Today I ordered the beef Shawarma bowl With yellow rice ,pickles, tomatoes, and cucumbers. Regular tahini sauce and spicy tahini sauce.

the lady who owns the place is very nice.

Everything is fresh made to order. It was all prepared very nicely. And tasted delicious. The yellow rice is delicious. I found it to be more seasoned when I ordered the beef Shawarma versus the chicken Shawarma. -The beef Shawarma was flavorful. The veggies were nicely, chopped and plentiful. The chicken Shawarma was prepared well. It’s not as flavorful as the beef but it’s still tasted good.

Although I love the preparation bowl and How good it tasted, it’s too expensive for the amount of protein that you get. I’m sure other people load up on all the toppings and that fills their bowl up, but I basically get protein and just a couple veggies and then they serve you a huge amount of rice- $15 and I eat Only half of the rice-( if that)-

I’m not a fan of their shawarma sandwiches. Again, I find them to be lacking in protein.-$10“

“Tried this place for the first time just because I was passing. Phenomenally good. Had shish tawook and the seasoning is exceptionally good and the chicken very moist. Some places the chicken is a bit chewy, and theirs is so good! Also, sitting here I've watched the owner test people with great respect and kindness.“

“The cashier girl was very sweet, kind, and beautiful. Even though my English is not very good, she treated me very nicely and made me feel comfortable. The sis grill was fresh, soft, and delicious, and my order was ready in about 5 minutes. Great service and great food. I will come again.“

We needed a last minute order for 15 people and were scrambling after calling 5 other mediterranean restaurants that all quoted us $300.00 or more. Sheesh came through for us in the best way. The owner, Mike< was personally involved, incredibly helpful and made the process easy and stress free. Not only was the service outstanding, but the price was more than fair-just $180.00 for everything we needed. The food was fresh, delicious and everyone in our family]group loved it. It's rare to find a place that combines quality, value, and genuinely caring customer service. Sheesh has deffinetly earned our future business.

“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

“My daughter & I ordered a Kaffta wrap & Gyro. Both where phenomenal!!! I have ate there previously, the food is excellent, fresh, made right in front of you. The charcoal is what makes it for me... The restaurant is the cleanest it could possibly be, bathrooms included. I can't say enough about the service, I believe I dealt with the Husband/Wife owners, they are awesome people. They will give you a great experience with a smile. I can't say enough about this place, if you don't try it your missing out, support the mom & pop industry, they give you more than any chain business can provide. I'll keep coming back. “I recently visited Beirut Restaurant in Michigan and had a great experience. I ordered the mixed grill, which comes with two sides, along with rice and the lamb soup. Everything was excellent. The mixed grill was cooked perfectly, with tender, flavorful meats and generous portions. The lamb soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, it was definitely one of the highlights of the meal.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Overall, Beirut Restaurant delivered great food, excellent service, and a pleasant dining experience. If you're looking for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, I would definitely recommend giving it a try.“

The salad is so fresh and we love the dressing and pita chips in it. The hummus is great. The chicken schwarma sandwich is yummy and a great lunch deal. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. “I orderes through DoorDash and figured I'd give them a shot. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, small tabouleh, and medium fries as they didnt have an option for small through DoorDash. I dont know if something got lost in translation or if its genuinely like this everytime, but the tabouleh and fries I got would be large or extra large at most other places. The tabouleh was the best ive had from outside the home. The fries are fantastic, and the chicken shawarma came LOADED.“

“Surprisingly, for a late Sunday afternoon dinner, Al-Sultan wasn't terribly busy, and that's too bad, because the meals and service are worth it. We had the half a boneless chicken, chicken livers appetizer, mixed grill, fries, toom (garlic sauce), and side salads, and all were delicious. I'd have given the food a fifth star save for the fact that some of the beef in the mixed grill was tough, but the dish was still flavorful. Our server was a helpful and talkative young man who was working hard the entire time we were there. We were greeted by everyone when we walked in the door, and the place was clean. Al-Sultan is a longtime favorite that I will not hesitate to revisit when I'm in the area.“

“We used Mr. Baker for our wedding cake as it was included in our hall package. I want to start by saying the cake itself was amazing!!

The only downside to using Mr. Baker was communication was very difficult. I would call the bakery and was told that the baker was not in or was not available. I dropped off information and when I called again they asked me for the same information I brought already. Closer to the date when I called the bakery, I did express my frustration and the baker called me from his personal phone number and did take care of everything we needed. The cake arrived beautifully and did taste wonderful - but communication could be improved.“

“I normally frequent the brownstone location. however in my work travels sometimes I stop by the 14 n Woodward location. today I got a bowl and had a few problems. 1 the lid wasn't on all the way so now got food all over my clothes and inside my vehicle. also the pieces of meat were big and not sliced up. How tf is someone supposed to eat that with a plastic fork ? it would of took 30 seconds to slice that up for a bowl, instead it was left whole. normally the food is great, but today was not good.“
