“This visit was a totally different vibe I ordered the sliders and they were way too done. The patties were too thin if you want to cook them like that then don't make them like paper thin make them thicker. I always forget to take pictures of my meals so I can share with you guys. But they still are the best restaurant around for breakfast in Downriver area so don't let this discourage you from going to check out Secret Recipes because they still are the Bomb .“

“I came here to leave a good review because they deserve it! Well I'm not the only one! 5 stars for these guys! I met the owner somewhere I think home depot and he recommended I stop by for food . So one day I did. They are the best downriver . Nobody touches their s*** lol... went there today and found out they are closed on Monday and Tuesday . “This place is pretty good they got good food good people pretty fast too. Just a good restaurant to eat at. The waitresses are very nice and the cooks are amazing. Not really a bad thing to say about this place I've been going here for years. I like the food there is a mix between Greek and American. “

“My band (from Cleveland Ohio) had a show in the area last Friday and stopped in for breakfast the next morning. We all agree it was the best breakfast we ever had. Loved the signature hot sauce so much I bought a bottle and it’s already halfway gone lol. Can I order some to be delivered to me?“

“Absolutely wonderful food and friendly employees. I am actually quite shocked that there aren’t more RAVE reviews for this restaurant. Transplant from out of the area a little over a year ago and this is one of my favorite places. The mushroom Swiss burger, onion rings, blue berry crepes and the crepes with chocolate, strawberries and bananas were ALLLLLL amazing. This is definitely going to be my go to place for good food and affordable prices. Again, I’m shocked more people haven’t left reviews because this place deserves all the wonderful reviews they can get. 5 star in my opinion because of the yum factor and the friendly service. “I always get the breakfast #1 eggs over easy, the bacon sausage and white toast. But the restaurant is under new management. Now on the menu is also Mexican food. It really looks tasty so I think I will be going back in the near future quite often ??“

“This is the first time that I've had breakfast here. I had the breakfast special. My daughter had the meat lovers griddle. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They was no wait for a seat. Our waitress brought us water and coffee immediately. She took our orders promptly. The food came to the table in just a few minutes. Our coffees were never empty. They do a great job here.“

“We were up in Gibraltar to get products for our candle company we were hungry so I Google nearest place to eat it should Gibraltar grill so we stopped to eat the food was excellent the wait staff very pleasant the atmosphere was very clean and homey will definitely go back“

“My family has been eating at Mom's for about 20 years(yummy food, sweet bar). That in itself should show how great it is. The best part? Wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. When the staff has stayed with a restaurant for many years it means the owners treat them really well.
FYI During the Covid19 pandemic the owners sent food to the essential workers our local hospital. So caring and generous?.“

“THEY ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND THEY ACCEPT DEBIT CARDS NOW ....This is my go to place to eat at. They are now under new management and they also accept debit cards before the new owners took over they only took cash. So this is definitely a plus. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The food is good too. They are busy most of the time. I usually go for breakfast but when I go for lunch I'll get the fish and it's delicious the clam chowder is good. I've also tried the chicken pita and this was very good. So if you want some good food and AMAZING vibes come check out Tim's Restaurant.“

“They were closing and I’m not from around here and they went ahead and open the grill up and cooked for me I have to say the food is delicious. The chili cheese fries are really good. Cookie dough cake is delicious, but as their server would say a cavity cake lol“

“Unfortunately, I just received the worst customer service at a restaurant. At Six Star In Woodhaven. We got two burgers from carry out, mine was like rubber and my fiancé had a hair in her burger. They made us drive all the way back to prove it. Then they decided she had eaten "too much" of it for a refund. Made us wait 20 minutes for that bs response and handed us a new batch of fries to make up for it. Best part was the owner was too much of a whimp to communicate that awful response to us directly. He made a waitress say it to us after waiting all that time.“

“Nona’s is a small quiet restaurant located in Taylor Michigan. The food quality and portions are on the plus side. The staff are pleasant and attentive. This is a place where you can get breakfast at 8 PM and steak and potatoes at 6 AM! There’s a lot of choices, just be sure you don’t make yours too late!“

“We always enjoy this location. It's a quaint little place tucked next to the historic cemetery.

Breakfast specials are always consistent. Place has been under new ownership and they have kept the same menu and kept the same quality.

As with the times. Some menu items are a tad pricey. But. You choose to partake if you choose to pay. It's that easy. We do miss the Coney Island omelette though. Can't go wrong here. Food is always consistent and the place is always busy !“

“The food is amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The servers are friendly and patient. The cost was very reasonable, especially for a family of four. Cooked and served fast and with a smile. We will be back and our daughter now wants to celebrate her 11th birthday there. Everything is homemade and delicious. Now, one of our new favorite places to have a family meal.“

“what to say when you don't want to give a bad review, but you also don't want to give a good one? How this restaurant has changed since Covid. Before: great service, good prices food was top notch. After: mediocre to bad service, prices much much higher, food not good. After dining here for nearly 20 years our visit today was our last. I'm not sure if there are new owners or what has occurred but the change of staff has had a negative effect. Time to find a new coney Island.“

“This is one of my go-to spots for takeout and it's about time I reviewed. Frankly I'm a little surprised to see negative comments about both the food, service, and prices, because I explicitly decided I needed to leave a review and rave about each. First, the convenience of their online ordering & drive thru pick up window (which closes @ 9) is fantastic. But also, the food quality (& portions) are great for the prices, especially in today's economy. My go-to is a large greek salad, which always has GREAT quality ingredients (and an ample amount of variety, too, not just loads of lettuce & some sad tomatoes) and a cup of lemon rice soup, which is deliciously rich & loaded with flavor. I've also had their spinach pie dinner several times and am always satisfied. I have not dined in here, but have come in to pick up orders, and the people I've encountered have been nothing but friendly and positive. In my opinion this place is a neighborhood gem, I will be gutted if they ever close.“

“This review is based mainly on my personal preferences. I got fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, collards, dressing, gravy and cornbread. The chicken breast was delicious, but overcooked and dry. Potatoes and gravy were fine. The dressing had good flavor but I didn’t care for the consistency. The collards were good except they were too salty. The cornbread was very good. I will order again and try other offerings.“

“Understaffed, but who is not these days. Waitress did the best she could since she was only one on the floor. Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here . We will go back but was very disappointed this evening for the amount you are billed. Tipped the waitress well as she was stressed but still was smiling.“
