After court today, me and my guests went to breakfast. We chose Denny's (On Eureka road in Southgate) Denny's has never been known for excellent food but always a good place to stop for breakfast and it always finds it's way onto my list.Today, the always good, but never great food, mixed with some of the best customer service I've had in 50 years. Considering we went in before any big families came in, it was OK. The service was great, just the staff were stood around talking while we ate and not even a ask if we would like more coffee.I understand that if your not busy you have time to talk. I also think that you should connect with your customers as well. Talk to them, ask how their day is etc. That promotes better customer interaction and show more interest. Better than standing around talking to your co workers.

It's a Dennys and it doesn't appear to have changed much in the 10 years or so since I was last there, and that's a good thing. Just comfortable, with decent food, pleasant servers.
