“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

“My daughter & I ordered a Kaffta wrap & Gyro. Both where phenomenal!!! I have ate there previously, the food is excellent, fresh, made right in front of you. The charcoal is what makes it for me... The restaurant is the cleanest it could possibly be, bathrooms included. I can't say enough about the service, I believe I dealt with the Husband/Wife owners, they are awesome people. They will give you a great experience with a smile. I can't say enough about this place, if you don't try it your missing out, support the mom & pop industry, they give you more than any chain business can provide. I'll keep coming back. Everything is fresh made to order. It was all prepared very nicely. And tasted delicious. The yellow rice is delicious. I found it to be more seasoned when I ordered the beef Shawarma versus the chicken Shawarma. -The beef Shawarma was flavorful. The veggies were nicely, chopped and plentiful. The chicken Shawarma was prepared well. It’s not as flavorful as the beef but it’s still tasted good.

Although I love the preparation bowl and How good it tasted, it’s too expensive for the amount of protein that you get. I’m sure other people load up on all the toppings and that fills their bowl up, but I basically get protein and just a couple veggies and then they serve you a huge amount of rice- $15 and I eat Only half of the rice-( if that)-

I’m not a fan of their shawarma sandwiches. Again, I find them to be lacking in protein.-$10“

“Vedi nyss , I visited here for a meal years ago it was delicious, being in town this time I went for another go. I had Tabbouli one of my favorite opening Mediterranean dishes. The Herbs was as chopped as kale, the fish was flaky going with the texture of the greens. Hearty I vacuumed it !! Service was questionable and I glinted to some scuffs during my approach. could be just as warm to strangers as it is good for regulars. It's no room for coldness as that in a restaurant. Bad for business“

“I read the reviews and wanted to try this place with my fiancée who is a huge Mediterranean fan. Beruit Gardens did not disappoint! Food and service are excellent, the portion size is very good and the flavors some of the best, if not the best. Mediterranean that I have had.“

“This was my first time at the location in Southgate. The parking lot is small, but the food is well prepared and fresh. There are kiosk inside to place your own order. You can pay with credit card or you can order at the counter and pay cash. The food was delicious and the portions can be spread over several options for lunch/dinner. I couldn't eat all my food because I got full so I saved some for dinner and some for lunch the next day. I give this restaurant a thumbs up🙂“

“Tried this place for the first time just because I was passing. Phenomenally good. Had shish tawook and the seasoning is exceptionally good and the chicken very moist. Some places the chicken is a bit chewy, and theirs is so good! Also, sitting here I've watched the owner test people with great respect and kindness.“

“We've eaten here a few times recently and every time has been delicious! We have loved everything we've tried so far. The complimentary spicy garlic sauce with the bread is so good. The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. “I orderes through DoorDash and figured I'd give them a shot. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, small tabouleh, and medium fries as they didnt have an option for small through DoorDash. I dont know if something got lost in translation or if its genuinely like this everytime, but the tabouleh and fries I got would be large or extra large at most other places. The tabouleh was the best ive had from outside the home. The fries are fantastic, and the chicken shawarma came LOADED.“

“This restaurant is consistently flooded with take-out orders all day and evening. We favor their Greek Salad and Deboned Chicken Platter. The food is as healthy and fresh as can be. We estimate that we have ordered from Alex Kabob around 50 times. Expect to wait 15-20 minutes to pick up because of the demand.“

We needed a last minute order for 15 people and were scrambling after calling 5 other mediterranean restaurants that all quoted us $300.00 or more. Sheesh came through for us in the best way. The owner, Mike< was personally involved, incredibly helpful and made the process easy and stress free. Not only was the service outstanding, but the price was more than fair-just $180.00 for everything we needed. The food was fresh, delicious and everyone in our family]group loved it.
