service. I don’t drink and was only charged $2 for a soda. My pasta dish that came with eggplant (Rigatoni alla Norma) should have had more than two small, thin slices on top. Eggplant is one of the cheapest vegetables out there - no reason to skimp on that !“
“Seared pork belly is awesome. I've had it twice but did not take a photo. Will definitely get it Everytime I go. Portion was bigger when I went on Tuesday. Was much smaller when I went on Sunday. The service was much better on Sunday than on Tuesday but still okay.“
“Was looking for a new place to grab a quick snack before going to the movies, and Sidecar Slider Bar did not disappoint! We stuck to the shareable menu because we planned on eating a ridiculous amount of popcorn, and the items we picked were amazing! We went with the waffle truffle parmesan fries, roasted balsamic and blue cheese Brussel sprouts, and southwest egg rolls. The truffle fries were absolutely hands down the best parmesan truffle fries I have had, and I have had them at a few different establishments. They were hot, fresh, big, and I loved that they were tossed in a truffle oil AND covered with a parmesan truffle sauce instead of just a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. The Brussel sprouts were really good. They also come with bacon, but we aren't pork eaters, so we ordered them without, but they were still awesome! The balsamic and blue cheese crumble complimented the crispy Brussel sprouts well. Last but not least , the southwest egg rolls. They came with a side of sour cream and a zesty spicy ranch type dressing. They were great, stuffed with the perfect amount of black beans, corn, chicken, cheese, and spices. When they say shareable, they mean it because those three dishes had the two of us extremely full and needing a brisk walk before heading to the movies to fill up on movie theater treats! In all, it was a great new restaurant experience that I will definitely return to have. The wait staff was awesome, and the place was clean, and the vibes were great. Kind of a sports bar meets family hang out spot! Check out Side Car Slider Bar next time you are in downtown Birmingham, MI.“
“Had a lovely experience at D'Marcos! Our party ordered the chicken parmigiana, shrimp gemelli and the halibut and everything was delicious! Every staff member I encountered was very polite and knowledgeable. Amazing drinks and atmosphere! at the perfect spot in Downtown Rochester.Vegetarian options: The chef is very accommodating“
“Love Seasons 52. Wine, apps, entrees, It’s so hard to go wrong at this restaurant. I love the crab cake appetizer, the mushroom soup is delicious and I rarely get a glass of wine I don’t like. My weakness is the dessert shots, I always need at least 2 for myself and I brung home 2-3 for my family as well!“
