Classy professional Lisa and our waitress was amazing these Ladies went above and beyond for us. Food and drinks was excellent. Thanks for making our evening memorable
Food is delicious! Would recommend ordering to go— the art of hosting is lost on this place. The hostesses could barely be bothered to stop putting on makeup & chatting At the host stand upon entry. The kitchen staff were louder than the music half the evening. & The wait staff could use some training.
Food was good as always and the drinks were strong. Waitress was attentive and polite. Good date.

Savannahblue is a hidden gem that serves great food with proper seasoning and generous portions. The catfish plate with macaroni and cheese is a highlight, along with the delicious Cherry Green Salad with Salmon, catfish fritters, sweet potatoes, and greens. The shrimp and grits and seared salmon with shrimp farro jambalaya are also exceptional dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and ideal for date night, with a girly, beautiful vibe and a nice location next to the people mover. Visitors have praised the friendly and pleasant staff, including servers like Ranier who make helpful suggestions without pushing. The food is consistently delicious, moist, and well-seasoned, with favorites like honey butter corn muffins, smoked wings with housemade BBQ sauce, and the catfish. The restaurant features two flights of stairs before entry, so dress accordingly. The bathrooms are nicely decorated and perfect for taking fun photos to share on social media. While service can sometimes be slow and there are occasional concerns about drink refills and tipping practices, the chef's skills shine through. Overall, Savannahblue offers a terrific dining experience, making it a must-visit spot in Detroit.
