Food is always good. The only thing I would brush up on is friendliness of counter staff. It feels like the customer is more of an annoyance than anything. This comment is not just from one visit. I have repeatedly been here.

Nick's Pizza is a true staple to the Ferndale/Hazel Park area. I've been going here for now 15 years and don't see it changing.The pizza is always fantastic. I personally always love the idea of getting just one topping on their pizzas because they are extremely generous with their portions. Tried Nick's for the first time the other night. Pizza is pretty good, nice soft crust and semi-sweet. My only complaint was the staff being pretty short with me. I didn't even have a chance to sign the receipt and they were already gone. Online ordering is always a nice benefit. All in all, I'll definitely order again.... Maybe it was an off night for the person at the counter.
