“We just wanted 5 slices but the price for 5 came close to a full-size (8 squares), so why not? We didn't get a receipt (physical or email) but the buzzy thing only. It did take a while, and with 6 kids, it seemed like forever. I did have to verify our order was processing. This pizza was AMAZING. It was so hot out of the oven, I went through 2 plastic knives that WARPED from the heat. The tomato flavor was just pungent, just delicious The pepperoni was spicy for the older kids; the 2 year old gobbled it up. I've never had to twirl cheese until now, and it was extremely satisfying.I honestly don't know what the fuss is about pizza. And Husband is New Jersey Italian, so that's blasphemy. But Buddy's Pizza at the Detroit Zoo pizza is a home run right here.Tables might be sparse for big parties. Bathrooms are not in the building. Staff seemed a little vacant but pulled through for everything we asked for.”
“Cannot go to bed tonight without writing this review first. Sat at the bar and service was impeccable. Bartender/waitstaff really knew the menu well. Ordered the trout, beet salad, and gnocchi all of which were flavorful and texturally perfect. For dessert, ordered the upside down carrot cake and pavlova. Ate every last bite even though we were already full. We will be coming back and bringing friends!”
“If you're looking for a quieter spot to enjoy a drink and conversation, Bar Pigalle's outdoor patio is a hidden gem. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's the perfect retreat on a warm evening.”
“Have ordered from here well over a dozen times and it is consistently delicious every time. Their Naan, chicken Tikka Masala, and Butter chicken are all great options.”
“This has become my new favorite sushi restaurant. The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious. I did order a sushi roll that had truffle in it, and it was not my favorite, the flavors were not complimenting each other. Everything else we ordered was so flavorful and great that i would order it again next time. Boa buns were good, but not amazing.”
“Spicy braised pork with cheese corn is S tier! Makgeolli is well priced, comes in a big bottle, and is super tasty. Bonus points for the loud ambiance. You can bring your crying baby, and nobody will notice! Must try for anyone in the area.Vegetarian options: The cheese corn and complimentary Tteok-bokki mean you can share a night out pounding drinks and filling up on greasy food with your meat-eating friends!Parking: Clawson has free parking lots at every corner of the 14-mile/main intersection, as well as free street parking.Kid-friendliness: Restaurant has loud music and lights, which will either entertain or upset your child. If they are upset, the music will cover up their cries, and clawson is a family town, so nobody will care anyway.Wheelchair accessibility: Two tables are up a small set of chairs, all tables are at wheelchair height.”
“I haven't been out in a while so my daughter recommended this place I I went in a I paid 100dollars for a couple of tables! I was later approached bye a young lady and was told we had to spend at least 200 dollars for drinks and we were only at 80 dollars! Then I was told! She thought we booked online! I felt really uncomfortable! But I loved the loved the Live band !”
“I stopped in to try the Woodward and the Farnsworth Funghi. I was able to split the pizza and do just that! The cashier was great! This pizza is delicious!!! I stopped in at lunchtime, so it was a 45 minute wait- and totally worth it!! It's a casual spot with many options & many customers. There's a small lot and street parking.”
“James was great, highly recommend him. He has great customer service and was very attentive to the entire parties needs without any complaints. He deserves all the accolades that corporate has to offer.”
“My husband and I had dinner here tonight, and we were both absolutely blown away. Every course was incredible. The presentation was beautiful. Staff was attentive, helpful, and very friendly. This was an incredible elevated dining experience that will be remembered for a long time.”
“Oh MAN Rocco's is the place I have searched for in vain until last year when I tried them for the first time. Since that first meatball sub I have had almost every sandwich on the menu and so far not one has disappointed! Today I had the Corner Deli and was transported to Italian paradiso! In case you non-Italians did not know, ciabatta is the Italian baguette and Rocco's bakes many fresh loaves several times per day! Usually it is still warm from the oven even if you get a cold sandwich! There is no better sandwich bread in my progenic-Italian opinion! They are in Midtown on Cass just East of Mack. Try them if you have yet to do so. You will thank the gods!”
“We came to Ferndale for some bagels, but while parking we smelt the amazing smells of Indian cuisine. We instantly changed our minds and l’m so happy we did. The service was immaculate and the food was spectacular. The restaurant is very clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend the lamb tikka masala & garlic naan! So scrumptious!”
“The chef is preparing foods for those with adventurous and discerning palates. Its on my list of top 5 restaurants in Michigan.Believe all the 5 star reviews which includes the service!”
“My new spot! Food is awesome, everything my hunny and I had was an A+....and that doesn't happen often. Drinks were great and the atmosphere was fun. We can't wait to go back and try something else.”
“Like many other folks over the past couple of weeks, a friend pointed out the recent video review of a place that's been in business 20+ years I never knew about.Be warned up front: it's carry-out only at this time. We didn't know that. The store itself is charming and no excess. You go there for the food. The gentleman who waited on us was extraordinarily polite and helpful. I'd go there again based on the service alone.I ordered the shrimp dumplings, which reminded me quite a bit of the ones I get in Hong Kong, so, bonus. Lots of filling here, too. The crab rangoon is hands down the best I've had from a restaurant probably ever. It's the real deal and absolutely delicious! Oddly enough, the green onion pancakes had the lightest of flavor. I'll probably try something else like the Spring Rolls in lieu of the pancakes next time. And there WILL be a next time.Amazing place and great food!”
