“We had the pleasure of having Wallz Grill Food Truck cater for our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. There was a great variety of options, and everything was served hot and right on time. Our staff truly enjoyed every bite!

What really stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the team. They were organized, efficient, and made sure everyone was taken care of quickly, which is important when serving a large group. Their positive energy added to the celebration and made the event even more special.

Wallz Grill helped us show our appreciation in a meaningful way, and we couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience. We highly recommend them for any event and look forward to working with them again in the future!”

“I'd you want home cooked fried fish and don't want to cook it in your house, come here. Fresh fish, large enough choice and they have hushpuppies. Haven't found these anywhere else in town. The owners and staff are friendly and give you suggestions.”

“First time grabbing food to go from here. I’m so happy I finally tried them. The food is a 10/10 no complaints. Had a little bit of everything since I ordered for my family. Beef ribs, smoked wings, brisket sandwich, greens, baked beans and mac and cheese. It was all delicious. The meat was well flavored not over seasoned or overcooked. The sides were also flavorful. Nice size portions and good price. Happy to know I have a soul food/bbq option close to home that is good. Nice bar welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to dining in soon.”

“I have driven by this place so many times. I am sorry I didn't try it sooner.
I sure hope this is the norm for them. I ordered chicken and broccoli with vegetable fried rice and crab rangoons.
The chicken in so good, the vegetables are fresh and crisp. The fried rice is delicious.
The portions are huge. I literally have enough for a few meals.
I highly recommend this place and I'm quite surprised it only has a 3.8 stars.”

“To be honest - I prefer Krispy Krunchy Chicken's biscuits over KFC's - the biscuits already have honey on them here and the chicken is moist and succulent here. Nothing against KFC for that matter, but we frequent this location here at the station frequently and will frequent this location more often!”

“First time customer, I ordered online, catfish dinner with yams, Mac n cheese, dressing (added an extra side for extra cost). I picked up with my toddler in tow. I'm sure they'll remember us, he came in with his swimwear on and spoke to everyone and wanted the Superman cake. There was no one in line, a couple of customers were sitting down. I finally get home and get settled an hour later and ready to eat only to find my dressing was not in the order. 😩 The dinner was good. Just wish I received everything. I'm not driving back there with my toddler to pick up a side. I should have checked there but they also should have checked, esp with it not being busy at all.”

My favorite part is the friends and family that keep this place busy and then everyone stays and eats at the provided sitting area. You will sit down with strangers and leave with new friends. This is a very old fashioned concept and a terrific example of community. This is a great break from modern society.”

“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.”
