“Absolutely amazing ... all around great ? first off lets give a shot out to my waitress Nicole.... she was beyond excellent.. she assured me everything was good and home made ... and I wasn't disappointed... she was spot on .... flavored home cooking .. like mom's.... “The food is amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The servers are friendly and patient. The cost was very reasonable, especially for a family of four. Cooked and served fast and with a smile. We will be back and our daughter now wants to celebrate her 11th birthday there. Everything is homemade and delicious. Now, one of our new favorite places to have a family meal.“

“The food is a good price and its pretty good. The atmosphere is definitely the main draw here. The food isn't anything exceptional but its good for a quick meal and a fun vibe. Milkshakes are great. Service was excellent.

“I have seen this place online but I am seldom in the area. Saturday my friend and I stopped for lunch. We sat near the front of the building so I had a chance to look the place over. Retired USMC, I know what clean is and this is clean, clean, clean. We each had a variation of their cheeseburger, and both were cooked exactly the way we asked for. Tender, juicy, delicious. We both agreed one of the best burgers we have had in many years. Anxious to go back and try more of their menu. Great service and everyone was "small town" kind of friendly.“

“Holy moly! Best. Chicken. Greek. Salad. Ever! We walked in and the place was packed on a Sunday at lunch, so we knew right away it was probably going to be good. But, we were blown away by the fantastic service and deliciously prepared meals. Homemade Greek dressing was amazing. My friend’s corned beef omelette was perfect, too. I had to try a bite. New ownership, but all the staff remained. Some of the waitresses have been there for over 10 years, so that goes to show they’re happy and taken care of, too. Cute uniform shirts that we recommended they should sell to the public 🙂“

“Love this place! Their salads are the best. My wife loves the chicken version and I love the gyro version. Their gyro meat and tatziki are among the best I have had. The coneys are iconic and perfect. Finish off with some rice pudding if you have room. Sharing is always a good idea! We went for breakfast the next day and had the Dino special omelet. Fantastic!“

“They were closing and I’m not from around here and they went ahead and open the grill up and cooked for me I have to say the food is delicious. The chili cheese fries are really good. Cookie dough cake is delicious, but as their server would say a cavity cake lol“

“We dined in with a large party tonight to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Paige was our server and she was fantastic! She made our daughter feel like a princess and took great care of everyone at our table. Thank you, Paige!“

“Great Food-Fantastic staff! Always comes to the table at the right temperature! It’s a small building but they push out the food! The kitchen always listens carefully to special orders/requests! Came in yesterday (Sunday) and I told the waitress “they made it exactly how I wanted it-it was delicious” -and she said “they better! I put them on notice!!” ?? Everyone seemed happy to be there, and I heard the waitstaff saying goodbye to each other at shift change-and all were so sweet to each other. No catty drama. We come here often and it never disappoints!“

“Got them on 7.23.23 No meat on the chicken. Very dry chicken. The biscuits were so burnt it was black. Unable to eat it. This was my first time back since it reopened. We will not go back.“

“Detroit has a great airport with great airport restaurants. National Coney Island had great food, and prices were not as elevated as we usually expect at airports.
The place was cute with a 1950's feel, and service was very friendly. Overall, food was served quickly, definitely under 10 minutes.
Greek salad and chicken and bacon salad are huge. Fries were great, and coneys were definitely solid. Good choice for Detroit!“
