“Last night we had Charise as our server. She was the bomb!! Great personality, knowledgeable on food. beer & spirits. I ordered half an order of plain chicken wings! Holy cow they were a full wing and huge! They were awesome. They had a little dry rub on them. Sauce on the side. We were on the 2nd floor. Very quaint and had a pool table. I highly recommend this place. It was my 1st time there. I'll be going back!“

“The meads are a constantly rotating selection so if you see something you think you might like...get it! It may not be there next time. The service is excellent and the whole experience is very casual. Trivia Nights are great (and loud). There is often a food truck outside during events. This is important as the only food served to ends to be bags of gourmet pretzels.“

Stephen came to meet us and was essential in making sure we had “Polish, double smoked kielbasa “ for the event. It should be on the menu full time! Everything was delicious and fresh.
The Alabama white pulled chicken, pulled pork, pretzels, smoked meats charcuterie board, fresh fruit, double smoked Kielbasa ( so darn delicious) and the Kale Cesar salad.. all finished off by our Family and guests. Everyone loved the beer selection, the food and the vibe at Batch!
We have always been supporters of Batch Brewery, now we feel like they are part of the Family.

“Checked out Eastern Market Brewing Company tonight, and I get why people talk about this place. It’s right in the heart of Eastern Market and has a great lineup of beers — enough options for everyone, whether you’re into IPAs or just want something easy to drink .
I grabbed a flight so I could pretend I’m a beer expert. I’m not, but the dark beer was smoother than I expected and the lager was the kind of crisp you want after a long week. The space itself feels laid back — good seating, and you can still catch whatever game is on without feeling like you’re in a packed sports bar.
Service was friendly, crowd was chill, and it’s the kind of spot where you could make this your go-to without even trying. Detroit beer, no pressure, good energy.
I’ll definitely be back — and I’m officially adding breweries to the list of places I “review” now.“
“we have been stopping in for drinks for a while now before we go to concerts and the theater.. we love your bartender, we love our drinks and the pizza to boot! we love sitting at the back of the bar and sometimes on the couch playing a few games!“
“We came to Detriot to see the NCAA D1 National wrestling tournament. We stopped in and had a great time. The beer, food, and environment were wonderful and we give them 5 stars. Look forward to coming back. Mechanicsburg PA folks“
“I have been to this brewery a handful of times and the beers just keep getting better and better. They have a full line up; lighter options, IPA’s, stouts, sours, etc. Every time I go, they have something better than the last time. Yesterday, I visited the brewery and I am in a straight leg brace and crutches after having knee surgery. James, the bartender, was very courteous and helpful, even going as far as bringing me over an extra padded chair to elevate my leg on without me asking. It’s hard to find great service like that anymore. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone.“

“Got a little concerned with the recent reviews, but happy to report that the kitchen overhaul mentioned has seemed to work as stopped in for lunch on a Sunday and had some really good bar food and good service. The only reason for not a full 5 stars was one of our hazy IPAs was a little flat on tap but still a recommendation for the area.“

“My father and I went in today for the 5 year celebration and our server Tajma was amazing. She knew the beers like the back of her hand and we had a great conversation about local breweries and beers we are huge fans of! Keep up the great work. Also the wings were phenomenal honey sirracha delicious, and the platter had so much amazing stuff we had to take a lot home! We will be back.“

“Best damn sandwich I've ever had! I got the buffalo chicken grilled sandwich, and it was amazing. The service was fantastic and quick. I really appreciate how above and beyond the cook went. Definitely can tell it was made with love. I will be a regular here from now on you can expect me back! I also got a birthday cake scone, and a home made pop tart that was absolutely delicious. Again, I will be back! Great place! Down to earth service.“

“Sure I’m biased as a lifetime mug club member, but don’t sleep on Lily’s!!! From the always available standards to the seasonal releases, everything is always on point and to style. Favorites include the pils, dortmunder, California common and marzen. Happy hour is also great — I’m not a seafood person but have plenty of other great options. Prost! 🍻“

“We hosted a 40th birthday party here a few weeks ago and could not have had a better experience! The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were wonderful and the room worked perfectly for our needs. I absolutely would use Urbanrest again as an event space! Thank you so much to the entire crew for making our party memorable.“
