“Meet a couple of friends for a brunch meeting. Brioche French Toast was delicious. Chicken link sausage was absolutely one of the best things I've ever had. The server was knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed. One thing we needed was WiFi, which Bob Evans did not have.Parking: Found a spot easily“
“I passed The Hut a few months ago & have been wanting to try it. Well, today was the day. I was a little surprised to see the parking lot fairly full on a rainy Friday, but once I went inside, I saw why. Yes, the place is a little worn down, with tape patching the booths. But I think it's because they are busy and have a lot of customers, so they don't have a lot of time to spend on decor -- although, there are signs and photos scattered throughout the restaurant to look at. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in. I've never been there before, but I was treated just as nicely as the numerous regulars who were there. It is apparent that the young women who are the servers truly enjoy their job, their customers and each other -- and I made sure to mention it to them as I left. On to the food. Traditional diner fare, which I love. I got the slider special, expecting 1) just one burger and 2) that it would be small. Nope, these were good sized burgers, and I could only eat one. I chose onion rings (which I almost always prefer to fries -- getting in the veggies, ya know ;) ) and, as others have said, they were REALLY good. I also mentioned THAT to the server, and she said they are hand battered. I left feeling like, well, I'd been given a warm hug on a chilly day. I will be adding The Hut to my rotation of restaurants.“
“I've known the family for 30 years and they are always quick to open everyone with open arms. When I found out they were taking over Taylor's Kitchen, I couldn't wait to check it out and support. I came for the family and have since kept coming back for the food. The family friendly environment with open kitchen is something to note. Everyone that walks in gets a greeting from most everyone from behind the counter. Everything is always well taken care of and clean. All team members seem to pitch in to help each other out, checking on each other's tables, etc. I've noted the cooks even coming out and checking on patrons themselves. We moved farther away and still make the drive to come dine in as often as possible. We've been making our way through the menu and haven't found something we don't like yet. The pulled pork Nachos and Mac and cheese seems to be my husband's go-to. He works close by and has turned the whole company on to Taylor's Kitchen. If you want a family friendly environment, with great portions of delicious food, make sure to check out this hidden gem!“
“Staff was friendly, and the waitress was nice and the food was amazing. No long wait time. My teenage daughter was unhappy with the choice that she made and the waitress seen the disappointment on her face. It wasn't big enough or didnt look fulfilling, so the waitress asked her if she would like something else and of course she did ( smh teenagers) she came right out and she was happy that was very kind of her of you ask me. No charge for the other dish which made my wallet happy too. Overall great place to eat and kid friendly.Kid-friendliness: They are very accommodating when it comes to the children little juice boxes cups with lids and when available crayons and coloring sheets. Understanding when it comes to the little ones being picky when dining out.“
“I placed a pickup order and was told 15 minutes. When I arrived, the restaurant was packed with people waiting to be seated. I thought I was going to have to wait a little longer for my food but..... Nope! Not only was my food ready when I was told, it was spot on as usual!! By far the best diner downriver!!“
“Everyone is southwest knows this is the spot for breakfast. They have limited hours for a reason! This spot always has people and the turn around is so quick! You order to go or you dine in you will not be disappointed! The food is great. The time for turnaround is great. They have great breakfast food. There is plenty of seating inside and parking is not an issue at all. The location is great not too far from the highway east to get to. You can go in with large families and have a big booth seating to accommodate all of y'all. Or go in alone and still feel welcomed.“
“I come here pretty often with a group of friends and the staff are always super nice, accommodating and on top of things, and the value is amazing! You get SO much food for what you pay and I haven't had a bad dish here yet. I love their patty melt and was pleasantly surprised by their little chicken wing side. Breakfast and desserts are great too! I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid meal at a comfy, friendly place.“
“The drinks were great food came out fast and was hot and fresh. The service was great. There is a front and back section behind the bar, regular restaurant set up with booths and tables. Very nice quiet place. I ordered the caramel apple mimosa which was delicious . The farmers omelette that came with hashbrowns inside the omelet and three pancakes on the side. Everything was great 10/10 would visit again if I'm the area“
“I tried this out today looking for a tasty breakfast. I was trying to avoid the fast food breakfast spots and found this gem in the area. The waitress was extremely friendly and approachable. I ordered the two eggs, toast, bacon, and a cup of coffee. The food is delicious and it filled me up! Everything cooked fresh and right in front of you. Plus, it was a very good price!I had a really great experience overall and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who really wants great food and customer service! We don't see it as much anymore so take advantage of what is left out there.“
