“This will forever be my favorite spot in Detroit to splurge. Every time I go here I am amazed at the Chef's Choice preset menu. The cocktail and wine program is 12/10. Highly recommended.Vegetarian options: They ask about dietary restrictions when they greet you and all vegan and vegetarian dishes are clearly marked on the menuDietary restrictions: They ask about dietary restrictions when they greet you and all vegan and vegetarian dishes are clearly marked on the menuParking: Street parking only. Can get busy around 7pm“
“I love this place ,always delicious! Prices are reasonable with generous portions! Carry out is always hot and fresh EVERY TIME❤️Vegetarian options: Omelettes can be made to order.I love feta and spinach ,it's delicious with crispy hash browns!“
“Amazing customer service, food, entertainment and overall experience. I have yet to purchase something that I didn't enjoy. Not too many places have live entertainment anymore either so this is definitely a treasure.Parking: Ample parking in the back.“
“Everything That I've Ever Expected In A Restaurant. &, Super Wonderful Customer Service. &, A Very Special Thank To, Pan For Serving My Very Good &, Yummy Meal. “Another positive Happy hour review! (Details: Tuesday - Friday 3pm-6pm | Sunday 12pm-6pm Exclusive to Bar and Lounge Area Only) Love J. Bawldwins bar/lounge. Roomy and bustling. Jenna is very accommodating and attentive. On Fridays they have live acoustic music starting at 6:00. Great happy hour menu for good and drink. Today I ordered the Pomini and an ice glass. Cheers!“
“The Charlevoix continues to impress. The food choices are inspired and fun - try everything! Some things I never would have thought to try have been incredible (carrot tostadas have no business being this good). They also serve the best Ole Fashioned in town, and have Sea Quench on tap.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, including the tostadas and the smoked tofu sandwich (don't skip this, it's insanely good).Parking: Parking lot is right across the street at the intersection corner.“
“Got the spinach feta tomato omelet with hash browns to go. The food was amazing and look how nicely they packed it!! They even put parchment paper between the food and the toast so the toast wouldn't get soggy. The food was even perfectly symmetrical see photo lol place is a little hidden breakfast gem.“
“All of you pink Greek dressing snobs kept going on and on about the Greek salad and dressing at Savory Grill (located on Van Dyke in Utica), so I stopped in for lunch today since I was nearby at Nail Experts. I'm a believer!! Yum! Everything is fresh, lots of toppings, a ton of juicy chicken, and the dressing is my favorite part. This is the regular size. They also have a large for a couple dollars more. Highly recommend! Fast, kind service too... and more than fair prices. This is a nice, clean, updated casual family restaurant with comfortable seating.“
“Parking here sucks but the coffee and pastries are very good. There are tons of vegan options for drinks and a good amount for food. There's a small sitting area in the back, and the line can end up filling the seating area. If you want to sit and chill, I'd go to another red hook location. All of the other ones have more seating. This one, though, has the best vibes tbh. Make sure you get whatever food you order warmed up it makes it 10 times better.Dietary restrictions: They have all the vegan milk options and vegan quick bites“
“Great atmosphere, service and food! I LOVE the “Over The Border Egg Rolls” and the “Red Wine Braised Short Ribs”!!!!!!!!! Ommmgggg they are sooo delicious! I order the same thing every time and it’s delicious every time! I definitely recommend the two dishes along with others. Great restaurant for dating to family fine dining.“
“Some dishes are hit and miss. Didn't like the Ravioli or Smelt but loved the 2 piece Cod and Turkey Dinner. Hard to beat the value as they give you a ton of food, and cooked fresh. Been going a lot the last 6 months, and the service is on point.“
“Listen guys! I’m speaking to my Detroit natives and my tourists.. this place is the place to BE! Yesterday I visited this establishment and I had ‘what I thought’ was the best experience but after returning for seconds the VERY NEXT DAY… I’d have to say that each time I visit the experience gets better and better. I absolutely love this place. Not only because it’s black owned but because they stand on straight business. The food was exceptional And you can tell that they take pride in providing quality service. I order the pasta 10/10, the sweet & spicy shrimp 10/10 & the chicken sandwich 10/10.. no exaggeration.. yeah so check them out“
