“The cashier was rude and seen me in line and decided to tell the person behind me to come and order when I was in the middle of my order. Then after that when I placed my order, I got the Vara Juice drink and I asked for the larger size she comes out after 8-12 mins of waiting with the drink but in a smaller size. When I tried saying something about it she pretended like she didn’t hear me, then went to get her glasses and said “can you say that again?” In a rude tone then I told her I ordered the large size of this drink she told me that I didn’t and I said yes I did you charged me for a larger size. When she looked at the system she seen that she charged me for a larger size and then she told me “ yeah that’s the bigger size” like why are you lying to my face for, I’ve been to vara juice before and this isn’t the larger size. Anyway her attitude will be saving a customer from pure stupidity and lies. Also the bottom of the drink had freezer burned ice cream. Save your time and go to the better locations of Vara Juice and don’t fall into a trap of stupidity.

UPDATE: We came back for a second try, and this time the store is very clean, and spells like fresh fruits! Cashier was nice and took our order smoothly. Drinks were amazing this time. We got 2x strawberry Banana Smoothies and 1x Vara juice and now it taste great! Great improvement!’”

“The husband and I ate here at their food truck, and it was sooo yummy! He had the Beef Shawarma Sandwich, and I had the Smashed Burger. We shared the fries, and everything was perfect. The beef was cooked just right, and I can't remember the last time I didn't have to re-season my hamburger. The sauce they use is absolutely delicious—I was even dipping my fries in the juice! The food was off the charts good! ♥♥♥”

“Just moved to garden city and took the recommendation to give this place a try. I was amazed at the service and the freshness of each meal. The best burger I have ever had hands down. The Cajun waffle fries are not too strong and perfectly crispy. I love that I can see the chefs preparing the food. $10 for an adult meal is a great bargain and cheaper than buying stuff to cook at home. I will definitely be back. By far my favorite food place in garden city so far.”

“I just picked up a carryout. Oh my!! My husband gave his pork chop suey a 10/10. He actually said it was the best pork chop suey he’s ever had from a restaurant. I have to say my shrimp with sizzling rice was an 11/10. Superb. We are both pretty discerning about food. And to have us both pleased, it was great! I can say I’m not that much of a fan of Chinese food, preferring Vietnamese, but this was such a pleasant surprise. I will become a “regular”.”

“Our server Yasmeen was wonderful and cheerful while serving us. She was also very attentive. We had many laughs and will plan on coming back and requesting we be seated with her again. She was also very understanding of my autistic sibling which is always appreciated as my sister takes a longer time to order than most.
Jackie was also a very good server, she brought our food out and was very sweet. We loved her necklace from her daughter.

“Tried this place after my go to Chinese restaurant closed down and this place absolutely blew my old restaurant out of the water! The chicken was so flavorful and crunchy, not that rubbery chicken you get from other places. The egg drop soup was absolutely perfect as well with crispy chips to go with it. And the amount of food you get for the price is insane! You could feed a whole family with one meal! I will absolutely be ordering from here again soon and recommending it to everyone I know. This is officially my new favorite restaurant! I can’t say anything about the atmosphere or the restaurant itself because I used DoorDash, but I’m sure the dining experience is just as lovely!”
