This place is a 10/10! I love everything about the atmosphere. They are pro black baby!! The food was soooo amazing!! There is a dress code but baby everyone came smelling like coco butter, grandma's house, aunties house! The dress code is casual formal

We came to SavannahBlue for my friends birthday dinner. We plowed the very strict dress code but there were MANY individuals in the restaurant who did not. I ordered the Autumn Salad with Salmon. When my food came and I cut into the salmon it was EXTREMELY raw. Our waitress was very apologetic and took it back. When my second one came (the one pictured) it was a bit more cooked but still raw. I decided to just eat the salad without the salmon. The salad itself was delicious, I was just disappointed in the salmon situation. But our waitress was amazing and my meal was free and she brought us a free dessert as well. The service was amazing, just slightly disappointed in the food.

Friday April 19, 2024. $10 to park, no big deal. Dress code no big deal. Food excellent. Service horrible. Waited a long time for two of our party’s drinks. Wait staff were rude. Never picked up appetizer plates, for about 15 minutes, until dinner plates were being delivered. With a really bad attitude, waitress rudely said “if you move those plates, I can set your dinner plates down”. 18% gratuity was excessive for the horrible service, this coming from an experienced waiter.

My friends and I attempted to have dinner here however our experience wasn’t so great. We walked inside and were greeted by the host. The host was very pleasant however as she walked us in to be seated we were approached by a woman with a terrible attitude saying they weren’t opened yet. (Hence the door to the restaurant was open so we let ourselves in like we would any other time we’re going out to eat) Her exact words were “give us 10 minutes”. So we walked out and tried to find somewhere to sit and wait. All 3 of us had on heels so it would’ve been nice to have a designated place to sit down while we waited. But instead we were approached AGAIN by the same woman asking us not to lean on their furniture and this time her tone was even worst than the first interaction. After paying $20 to park, and her speaking to us as if we were children, we decided to leave.
Our nephew suggested this place. We’re glad he did. We started with drinks from the bar and the catfish bites for our shareable. For our entrees, we had the chicken plate, shrimp & grits, Ox tails and chicken wings with collard greens and sweet potatoes for sides. Everything came out promptly and hot. We also want to give a BIG handclap for J’Len Bailey for doing a wonderful job as our server. I want to thank him for giving us a little history lesson on the “people mover” that was a great attraction as we ate our meal. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