“Growing up part Lebanese and Syrian I was basically raised on this type of food, so I know what I like, and my expectations were high. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and our waitress Kylie was outstanding. For drinks I ordered a Manhattan, and my friend had a Spicey Margarita. Both were strong and delicious. For our Appetizers we had the Calamari which was super crispy and came with an amazing sliced tomato sauce. Of course I had to get a taste of everything so the Vegetarian Plate was an absolute must. It came with so many different food items and even just the presentation alone was gorgeous. My favorites were the fried Falafel which was super flavorful, crispy, but not dry at all like many can be from other places, the Baba Ghanouge was fantastic, and the Hummus which was so smooth and some of the best I’ve had. Hot bread was provided as well for dipping. Now if I’m completely honest, I did not care for the Veggie Grape Leaves or the Fattoush Salad. The salad seemed a little soggy and the flavors just kind of blended together, and the Grape Leaves had much too strong of a lemon/garlic type of taste that was way too overpowering. For our Entrees I decided on the Kibbeh Niyeh (raw lamb), which was very fresh and a large portion for the price. My friend decided to mix it up and try the Chicken Florentine. I wasn’t sure a predominantly Middle Eastern style restaurant could deliver on a dish like that, but not only was the portion huge, the flavor and quality is like one you’d find at a nice Italian restaurant. I was very surprised. For Dessert we of course had to try the Tiramisu. Each bite nearly had our eyes rolling to the back of our heads. It was light but flavorful, and each bite just melted in your mouth. If you’re in the mood for good Mediterranean, I highly recommend checking this place out!“
“Though the outside is unassuming, the food here is absolutely delicious. You would never know that you could find some of the best American food in metro Detroit in a strip mall in Eastpointe. The spicy cheese curds are a must, and this place is known for having great wings. They also grill a mean burger. The bartender was super friendly, even offering us free candy while we waited for our order. We will definitely be back!“
“Such a gem! This little spot in downtown Mount Clemens is such a great restaurant. The atmosphere is top notch, while it may seem small, it has two nice wings that bring you between bright and cozy to lowly lit and romantic. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Best cornbread I've ever had and their hush puppies are what hush puppies should be, at least this far north! Highly recommend you go and go again. The service was friendly and responsive too. Will definitely be going back myself!“
“Tuesdays are $1.50 coney island hotdogs. I ordered but the toppings of chilli mustard diced onion was REALLY what I paid for. Today I spoke to one of the delightful (and Gorgeous!) waitresses and told her I hoped to have EXTRA not OVER the top onions and mustard and what I got were THE BEST CONEYS!!! I paid a small UPCHARGE but boy was it worth every penny! Way to go Antonio's Coney Island STILL with the best Coney AROUND“
“The Chicken Greek Salad was fresh and crisp! Very Generous with the Feta cheese and the Chicken Breast was seasoned and grilled to Perfection! I enjoyed the Garbanzo beans and the freshly cut Cucumbers! Their prices are very reasonable compared to EVERY OTHER OPTION…including McDonald’s these days with the Skyrocketing Inflation RateThe server was attentive and friendly! The server asked if I would mind waiting while she brewed a fresh pot of coffee for me.The restrooms were immaculate and pleasant to use! I dine out often and the amount of effort and care that the operators are rendering is impressive!Keep up the great service“
“We really enjoy coming to this brewery. The staff is very friendly, the food is really good and the beer is excellent. Was so excited to see so many stouts on the menu today and they were all really good. I've never been able to go to a brewery and have a beer flight of so many different stouts so that was exciting. The porter was really good too as well as the red.“
“Always busy when I go. Great service with a waitstaff and kitchen that was wonderful with working around my fungi/mold food allergies.Vegetarian options: Friendly staff that works well with questions and alternatives.Dietary restrictions: I have a fungi/mold allergy and they were able to hold the balsamic vinegar, parmesan cheeae, and other aged products in making an allergy friendly fresh meal.Parking: The municial parking is not located on Google maps but it is available across the street.“
