“Two nights ago , my wife and I dined at Al Shallal, a Lebanese family owned and operated restaurant. We were warmly greeted by hostess/server Nourhan and offered menus. My wife ordered an absolutely delicious falafel plate that was accompanied by a marvelous tahini sauce and rice. I chose the perfectly spiced and prepared mixed grill (beef kabob, chicken tawook and beef kafta served with a pungent garlic sauce and rice. Our order included, as a prelude, a choice of salad or soup. We opted for the homemade (all items we ordered were made from scratch) chicken lemon soup: shredded chicken, and rice in a deeply flavorful lemony chicken broth (yum). Our servings were generously portioned and absolutely scrumptious. Following the meal, we ordered homemade, once again, baklava and a small pot of a cardamom infused Lebanese coffee. Food heaven. Nourhan was an absolutely wonderful server (daughter of the owners who were the chefs). We have dined at many Lebanese, Iraqi and Iranian restaurants. Al Shallal, in Dearborn Heights , Michigan ranks at the very top for quality, price, taste, presentation, authenticity and service. Thank you Nourhan and family.“

“I orderes through DoorDash and figured I'd give them a shot. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, small tabouleh, and medium fries as they didnt have an option for small through DoorDash. I dont know if something got lost in translation or if its genuinely like this everytime, but the tabouleh and fries I got would be large or extra large at most other places. The tabouleh was the best ive had from outside the home. The fries are fantastic, and the chicken shawarma came LOADED.“

A barbecue crispy chicken sub, add cheese corn black olive and extra mayo. Today I went to the Dearborn heights location after many years of eating all the other foods that have come along and I have to say, It still had the same taste and after all these years still hit the spot. Fresh crispy and on point. The guys got it right tonight. I see a lot of people complain in the comments, ignore the noise and try it for yourself. This place is good. The prices are very fair for what you get. If it’s your first time there just get what I get, if you don’t like crispy the get it grilled. That’s the OG chicken sub everyone is trying to recreate. It all started at albasha. The classic grilled chicken sub with cheese corn mayo and black olive. It started on Warren Ave in east Dearborn.“

“I recently visited Beirut Restaurant in Michigan and had a great experience. I ordered the mixed grill, which comes with two sides, along with rice and the lamb soup. Everything was excellent. The mixed grill was cooked perfectly, with tender, flavorful meats and generous portions. The lamb soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, it was definitely one of the highlights of the meal.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Everything is fresh made to order. It was all prepared very nicely. And tasted delicious. The yellow rice is delicious. I found it to be more seasoned when I ordered the beef Shawarma versus the chicken Shawarma. -The beef Shawarma was flavorful. The veggies were nicely, chopped and plentiful. The chicken Shawarma was prepared well. It’s not as flavorful as the beef but it’s still tasted good.

Although I love the preparation bowl and How good it tasted, it’s too expensive for the amount of protein that you get. I’m sure other people load up on all the toppings and that fills their bowl up, but I basically get protein and just a couple veggies and then they serve you a huge amount of rice- $15 and I eat Only half of the rice-( if that)-

I’m not a fan of their shawarma sandwiches. Again, I find them to be lacking in protein.-$10“

“Mashalla this is the best restaurant I have ever went to in my entire goddman life! Like, sheesh bro, calm down with the quality and tenderness of your chicken, my mouth exploded of joy when I devouered this divine dish! Allah must have bestowed this chef with his extraordinary cooking skills. Just absolutlely fabulous!
And my god, the atmosphere was just something else! The prison vibes were so accurate I felt like I was never gonna get out of this place, although I actually forgot that I have indeed murdererd someone and deserve to be in here! Absolutely crazy.
Also the variety of the food was great! Chicken and shrimp are only some of the few extravagant choices on the menu, but they are by far my absolute favorites (although I thought they tasted quite similar).
And the service was also ambsolutely amazing! The waiter (also the cook) was kind enough to provide me with a menu as soon as I entered and cleared a table for us by scooping up the remains of previous guests' food with a plastic tablecloth and making it magically dissapear like a wizard! And such grace in his movements! Truly the mark of a professional at work!
All in all the best restaurant experience I have ever had in my life!

The food was really good and was made fresh, I was greeted at the door with smiles, the place was very clean and best of all the price of all of this was only 25 dollars. Greeted by the most lovely staff, I was seated in very comfortable chairs, surrounded by the most awe-inspiring Yemeni art pieces. Beautiful Yemeni outfits and jambiyas adorn the walls with decadence and flair that bring one’s presence to the motherland of the Middle East. Mashallah I felt like I had a small glimpse into heaven, joyful energy with families all around just enjoying the evening to the fullest. I had the Lamb Haneeth which really filled my taste buds with tantalizing flavors one can only describe as truly satisfying, invigorating, captivating, breathtaking, and utterly wonderful. But we usually split the platter for 2 when we are both eating here because it lets you try multiple things and gives you way more food. we always have leftovers so we get to eat more of this amazing food later on. All the meat has been juicy and tender. We love the rice with the almonds in it. Everything is just delicious! Can't wait to come back. I want to try other things because they have so many things that sound good but we also love what we get already so it's so hard to switch it up! lol Might have to try something new next time though just to see what else we like. “Surprisingly, for a late Sunday afternoon dinner, Al-Sultan wasn't terribly busy, and that's too bad, because the meals and service are worth it. We had the half a boneless chicken, chicken livers appetizer, mixed grill, fries, toom (garlic sauce), and side salads, and all were delicious. I'd have given the food a fifth star save for the fact that some of the beef in the mixed grill was tough, but the dish was still flavorful. Our server was a helpful and talkative young man who was working hard the entire time we were there. We were greeted by everyone when we walked in the door, and the place was clean. Al-Sultan is a longtime favorite that I will not hesitate to revisit when I'm in the area.“