“The waitresses there are so sweet and personable. We arrived with an hour left before they closed, but we were never rushed through ordering, and they didn't make us feel like we couldn't order certain things. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and the seasoning on the chicken was so good, and it was perfectly crispy. The chicken strips were very big, too. My children ordered Mickey Mouse pancakes, and the very sweet waitress made a smiley face with whipped cream (after asking permission). For dessert, we ordered the almond joy cake and it was delicious! My daughter and I can't wait to go back and get more! While we were waiting for our did, the waitress recognized that my toddler was getting fussy, so she brought over soup crackers and coloring books and crayons. My family will absolutely go back and support this diner!“

“Although I now reside in Arizona, Michigan is home for me, but I've never visited this restaurant. I would always go to Canton L' George Coney Island. No to go there anymore. I visited this restaurant Tuesday Dec 19, 2023 and have not stop talking about the food, the service (Carol, just beautiful, she reads the table very well, she knows her customers even if it's your first time there [had to give her a 25% tip]), the taste and the quantity. Imagine, when you get a lot of food and it's just bland, that's not Telegraph Grill Family Dining at least not this location. The food was amazing. I had the Chicken Skillet, eggs over medium, it's hashbrowns with onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, I added spinach, pepperjack cheese and a Belgian Waffle. My daughter had Strawberry & Banana French Toast, Son-in Law had Chicken Pita Wrap, Mom had regular sausage, eggs, pancakes, toast. When I say the photos does no justice, you must try it for yourself.“
“Wanted to try something unique at this family owned middle Eastern restaurant. Went through some recommendations and came down to chicken sham quzi. Basically a rice based dish with assorted vege and chicken or main topping of your choosing (e.g. vege) wrapped in a thin layer or crispy thin crust. Baked. Designed to eat with yogurt sauce (per the owner) which I suggest you get. It was definitely unique. Not amazing because it was just 75% rice I feel and little bit of chicken, but I enjoyed the uniqueness of this dish. The owner was very nice and walked me through the menu. Service good. The ambiance was...empty, but clean.“
“Great cafe! Good food and excellent customer service. I was able to order online and communicate with someone regarding pickup. They helped me by preparing my order for my arrival. I was very pleased during my visit to Detroit. I will be back!!!!“
“Just your basic family Diner. The food is great and you get plenty for what you pay for. Their soup bar is awesome. The chicken noodle is available every day. Other days of the week have; stuffed pepper, cream of potato, cream of Broccoli, cabbage, Italian wedding, lemon rice, vegetable, ham & bean, and clam chowder. Love going here as it's very homey. They serve comfort food. Mashed potato with beef gravy is tdf!“
“Came here after a volunteer event in Oak Park and was looking to grab a quick lunch. Tried this place after a Google search and it was the perfect place. Food and service were great. They had daily specials which were nice too. I would definitely eat here again.“
“Needed to pick up a quick bite when returning home after a live show downtown, and there aren't many places open after midnight anymore! This one was, and the food was great. The large grilled chicken salad is a standout for me, loaded with fresh lettuce, delicious chicken, crisp tomatoes, and plenty of cheese. My companions loved the coney and patty melt. A Downriver classic!“
“My recent visit to Kaceli’s Family Restaurant was a delightful journey into the classic flavors of fish and chips. The restaurant's cozy and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect stage for a satisfying meal. I enjoyed fish and chips, and they were a delicious rendition of this timeless dish. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, paired with golden fries that added to the overall satisfaction. Kaceli’s Family Restaurant's commitment to delivering quality and classic dishes was evident in every bite. The friendly service and the inviting ambiance added to the overall positive experience. Whether you're a fan of fish and chips or simply seeking a taste of comfort food, Kaceli’s Family Restaurant is a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to savor more of their delicious offerings!“
“After church today we set to look for an establishment that was open. Being that it was Christmas we had our work cut out for us. We drove for a few miles and saw an open sign so we walked in. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces and a Merry Christmas! The location was busy with other patrons (regulars). We were seated drinks and menus came quickly! The service staff was great! Smiles, smiles, and more smiles! The food came out piping HOT! It was delicious! Let’s just say we may have found a spot for our after church brunch! Thank you for serving our family on this Christmas Day! We definitely will be back!!“
“BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Debby (Debbie) was our waitress and she was friendly, helpful, caring and prompt with everything! “Came here after a bad experience with the Woodhaven location and they absolutely came through!!! Service was very fast and friendly and our food was delicious. Our server Angel was great! Thank you for being everything a dinner at Bob Evans should be!!!“
“Fantastic atmosphere and service with wonderful food to boot. Our waitress was kind, efficient and knowledgeable of the menu. The coffee was great. The pancakes were better, and you have to try the banana waffles! They're out of this world! Prices are reasonable and the location is great too. Make the Cameo restaurant. One of your must stops when in the area. We will for sure be back.Kid-friendliness: With great patience and a smile on her face thewaitress explained the menu to our son. He had questions about food he had never tried and she made it easy to understand.“
