“Had a meal with my mom yesterday the biscuits came dried out, hard like rocks and came out old and cold. Our waitress never brought out plates for out appetizer I had to ask for them. I had to ask for bags to take our food home, the dinning room was dirty and full of tables that needed to be cleaned. I never received another drink when I asked for a refill. The food was just ok nothing special and for the cost of 2 meals, appetizer, and dessert, with 2 drinks the service was awful. I've been to this location before and everything was fine. But yesterday it was just awful I was trying to take my mother out for a good time. Your restaurant costs so much to have awful customer service.“

“Ordered through Doordash at 10PM on Christmas evening! What a lifesaver. Dark meat chicken is so good. Lightly breaded (if any breading at all). The skin is very crispy and tasty. Ate it with pickled jalapeno and fried pickles. Reasonable price.“

I stumbled upon it riding through Westland. Have I found jewel. The food is affordable. Nice cordial atmosphere. Just the place to sink into a Delicious plentiful Seafood Boil. Their house sauce is yummy.

The salsa they serve on the side is delightful & the server I had I believe her name was Katie, she made my husband & I feel very welcome as it was our first time & we weren’t sure what to get, she didn’t rush us into anything & even recommended a few items that she likes, the breakfast burrito being one of them which I can’t thank her enough for. I also love the look of the place the windows make it feel so open & when the suns out it’s a very pretty little cafe aesthetic to dine at. I didn’t rate 5* because even though the service & food was great their was a lot of commotion in the kitchen & even some yelling which just kind of makes the dining experience a bit awkward, wish they were more professional.“

“This was a 5 stay review until I tried their bbq. They cook it on indoor grills and they scortched all the meat. The chicken was dry and burnt, the ribs were charred and burnt. Fried items are phenomenal. Fish, chicken, onion rings, clams, frog legs all amazing.“

In addition to the complimentary pepper & tartar sauce, they gave me a koolaid and fries for free. The perch was tasty. It has a light batter fried breading, and the fish itself was tender and good in taste

The clam strips were okay. Like most places you get them from, they kinda just taste like a fried snack without much flavor of the clam eminent. Enjoyed eating them for what they were

The fries were a surprise. They were very good and fresh, you can tell the oil used for them isn’t old and unchanged. The seasoning they use is fire

“HORRIBLE. Don't waste your money here, they don't care *at all*. We ordered dinner, waited 10 minutes before a 20 minute drive to pick it up curbside. My partner called to say he arrived and they kept him on hold for 8 minutes until they came back and said they're waiting on biscuits. He waited even longer. I am sick and my meal was a simple coconut shrimp appetizer. Not complicated to pack up whatsoever along with his fish and chips and a salmon dinner for my friend (that the chef DOUSED with salt. I took a bite myself, it was basically inedible.). I then called to report these issues and they told me they're too busy (on a Monday night at 7pm well past any dinner rush lolol) to deal with me and they will call back "later... Like way later if you're even still awake" - verbatim from the hostess' mouth. 🙄 Didn't offer a replacement or a refund, just blatantly let me go without dinner and did ZERO to mend the situation. Absolutely asinine. We paid $70 for sh*tty fish and chips basically. 🤣 Save yourself the hassle and eat anywhere but here.“

I really don't know or understand what's going on with the fish market these days, but the fish from other establishments I have frequented, are bad pieces of fish to sell to the market.

I won't name the establishment, but they serve fish for profits only. The quality of the fish is subpar at best .

Fred's has consistently served fresh flavorful fish, with choice pieces that were selected for satisfaction and to cure the hunger of their customers.

“We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. “The chicken was really delicious. There are a lot of stuffed animals at this place, which is a little odd, but they have a lot of modern decoration elements as well. Lovely grotto patio, wine display, and private event space. Again, the chicken was so well prepared, very flavorful, moist, and a considerable portion.“

Classic lake pointe burger thick and juicy, no condiments needed, as it was full of flavor with a side of tater tots.

Our friend got the bone in wings with hot buffalo sauce. He really liked them, and said the pizza here is great too.

Girls were all friendly service with a smile! Kudos to them for working in bikinis! Definitely a vibe!“