“Always a great time! If you’re sitting at tables Brittany is one of the best! Alexis and James behind the bar are outstanding as well! Food is always good, drinks are great, service is top tier. Doesn’t get much better than a night at Johnnys!“
“Visted here for the first time today, was looking for a quick lunch spot with a friend and this was the first place that popped up on Google. The atmosphere is lovely, I love the hanging lights and the decorations. Nancy the server was such a sweetheart and a fun person to talk to! We got jalapeno poppers as an appetizer, they are crispy and delicious and not very spicy at all, which is fine by me since I prefer mine to be more mild. Dipped in their ranch, they were amazing! I got a chicken pita and my friend got a hamburger, both were amazing and we we full and satisfied by the end. Will definitely be returning, thanks for the great experience!“
“Perfect hangout spot! With a diverse bar selection, live entertainment, karaoke nights, delicious food, top-notch service, pool, darts, and a lively atmosphere, it's a super fun place. If you're looking for a guaranteed good time, look no further than Jamboozies!“
“We went for Sunday breakfast & to my surprise, it wasn't as busy as I expected for a Sunday morning. The food was alright- standard, casual American fare, nothing extraordinary. Nonetheless, it was tasty & our waitress Rosa delivered great service. Oh, and despite its unassuming exterior, the interior of the place is quite charming!!“
“Came today for their very last service and was absolutely honored! We had a wonderful waitress who was very friendly our entire visit. Food was delicious, dessert was fantastic and drinks were wonderful. Music choice was a great mix of classics and new remixes and I am sad to hear Penne Lane is closing but very excited to see what they have in store for Octopus Beer Garden!“
“11:30 a.m. on a Tuesday and the parking lot (front & side, at least) are full but the overflow has space. All the look of a 50's style diner, right down to the music which was loud enough to hear but quiet enough to talk (i.e., perfect volume). OK, the ladies aren't wearing poodle skirts but they were a bit sexist. The server greeted me quickly but seemed a bit overwhelmed as she was the only one working the floor at the time. Understandable considering the number of diners to deal with at the time. She was pleasant despite the workload and checked in several times after my meal arrived. All the accouterments one expects at a diner right down to the creamer and jam.Menu is pretty broad, especially where sandwiches are concerned. Fish sandwiches, gyros, burgers, hot dogs (Coney, plain, etc.), melts. A fairly substantial breakfast section and salads & soups round it out well.I went with the Classic burger & fries. The burger is huge & the amount of fries is substantial. I ordered the burger medium but it came medium-well. It wasn't juicy like it should've been but was flavorful still.Next time I'll sit at the counter (missed that on the way in). There's a drive-thru in case you want to "grab and go", too.An FYI: if you pay by plastic, you will pay the credit card charge. I don't mind, but I was unaware.I'd definitely return.Parking: Parking near building is tight, about 12 spaces, but there is overflow.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner, it's friendly to the wee onesWheelchair accessibility: The doors are sensor activated & wide. There's ample room for maneuvering inside, too. Sidewalk around seems a bit narrow (but I'm not in a chair)“
“Stopped in with 5 coworkers after other plans fell thru. Just wanted some decent food and cold drinks. We got so much more. The food was very good. The service was excellent. Hannah was amazing. When she found out it was my birthday she said was going to do something special for me. Her and the bartender came back with a platter of delicous cakes for the table complete with sparklers and happy birthday sign. Finished up with a round of shots and a beer for me, on the house. The group was disappointed our previous plans got canceled, but Hannah and the team made up for it. It made my bday night! My only regret is it's too far from home to be a regular stop. If you live near by and haven't stopped in, you're missing out.“
“It's not often I leave a 5/5 review. Although I haven't tried everything on the menu, I had the Slam Dunk sandwich, and it surely didn't disappoint. The roast beef was tender and extremely juicy, not too fatty, and the sautéed onions and havarti cheese added just enough flavor, but not too much to overpower the roast beef and roasted hogie bun. Fries are superb ? well done guys! I'll be back“
