About Tarboush Bakery (Dearborn)

Tarboush Bakery in Dearborn is known for its authentic and delicious maneesh, which are made fresh to order and topped generously. Customers praise the variety of flavors, including zaatar, cheese, spinach and cheese, sojouk, meat, and keshk, all prepared with fresh ingredients. The maneesh are a good size, well toasted, and consistently high quality, with authentic flavors that taste like they do in Lebanon. The sojouk, a Turkish sausage, is particularly noted for its true flavor, and the cheese, especially Akawi, is of excellent quality. Prices are affordable, with the total for a meal including tea often around $30, making it a great value for the quality and quantity.

While the food receives high praise, some reviews mention that the service and atmosphere could use improvement, suggesting that with extra effort, the experience could be even better. The bakery also offers small hand pies called fatayer, and the place maintains good hygiene practices, especially in handling cash and using gloves. Overall, Tarboush Bakery is a highly recommended spot for authentic, fresh, and tasty maneesh, with many customers considering it their go-to for Lebanese baked goods.