“Cool, small spot in downtown Clawson. Parking around back. Be prepared for a minor wait that may have you waiting outside until there's enough room inside to wait.”
“Food is always great, some of the best around Metro Detroit for sure. My only annoyance is the mystery around the tasting menu. I was there yesterday and my friend for the tasting menu and I ordered from the menu. He got more plates of course, but the things I ordered- tuna tartar, cabbage and steak were all part of the tasting menu, I just got a bigger portion size. I was hoping to have a much more variety which is why we ordered that way. Everything was delicious and service was great. Just consider the mystery of the tasting menu doesn’t really make sense if every item is just a small portion of what is listed on the menu.”
“We had the mango cloud cake slice, blueberry cloud cake slice, tiramisu latte, and the honey lavendar latte. All were amazing and 10/10. The cake wasn't too sweet but instead a more subtle taste (my favorite), tasted like the actual fruit in its name, and had the fruit in it. The honey lavendar has a stronger taste of sweetness and lavendar. Get it iced. The tiramisu latte we got hot and it was also not sweet and a more subtle tiramisu taste. The cake slices were $6-$7 a slice. The lattes $5-$5.50. Reasonable prices. The service was great. There is a nice seating area inside and outside. Our favorite cafe/bakery place in Troy. Will come again.”
“Jordan was our bartender last night and he was amazing! Being short staffed and very busy, he still took excellent care of us and the drinks were delightful. Thank you!”
“I really enjoyed my appetizers, the Spicy Tofu Bites and the Pork Gyoza. Each was full of distinct flavors, with great textures too. My college age freshman also enjoyed the giant bowl of Mushroom Miso Ramen. This experience for a quick lunch was exceptional. The accommodations were stylish and comfortable sans the cold air duct making me a bit cold over the table we sat at. The staff was kind and gave us time to look at the varying menu. An overall wonderful meal.”
“Wow. Tbh I was a little skeptical bc good Thai food can be hard to come by these days, but Saab Sis Thai is a keeper:- Generous portions.- Reasonable prices.- Great balance of flavors (Just a reminder that Thai medium can be quite spicy haha). In particular, the grilled tilapia was great! (Pro tip: kindly ask for a reheat and they will refry the other side so both sides are crispy.) The balance between the fish and the sauce was ?.The papaya salad Laos style with the crab was a great accompaniment to the pineapple fried rice and pad Thai entrees we ordered. The service and vibe was also on point. Keep in mind the place isn’t that big, so if you’re coming with a party of 4+ you might want to call ahead.Looking forward to coming back again!Edit: Came back again to make sure the first time wasn’t a fluke. It wasn’t haha. The pad see ew might be the best I’ve ever had. I found that “mild +” is the right spice level for me. The papaya salad + fried tilapia is the perfect combo for a flavor bomb with a cacophony of textures. We will be back again!”
“I just have to GUSH about my experience with Time Will Tell! I recently held a Birthday Party there, and it was everything I had hoped for and more! From the jump, Jake, who I worked with to plan, was flexible, helpful, and communicative. They allowed me to bring in approved catering, my own sound, and even a drag queen! Everyone loved the cocktails and mocktails, as well as the picture perfect aesthetics. I also cannot give enough kudos to the staff! They were super attentive to everyone and helpful to mostly first-time visitors. Cannot recommend enough for a drink or special event!”
“I can count on one hand the amount of places I've been and experienced this level of umami. the quality checklist of atmosphere, food, cocktails, music and service are outstanding to say the least. just.. come here and see for yourself.”
“This place has a cool atmosphere and good vibes. The food is great and there’s many choices to pick from. I really enjoy the unique Thai Classics at Bangkok 96 and the fresh made ice cream that they have. Staff is super awesome and very friendly. this place will be the spot to be at in the summertime months, enjoying both the inside and outside atmosphere”
“such a fun experience!! definitely recommend for anyone that likes to drink, be with friends, and pedal around Detroit. Omar was our driver and i would 10/10 recommend he was amazing and made the experience :)”
“Funky, fun offbeat and a one of a kind place that embraces strange. There is nothing like this quirky place! See it and get inspired to pen a short story! The staff are very friendly.”
“Wow! Staying at a hotel a couple of bocks away so we decided to try it here for dinner, and we were NOT disappointed! Marvin was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! Chicken parm was HUGE (took half to go) and was seasoned perfectly. Hubby had the gnocchi with sausage and said it was FABULOUS! We both added a salad to our meals, house salad for me and Caesar for him. Had the Arancini for an appetizer, and it was soooo good! Order a pomegranate blueberry mule, and you will thank me!Parking: There is a large paid lot right across the street that is really inexpensive (75 cents an hour)”
“My husband and I finally tried Lucky Brunch yesterday morning and I wish we have tried it sooner! Our server was Vera and she was super nice and told us all about Lucky Brunch and the items on the menu. We ordered the veggie omelette and added ham, smoked salmon benedict, a side of biscuits & gravy, and the blintz crepe… a lot of food I know but we couldn’t narrow it down so we had a whole second meal with our leftovers. Everything was great and I can’t wait to go back and try more!”
“My cousin is a regular here and this was my first time here. This is a fantastic little shop. Their menu is extensive but filled with great things. They also operate as a snack and liquor shop with specialty items. The food I had was well made and the service is friendly. You can really see that the locals love this place and come here often. It's a place that is definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.”
