“The food was Amazing. The customer service was top tier. The atmosphere was very laid back, cool and comfortable. I even got a chance to meet Wally himself. He was very polite, cordial and a very cool person to talk to. I'll definitely be back to visit this place. Come check them out. I had the Wally Burger, seasoned curly fries and a Strawberry shake; and cinnamon churros drizzled with chocolate. Everything was a 10 out of 10 easily.”

“I'd you want home cooked fried fish and don't want to cook it in your house, come here. Fresh fish, large enough choice and they have hushpuppies. Haven't found these anywhere else in town. The owners and staff are friendly and give you suggestions.”

“First time grabbing food to go from here. I’m so happy I finally tried them. The food is a 10/10 no complaints. Had a little bit of everything since I ordered for my family. Beef ribs, smoked wings, brisket sandwich, greens, baked beans and mac and cheese. It was all delicious. The meat was well flavored not over seasoned or overcooked. The sides were also flavorful. Nice size portions and good price. Happy to know I have a soul food/bbq option close to home that is good. Nice bar welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to dining in soon.”

“I have driven by this place so many times. I am sorry I didn't try it sooner.
I sure hope this is the norm for them. I ordered chicken and broccoli with vegetable fried rice and crab rangoons.
The chicken in so good, the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The fried rice is delicious.
The portions are huge. I literally have enough for a few meals.
I highly recommend this place and I'm quite surprised it only has a 3.8 stars.”

“Wish I could rate more than 5 stars. I tried the fried chicken, Mac & cheese, rice & gravy, baked beans, and the peach cobbler. There were ZERO misses everything was FIREEEE. I got my food super fast and the customer service was a 10/10. If you want some great soul food with good portion sizes and great customer service I highly recommend coming here.”

Nothing against KFC for that matter, but we frequent this location here at the station frequently and will frequent this location more often!”

Ordered two plates turkey chops greens and Mac and cheese, baked chicken greens Mac and cheese. First soul food place I've ever seen with Turkey chops 😋 chicken was ok Mac and cheese was the best. Very pricey you better off going to one of the grocery stores that serves hot food and getting the same food for a lot cheaper and taste better only no Turkey chops.”

“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.”

“Bakery looks like it has lots of amazing looking things . I wanted to try a peperoni roll as my son says they have the best . I was going to Greenfield village so wanted a quick dinner. Wasn't sure on what to order so I asked if the peperoni rolls had cheese on them .she said she adds it so I said oh ok.. well got it. paid and went to eat it in my car and then found out that there was no way I was eating it in my car.. the cheese was placed inside but was cold and there was a mountain of it .my car would have had cheese all over it ..asked my son and he said you have to ask for them to warm it up .. to me I would think they would just ask at the time if I wanted it warmed up . Anyway I did finally get to eat it and it was very good lots of peperoni..newbie mistake I guess ..I would try again”
