Blue Agave Mexican Bar & Grill is a popular restaurant known for its delicious and reasonably priced Mexican food. Visitors from Canada and locals alike praise the food, especially traditional tacos, chicken tacos, and guacamole, which is always fresh and full of cilantro. The restaurant offers a great selection of drinks, with mango margaritas being a highlight, especially during happy hour. The music, featuring many favorite Latin songs, creates a lively atmosphere that many customers enjoy.
The restaurant has a friendly and kind staff, making guests feel welcome. It offers quick service and generous portions, with some meals providing leftovers for the next day. The family meal to go is especially praised for its value and quantity. However, some dishes, like the botana, received mixed reviews; one customer found it lacked cheese and tortilla chips, and noted issues with presentation and menu accuracy. The main dishes are large but sometimes could benefit from more flavoring and spices, and side dishes like beans vary in quality. Despite minor inconsistencies, many customers say they would return, especially those who appreciate the fusion ideas and the vibrant atmosphere. Overall, Blue Agave Mexican Bar & Grill is a great spot for authentic Mexican food with a fun ambiance near the airport.
