“Support local. I ordered and had delivered (via DoorDash) perch filets and clam strips. No combo, no drink, no sides. In addition to the complimentary pepper & tartar sauce, they gave me a koolaid and fries for free. Certainly not something to expect every time when ordering, but the gesture was noticed and appreciated

The perch was tasty. It has a light batter fried breading, and the fish itself was tender and good in taste

The clam strips were okay. Like most places you get them from, they kinda just taste like a fried snack without much flavor of the clam eminent. Enjoyed eating them for what they were

The fries were a surprise. They were very good and fresh, you can tell the oil used for them isn’t old and unchanged. The seasoning they use is fire

Overall, give it a whirl. It is reasonably priced, locally owned, and has good food“

“I used to come here over 25 years ago with a friend who lived in the area. Just had them again last week for the first time in 25 years and it's just as good as I remembered! The man who runs this place is so friendly and kind, a pleasure to speak to! The almond Chicken was fantastic! Eggrolls and rice are amazing too! They give you the largest portions I've ever gotten from any Chinese restaurant! It's enough to feed 3 people easily. Prices are fair as well, I will definitely start coming here again when I'm in the area. Delicious!!“

“Krispy Krunchy Chicken (KKC) is an upstart Liquor Store/Gas Station chicken restaurant. I had 2 pieces of fish and two thighs with 3 Jalapeño peppers. Delicious. This store sprinkles a lemon-pepper seasoning on the chicken as a topping. Filled my hunger and satisfied my capsaicin addiction. Chicken was hot, flavorful, and juicy. I've been to other KKC stores that haven't been as good with quality (possibly because of the time of day), but these guys had it right. Juicy flavorful meat, crunchy skin, and not bad for the price. 2 pieces of fish, 2 thighs, and 3 Jalapeño peppers for $13.60. Will go again.“

“I was there today having a very very bad day and the general manager a Miss Smith took my order. She was an absolute delight! I was telling her about the crappy world and she just was a very much of an inspiration to me .She asked me if I believed in God and I said yes and she says then don't worry God's got you and it made my whole demeanor change She was a fabulous wonderful person. Not to mention I heard her going to the restaurant asking customers how their food was if there was anything she could do. “It's not a sit down place, it's get great food and take it home place. Been going here for years have tried others but always just once and then come back. You can watch them cook there's no instant rice, lol, or anything that I have ever had that wasn't cooked properly, not sure what some of these comments are about but seriously literally have ate here over 10 years and never had a bad meal.“

“I got their breakfast burrito & personally that’s one of the best I’ve had anywhere! The salsa they serve on the side is delightful & the server I had I believe her name was Katie, she made my husband & I feel very welcome as it was our first time & we weren’t sure what to get, she didn’t rush us into anything & even recommended a few items that she likes, the breakfast burrito being one of them which I can’t thank her enough for. I also love the look of the place the windows make it feel so open & when the suns out it’s a very pretty little cafe aesthetic to dine at. I didn’t rate 5* because even though the service & food was great their was a lot of commotion in the kitchen & even some yelling which just kind of makes the dining experience a bit awkward, wish they were more professional.“

“Attended the June Bourbon Dinner and it was amazing. Tonight features Uncle Nearest which is one of my favorites. I think I’m partial to this location because I love the staff. Friendly and attentive. If you haven’t done one of the Wine Dinners I would encourage you to do so.“

“HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money here, they don't care *at all*. We ordered dinner, waited 10 minutes before a 20 minute drive to pick it up curbside. My partner called to say he arrived and they kept him on hold for 8 minutes until they came back and said they're waiting on biscuits. He waited even longer. I am sick and my meal was a simple coconut shrimp appetizer. Not complicated to pack up whatsoever along with his fish and chips and a salmon dinner for my friend (that the chef DOUSED with salt. I took a bite myself, it was basically inedible.). I then called to report these issues and they told me they're too busy (on a Monday night at 7pm well past any dinner rush lolol) to deal with me and they will call back "later... Like way later if you're even still awake" - verbatim from the hostess' mouth. 🙄 Didn't offer a replacement or a refund, just blatantly let me go without dinner and did ZERO to mend the situation. Absolutely asinine. We paid $70 for sh*tty fish and chips basically. 🤣 Save yourself the hassle and eat anywhere but here.“

“While riding the place caught my attention due to it being in a plaza. I walked in there was one customer ahead of me then I made my selection I chose the Orange Roughy sandwich awesome choice. “We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. “This place has the best fish and chips... I mean the GOAT!!! I ordered delivery back on 2/20 and reviewed them on Uber, but had to review here too because I'm craving that cod again. I don't usually even like fish. The pieces are big, flakey and just the perfect amount of breading. Plus they give you a bunch of extras with your meal. I might not even make it until Friday.“

“Cameron came to our table and sat down to go over the specials with us. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the entire menu. When he mentioned the lemon rice soup I told him that was my favorite and he brought us a complimentary cup for each of us to try. As you can tell by the pictures it was absolutely wonderful. I do like mine a little more soupy but the flavor was off the charts. We ordered omelettes which were absolutely delicious and we also ordered the Club Sandwich. I did ask to have my hash browns extra extra well done, they were not and that would be my only complaint. Otherwise the whole experience was wonderful. I would give this restaurant a 9 out of 10 and we would most definitely come back to try other things on the menu. The entire staff appears to be very friendly and welcoming.