“We came in fri 30th for a quick lunch. It was very very busy. I watched the bartender/waitress Kelly running around waiting tables serving preparing drinks. That women is amazing. Kelly did not skip a beat. Whatever she's getting paid is not enough lol.i guess she's been their several years. My biggest complaint has been the soup. I've been their at night girls eating talking with 2 to3 girls on floor having issues either with each other. They put someone like Kelly on nights. They would have a great business. Thank you Kelly your amazing.Jim and Jenny“
“My future husband and I come here often! This is the best place to dine in at. The manager and the staff are always so friendly and helpful if something goes wrong they do everything they can to correct it and are very professional. We will always be one of their regulars!“
“Second time to dine here. If you are on the fence just try them out! The burgers are just delicious. That yummy beef taste and texture of what beef used to be like! There are a selection of burgers with sandwiches created with a variety of beef and lamb.A few chicken sandwiches, crafted sandwiches and a big person style grilled cheese(lol) I will be trying at my third visit. They use beef tallow in their fryer so everything tastes amazing. Fried sides sell at a shareable price. The feta fries are yummy. It is always a pleasure to receive a dish that is different from the norm! The short rib nachos are amazing too. The beef melts like cotton candy with great crispy nachos that hold up to their toppings. Just added a tad of salt. We have had the bacon me crazy burger and smash burgers. Both are amazing. They have gluten free burger buns. My partner had the Tarzan cocktail and a whisky sour. The bar tenders rock mixed craft cocktails here and use egg whites in the sours demonstrating old school crafting. Lemonade is okay. Variety of milkshakes with and without alcohol. Great for singles , date night or family dining with a nice size bar to dine at or try a craft cocktail. Staff is very approachable and attentive. They are just open from a remodel. The inside is higher end looking than what you would think for a burger location but this is more than just a burger! I have always said ,”I would rather eat a great cheeseburger than a steak because finding a great burger does not happen that often and when it does, you just have to go for it !” There is a level of darkened elegance with a relaxed vibe. Great place to unwind and dine after a hard work week! They are trying a new menu and items. At times they may run out of a product ,however, in keeping everything fresh from scratch this can happen. I will go with their flow for food that is freshly prepared by a business that cares. If I were to pick a restaurant this reminds me of it would be Regale Craft Food in that the food is always freshly prepared from scratch with respect abd served in a cozy relaxing environment. Your choices are not necessarily all small plates here ,however, every bit is worth it. Just divide everything up and pass multiple dishes around. They do not have a large dining room and seating has moved fairly well. We just dined at a local bar/restaurant and they charged $19.00 for a burger and fries. My double patty smash burger with house made chips which are amazing was $14.00. Naked Burger uses Grass-Fed Dry-Aged Piedmontese Beef which is tasty and juicy. Their buns are yummy too! Old school quality and amazing flavor so worth it!Vegetarian options: They have many fresh ingredients to almost make what you request.Dietary restrictions: GF buns,VG MARKED ITEMS“
“everyone was friendly and courteous, got to watch them making the pizza and have some nice conversation and the pizza was pretty good overall. pepperoni was a little over cooked but the crust made up for it, toppings were generous. their drink selection is pretty limited so plan accordingly.I'd definitely come here again“
“My husband and I shared gluten-free Mac and a burger on a GF bun. It was all so good! So good that I double checked the pasta was GF after taking a bite. Only downside is for the price typically we would have leftovers- we left feeling satisfied (not super full) with no leftovers.I can't speak to whether this is celiac friendly since I'm just gluten sensitive, not allergic.Dietary restrictions: GF pasta and buns“
“Stumbled upon this place while working in the area. Stopped in and gave it a try. Besides the spring roll and the pork skewer, I wasn't really sure what I got. All I can say is it was all very delicious. They gave me a serving of the soup for free. I think I was a ginger soup and that was super tasty. The dish that came with rice kind of had a resemblance of chili or a stew, but it was really good. I believe it had Chicken in it. I would go back there again.“
